"Why did you stop?"

Kai looked at Elias, who had come to a sudden halt at the mouth of a narrow alley, the afternoon light barely reaching the entrance, the air cooler and damper between the high walls. Elias had once described these kind of Alleys as a place where Asassins could be bought.

Elias stared ahead, for once he wasn’t smiling.

"Wrong turn."

Kai looked around.

"This is literally just an alley." He said in a bid to poke the bear.

"I noticed." Elias replied calmly.

"And you somehow took a wrong turn into an alley?"

"Yes."

Kai folded his arms, the A-rank plaque shifting against his hip.

"You’ve been acting strange since we entered this part of the city."

"I’m always strange."

"Not like this."

Elias glanced at him, for a moment Kai thought he would actually answer, instead Elias turned as if to leave, but Kai stepped into the mouth of the alley and kept talking.

"Well, i didn’t know an Assassin would be that scared of an Alley"

Elias sighed once and moved.

One hand closed around Kai’s wrist, the other pressed flat against his chest and shoved him deeper into the shadows until his back hit a cold brick wall, the sudden darkness swallowed the street noise,They were deep into the Alley now. Elias leaned in close enough that Kai could smell the faint smoke that clung to his clothes.

The system chimed, but Kao grunted and ignored it.

"You are talkative today is it because you haven’t gotten your dose yet? ."

He said in a deep bed voice..

Kai’s eyes widened, heat rushed straight to his face and lower, the familiar low pull in his gut that had become impossible to ignore after a month of this.

"Sh—not here, Elias."

"Quiet, you said i was scared of the Alley, let me show you how much can go on in a dark place like this."

Elias’s voice dropped, rough and certain, he pinned Kai harder against the wall with his body, one thigh sliding between Kai’s legs, the pressure already enough to make Kai’s breath catch.

"People can hear—"

"Shut up and keep your mouth busy."

Elias’s free hand went to his own belt, the soft famaliar sound of leather and metal was obscenely loud in the narrow space, he freed himself and the heavy length of his cock rested against Kai’s hip, already half-hard and thickening fast.

"Now kneel and suck me off."

Kai instantly obeyed without reasoning, his knees hit the damp stone before he could finish second guessing himself, the impact sent a dull ache up his thighs, he looked up once, Elias’s expression was dark and focused, the same look he wore when he decided something was going to happen whether Kai liked it or not.

Kai opened his mouth.

Elias pushed in, slow at first, then deeper, the thick head dragged over Kai’s tongue, the salty weight of it filled his mouth until his jaw stretched, Elias’s hand settled in his dark hair and held him there, not forcing him but guiding him, Kai sucked rather shamelessly, messy and eager despite the panic still fluttering in his chest, every wet sound seemed too loud, every shift of Elias’s hips made him fear someone would turn the corner and see.

Elias pulled free with a soft pop, hauled Kai up by the collar and spun him to face the wall, Kai’s hands slapped against the brick, Elias yanked his trousers down just far enough, cool air hit bare skin, then Elias dropped to a crouch behind him.

Kai’s breath punched out of his lungs when the first broad lick dragged up the cleft of his ass, Elias ate him with the same focused intensity he brought to everything else, tongue firm and relentless, circling, pressing in, wet and hot until Kai’s knees threatened to give, a broken sound slipped out before he could stop it, Elias stood, spit-slick fingers pushed inside him, two at once, stretching the still-tender ring of muscle from the night before, Kai bit his own wrist to keep quiet.

Then Elias lined up and thrust in.

The sudden full stretch burned in the best and worst way, Kai’s forehead pressed to the wall, Elias fucked him in short, hard strokes that stayed deep, one hand clamped over Kai’s mouth, the other gripping his hip hard enough to bruise, every snap of Elias’s hips drove the breath out of him, the wet slap of skin echoed off the brick, Kai came first, shaking and silent, the contents spilling on the wall, Elias followed a few thrusts later with a low curse against the back of Kai’s neck, heat flooding deep inside him.

They stayed like that for several seconds, breathing hard, Elias finally pulled out, fixed both their clothes with efficient hands, and stepped back as if nothing had happened.

Kai’s legs felt unsteady, a deep, familiar ache settled low in his body, the same pleasant numbness that had followed him all morning after the previous night, only fresher and sharper, he straightened his coat and refused to meet Elias’s eyes.

"You’re an asshole."

Elias’s smile returned, quieter than usual.

"You needed it, now do you think i am scared of the alley?"

Kai didn’t argue. Elias smirked and packed his junk with one hand and did a thrusting emote on the thin air in a mocking manner ...

"Yeah, that’s what i thought"

"Fuck you" Kai said with a squeezed face.

They left the alley and continued walking, every step reminded Kai of what had just happened minutes earlier, the residual stretch, the faint wetness he was still ignoring, the way his body already wanted more even while it complained.

"You’ve been here before?," Kai said eventually, voice rougher than he liked.

Elias continued walking.

"Yes."

"How many times?"

"Enough."

"That’s not a number."

"Well it isn’t"

Kai sighed, adjusting his gait carefully so the soreness wouldn’t show.

Elias stopped and looked back at Kai.

"I grew up here." He said with a bland expression.

Kai blinked.

"Here? In Ravenport?"

Elias nodded.

"Yes"

Kai stared at him, that was not what he had expected, Elias had never spoken about his childhood, not once, neither had Kai particularly cared to know.

He had learned things about this man..his profession, his preferences, his terrible sense of humor and his willingness to kill and fuck without hesitation, but never where he came from.

"You really grew up here?"

"Yes, why are you having a hard time believing it?"

"I don’t know...i am just trying to process the fact that you have lived in Ravenport this entire time"

"Well that is false because, i left here a long time ago and this is the first time i have been here since ages" Elias said with a sad look on his face.

Kai was overly interested "well...When did you leave?"

Elias looked toward the distant river.

"Ten years ago."

"That’s a long while ago"

"It truly is"

"So what made you leave?"

Kai said and waited expectantly for an answer. But Elias was bot having it.

"That’s none of your business " he said and walked faster, kai frowned and walked faster too struggling to match his speed.

"Well, you can’t just tell me something like that and stop."

"I just did."

Kai groaned, the motion pulled at the fresh ache behind him.

"You’re infuriating."

"I’ve been told."

They continued walking, Kai glanced at Elias from the corner of his eye, ten years ago, the number stayed in his mind, something had happened, he could feel it, he just didn’t know what.
