A System screen appeared before him as he focused on the requirements.

[Upgrade your Talent to Transcendent+ Rank: COMPLETED.]

[Create a one-thousand-strong army of War-Plants: IN PROGRESS. (769/1,000.)]

[Master all Class skills to Level 10: IN PROGRESS. (Gene Reaping: Level 9), (Seed Imprinting: Level 8.)]

[Create three sapient Tier 2 plant-type beings: IN PROGRESS (2/3).]

[Harvest a hybrid plant created from a mix of Tier 2 crops from the Divine Realm, Hell, and Mortal Realm: IN PROGRESS.]

[Conquer a Tier 2 City using your crops or plants: IN PROGRESS.]

Out of the six requirements, Isaac had already completed one, while almost all of the remaining ones were close to completion. The requirement to create a thousand War-Plants was progressing especially quickly because every Pea Spitter he had created counted toward the total, and with the number of plants he could produce, reaching a thousand had never been particularly difficult, only time consuming.

At his current speed, he could complete this quest in a week.

The requirement to master all his Class skills was also progressing smoothly. Under normal circumstances, this would have been one of the more troublesome requirements because raising skills to Level 10 required a considerable amount of practice, but Isaac had the Perfectionist Title. The effects of the Title increased his skill progression, and because he had accumulated multiple stacks of it, simply using his abilities normally was enough to push them toward the next level.

Gene Reaping had already reached Level 9, while Seed Imprinting was only one level behind. Isaac was confident that he would complete this requirement soon, especially now that he had started using Seed Imprinting more frequently. He didn’t need to specifically grind the skills anymore because his ordinary activities were already giving him enough progress.

The requirement involving sapient plant-type beings was even less concerning. Isaac had already created two such beings, the Sunflower and the Happy Bunny, which meant he only needed to create one more species. He had enough genetic material from the Great Dungeon to create several more sapient plants, but he had deliberately slowed himself down because the Happy Bunnies had taught him that creating intelligent plant species without understanding their potential consequences could cause serious problems.

Once he was confident that the Happy Bunnies were under control, he would create another species. In other words, Isaac could practically consider this requirement completed already. He could complete it anytime he wanted.

The Tier 2 City requirement was also progressing well. Several of Isaac’s clones had already been sent toward different cities, and they were getting close to their destinations. Once they arrived, Isaac could begin using his crops and War-Plants to take control of the cities, so completing that requirement was only a matter of time.

That left only one requirement that Isaac couldn’t easily solve.

The hybrid plant.

Isaac already possessed seeds from the Mortal Realm, Hell Realm, and Divine Realm, so technically, he had everything he needed to complete the requirement. The problem was that he only had a small number of those seeds, and he didn’t want to recklessly experiment with them and accidentally destroy the only specimens he possessed.

Isaac rubbed his chin while considering his options. Florathi was famous for its agricultural expertise, and the Seventh Queen had access to countless resources that could potentially help with growing or combining high-level plants.

’Should I ask the Seventh Queen for something that can help me?’ he wondered.

He quickly rejected the idea, however. Jasmine didn’t like him, and he couldn’t say that he particularly liked her either, so Isaac had no interest in asking her for a favor. Even if she agreed to help, he would rather avoid creating a situation where he owed her something.

A business transaction was different.

Isaac thought about the possibility for a while and eventually decided that it was probably the better approach. Once Selene arrived, they could negotiate with Jasmine, especially since they already needed to discuss the dungeon Jasmine had promised him and the portion of Divine Stone he intended to sell.

There was no need to ask for a favor when both sides could simply make a mutually beneficial deal, so Isaac put the matter aside for the time being. He would wait until Selene arrived before approaching Jasmine, which would also give him more time to think about what he wanted from the deal.

Several days passed after that, and most of them were spent much more peacefully than Isaac had expected. He went on dates with Emily and Celia whenever they had free time, taking them around the city and simply enjoying the opportunity to spend time together without having to worry about urgent matters.

