Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds
Chapter 200: The Reappearance of Annihilation
Chapter 200: Chapter 199: The Reappearance of Annihilation
Deep within the ruins of the collapsed building, the darkness was as thick as a physical substance.
Dozens of Hunters entered in single file, the light from their illumination equipment only able to pierce a few meters into the darkness.
Beneath their feet were shattered concrete and twisted rebar; the air was thick with a mixture of decay and the scent of blood.
Suddenly—
Everyone stopped in their tracks at once.
An inexplicable chill surged from their spines straight to the crowns of their heads.
It was an instinctive warning, the most primal perception of danger for a Hunter.
Their backs grew cold, and a profound unease rose within their hearts.
“What’s wrong?”
someone whispered.
No one answered.
Everyone squinted, staring intently at the pitch-black space ahead.
Suddenly—
A faint purple light shimmered in the darkness.
The light flashed and vanished, rhythmic like the heartbeat of some gargantuan creature.
It disappeared again.
A man took a deep breath, removed a flare from his waist, and loaded it into the launcher.
“Swoosh—!”
The flare ascended with a blinding light, hovered at its zenith, and then slowly descended.
A crimson glow illuminated the darkness.
And then—
Everyone froze.
What kind of creature was that!
Its body was unimaginably massive, nearly filling the entire underground space.
Dark purple exoskeleton covered its entire body, its surface etched with eerie patterns—skeletal structures of human palms, layered and dense, as if countless hands were struggling and clawing.
Thick purple arms were embedded upside down along its spine, each ending in sharp claws like demonic hands reaching out from hell.
These arms were no mere decoration; they were tightly integrated with the Flesh and Blood Corpse King’s body, pulsing slightly with its breath.
Large.
Unimaginably large.
Just as the Japanese had described—this was a twisted behemoth with the power to destroy a city!
Even more terrifying than the descriptions.
The light from the flare continued to fall.
Suddenly—
The behemoth moved.
Its head had turned toward them at some unknown moment.
Those eyes—
The moment everyone saw those eyes, their minds went blank.
It was a compound eye made of countless double pupils!
Each double pupil rotated independently, yet they all simultaneously locked onto every person present!
Within the dark purple pupils, their silhouettes were reflected, their fears were reflected, their—
Death.
Stared down by such eyes, they felt as if they were being watched by countless demons at once, bound in place by an invisible force, about to be dragged into an eternal hell.
“Boom—!”
The Flesh and Blood Corpse King moved.
Its two pairs of massive Pterodactyl wings pressed against the ground, supporting its mountain-like body.
It rose slowly; with every inch it moved, the entire underground space trembled.
That bloody maw, filled with Fangss, slowly opened.
And then—
“Roar—!!!!!!”
A shrill roar, a cacophony of countless voices, surged frantically from the depths of its throat!
Within that sound were the roars of men, the screams of women, the cries of children, and the wails of the elderly—as if the fury of tens of millions of lost souls had erupted simultaneously!
A violent gust of wind, carrying the stench of flesh, slammed into everyone present like a physical shockwave!
Eardrums ruptured!
Their brains felt as if they were being stuffed with countless chaotic images and sounds!
Pain, fear, despair, anger—all negative emotions flooded into their consciousness like a tsunami!
That was a Spirit attack!
A terrifying impact acting directly upon the soul!
Immediately following, their bodies were violently blown away by that savage air current!
“Ah—!!!”
Screams rose one after another!
Dozens of figures flew backward like ragdolls, smashing through every obstacle in their path and soaring straight out of the building that was on the verge of collapse!
Meanwhile, the pillars and walls supporting the building shattered one by one under the piercing sound waves!
It was teetering!
Finally—
“Rumble—!!!”
The entire building could no longer hold and collapsed with a thunderous roar!
Dust mixed with a pale purple mist soared into the sky, completely burying the figure of the Flesh and Blood Corpse King!
Outside the ruins, the Hunters who had been blown away tumbled onto the ground in a sorry state.
Blood leaked from their ears and noses, their heads throbbed with pain, and their bodies shook uncontrollably.
But no one dared to stop!
“Run! Run fast!”
An SS-Rank Hunter struggled to his feet and fled frantically into the distance!
From the power of that single strike, they could conclude—
This Flesh and Blood Corpse King was simply not something they could handle!
Even if they had gathered dozens of Hunters, even if many among them were SS-Rank!
The strength of this Flesh and Blood Corpse King was definitely comparable to an SSS-Rank Hunter!
Even if there was a gap, it was certainly not much!
This was not at all the creature described by the Japanese survivors as being at the peak of SS-Level Talent Hunters!
This was a terrifying creature capable of challenging SSS-Level Talent Hunters!
Contract it?
One would need the strength and the life to back it up!
Everyone fled in a frenzy, only wishing they had been born with more legs!
Subordinates, teammates, loot—none of it mattered anymore!
They only wanted to leave this place!
Leave the lock-on range of this Flesh and Blood Corpse King!
However—
“Boom—!!!!!!”
An earth-shaking explosion erupted from behind!
The ruins of the collapsed building suddenly burst apart!
Countless pieces of rubble and rebar flew into the air, then rained down frantically.
Amidst the dust, a massive figure rose slowly.
That chaotic and tyrannical aura was completely unleashed at this moment!
As if the fury of countless living beings sought to destroy these Invaders!
Escape!
Escape quickly!
The Hunters didn’t dare look back, running for their lives toward the seaside!
But in the sky, a strange purple light flashed within the Flesh and Blood Corpse King’s double pupils.
The palm patterns on its exoskeleton began to come to life!
The thick arms on its spine and the claws upon them seemed to be grasping at the energy of heaven and earth!
The pale purple mist shrouding Tokyo began to gather frantically around it!
Drawn in by those giant claws!
And then—
Channeled into its body!
The palm patterns on the exoskeleton lit up one by one, flickering with an eerie, bloody purple light!
The Flesh and Blood Corpse King opened its bloody maw and let out a roar toward the sky, mixed with shrill human voices!
The next moment—
The energy within its body surged out frantically through those illuminated palm marks!
Condensing into countless purple energy palms!
Whistling away in all directions!
Those energy palms pierced through buildings and slammed into the ground, exploding! They transformed into a purple energy mist!
Some flew into the sky, passing through the clouds and disappearing into the distance!
The entire ruins of Tokyo felt as if they were being struck simultaneously by countless invisible giant hands!
Heaven and earth lost their color.
Only that eerie purple remained.
Those fleeing Hunters suddenly froze.
They stopped.
Their eyes became hollow.
As if their souls had been snatched away, they stood dazed in place.
Purple light reflected and swirled within their pupils.
The Lament of Annihilation Domain.
The ultimate ability that once belonged to the Ghost Prison was now being displayed once again by this Flesh and Blood Corpse King.
In the distance, atop a tall building on the outskirts of Tokyo.
A petite figure stood there quietly, her crimson eyes watching it all.
Lilith.
The corners of her mouth curled up slightly into an imperceptible arc.
“The Lament of Annihilation Domain…”
she murmured softly.
“It seems the Flesh and Blood Corpse King gained quite a lot from this evolution.”
She paused, the smile in her eyes deepening.
“I just wonder how many of the Ghost Prison’s abilities it actually inherited.”
In the distance, the purple light continued its rampage.
And those Hunters had completely become lambs to the slaughter.
Lilith did not move.
She was waiting.
Waiting for this pet she had raised in the wild to complete the final harvest.