Isaac couldn’t help smiling whenever he saw how happy they became over something as simple as going on a date. Back in their own city, all of them had responsibilities that made it difficult to spend entire days together without thinking about work, but here, they didn’t have the same problems. For once, they could simply enjoy themselves.

Alice’s situation was also progressing well. She continued entering the wilderness every day to complete her Daily Quests, and the constant fighting allowed her to become familiar with her new abilities while steadily increasing her combat experience. She was also working on leveling up her weapons, and the weapon known as [I, Destroy] had already advanced from Mortal rank to Spirit rank.

The stat boost provided by the weapon had doubled after its advancement, and it was already approaching Mystic rank. The weapon was somewhat troublesome because its abilities required the user to become angry before they could be properly utilized, but for some reason, Alice never seemed to have that problem.

Isaac eventually became curious enough to ask her about it. "Why does that weapon seem to work for you all the time? Are you’re actually angry all the time?"

"That’s a secret," she answered with a playful glint in her eyes.

Isaac stared at her for a moment, but Alice clearly had no intention of explaining herself. Since she didn’t seem troubled by whatever was causing the weapon to function continuously, he decided not to press the matter and simply accepted her answer.

Alice had also discovered a dragon-type monster in the Wilderness, and she planned to hunt it soon because its blood was necessary for improving her [Heart of Magic]. The equipment was something she had obtained from the Special Shop after gaining access to it through the Great Dungeon, and its effects increased her learning speed when practicing Magic Arts.

She had also started collecting the blood of other powerful monsters whenever she encountered them. Most of those materials were eventually given to Celia, who could use them to strengthen her own Legendary equipment, so Alice’s daily hunts were benefiting more than just herself.

Meanwhile, Isaac had finally completed the requirement to create a one-thousand-strong army of War-Plants. He had also managed to raise Seed Imprinting to Level 9, bringing it to the same level as Gene Reaping and leaving him only one more level away from completing both Class skills. With everyone around him becoming stronger at an impressive rate, Isaac felt that their overall progress was going exactly as he had hoped.

However, despite all of that, Isaac couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. There was a particular matter that had been bothering him more with each passing day, and it had nothing to do with his Class Advancement Quest.

Eleanor had disappeared.

Ever since Eleanor had appeared and interrupted his confrontation with Jasmine, she had not shown herself again. Isaac had no idea where she had gone, and even Catherine, who should have been one of the people most likely to know what Eleanor was doing, didn’t know where she was.

The uncertainty had been bothering Isaac for several days, but his mood finally improved when Selene and Catherine arrived at the Florathi Kingdom.

Isaac immediately flew out to meet them. Several Florathi soldiers from different Cities were also rushing toward the area after noticing the appearance of a Sky City, apparently intending to investigate the unexpected arrival, but Isaac ignored them for the time.

The moment he saw Selene, Isaac couldn’t help smiling. She was standing beside Catherine, and although she maintained her usual calm expression, he could tell from the way she looked toward him that she had been waiting for this moment as well.

Isaac flew toward them and landed directly in front of Selene. He looked at her for a moment before giving her a teasing smile and asking, "Did you miss me?"

"Yes," Selene answered seriously, and there was a slightly needy expression on her face as she looked at him.

Isaac was surprised by how openly she admitted it, because he had expected her to avoid answering or perhaps give him a calmer response that concealed her feelings.

’Seems like she really did miss me.’

Isaac stepped forward without saying anything else and pulled Selene into a tight hug. She didn’t resist at all, and after a moment, she relaxed against him as Isaac lowered his head slightly and spoke in a warm voice.

"It’s fine. Now we’re together again, and I’m not letting you out of my sight again. I don’t like it when we’re far apart for so long."

Despite the possessive nature of his words, Selene’s cheeks turned slightly red, and she smiled happily while remaining in his arms. She seemed completely satisfied with his reaction, as though the fact that he had missed her just as much was more important than anything else he could have said.
