Chapter 228 Half-Step Third Form

Those lethal rays, enough to kill any carbon-based life form instantly, surged frantically into Lilith’s broken body.

Her tattered dragon wings began to heal, the broken bone blades regrew, and the scorched wing membranes were renewed.

On the wing membranes, those vertical pupils blinded by the nuclear blast reopened one by one.

The scarlet pupils reflected the pitch-black clouds in the sky, as if echoing the countless eyes deep within the cloud layer.

Lilith’s size began to swell.

One hundred eighty meters, two hundred meters, two hundred fifty meters, three hundred meters.

Her body length surpassed three hundred ninety meters, and her wingspan reached five hundred twenty-one meters.

Behind her, dozens of vortex-like holes opened from the gaps in her exoskeleton, and silver-white tentacles stretched out from the holes, extending infinitely.

The sharp Tail Blade at the end pierced the sky, vanishing into the pitch-black clouds.

The clouds churned, and lightning intertwined.

The scarlet lightning drawn by the tentacles conducted downward, surging into Lilith’s body, tempering every inch of her muscle, every bone, and every scale to the limit.

At the same time, the radiation energy was completely absorbed and fused into her body, converted into her own energy!

The Third Form was not yet fully complete, but Lilith already felt an unprecedented power.

She raised her massive head, her four scarlet vertical pupils piercing through the churning clouds to lock onto the white angel in the distance.

At this moment, the angel had spread its twelve pairs of wings, releasing holy light with all its might, attempting to suppress Lilith’s frantically expanding Mad Domain.

White light and scarlet lightning collided, annihilated, and tore at each other at the boundary.

But the holy light was retreating, and the mad blood-red was advancing.

The Mad Domain, bearing the will of Ghost Prison’s [The Lament of Annihilation], was enough to infect any creature and corrode any will.

Lilith grinned.

The tentacles behind her were suddenly pulled from the clouds, dancing wildly behind her like a spread cloak of death.

Her dragon wings flapped, and her massive 390-meter body shot out with such Speed that it tore a black rift in the air.

The angel’s pupils shrank suddenly.

Teleportation!

Its figure vanished into thin air a second before Lilith’s sharp claws fell.

Lilith’s giant claws struck empty air, compressing it to the extreme and exploding into a visible shockwave beneath her talons.

The sea surface below was forced down several meters by the air pressure, and giant waves surged frantically in all directions.

“Running quite fast.”

The smile on Lilith’s lips deepened, her expression becoming even more ferocious.

On her dragon wings, all the vertical pupils opened simultaneously, and Blood Domain Heavenly Net spread frantically in all directions like an invisible giant net centered on her.

The domain covered the sky, the ocean, and every inch of space.

Within a radius of thousands of kilometers, everything was under her control.

“Found you.”

Lilith raised her head, her scarlet eyes looking toward the sea surface hundreds of kilometers away.

There, the angel had just stabilized itself after its life-saving escape, gasping for breath.

A hint of fear flashed in its eyes.

That strike had made it feel the threat of death.

The opponent’s domain could actually erode holy light and even attempt to infect its mind.

Since its birth, it had never encountered such an opponent.

Before it could catch its breath, the sound of air exploding came from behind.

The angel never expected Lilith’s Speed to be so incredible!

*Boom—!!!*

The slender Bone Tail tore through the air, carrying immense force as it whipped fiercely against the angel’s back.

The bone blade sliced through the holy light, the flesh, and the bone, nearly cutting its body in half.

Three of the twelve pairs of wings were broken, and white feathers flew like a blizzard.

The angel’s body, like a cannonball, was whipped down from hundreds of meters in the air, smashing violently into the sea.

A thousand-meter-high wave shot into the sky; the seawater boiled, and steam filled the air.

Deep in the ocean, the angel fell frantically.

It stabilized its form, holy light surging from the broken wounds to repair its shattered internal organs and mend its nearly severed spine.

The pain almost made it lose its mind, but it forced itself to stay calm.

It had to flee, it had to put distance between them, and it had to hold out until its teleportation cooled down.

The angel turned around, holy light exploding behind it to propel its massive body through the deep sea in a frantic escape.

But the water was Lilith’s domain.

A silver-white figure pursued like a ghost, faster and more agile than the angel.

In just dozens of seconds, Lilith had caught up behind it.

Her claws were raised, wreathed in lightning—

The holy light flashed again.

The angel’s figure vanished within the deep sea.

Lilith stopped her pursuit, her scarlet eyes narrowing slightly.

Another teleportation. The distance was further than before, but it was still within her domain.

Before the next teleportation cooled down, it would be enough for her to find the opponent.

The sea surface exploded as the silver-white behemoth leaped out of the water.

Her dragon wings spread, and sonic booms thundered.

Lilith’s Speed climbed again, so fast that the air was burning and space was distorting.

Ahead, the angel had just emerged from teleportation; before it could even get its bearings, a silver-white giant shadow had already loomed over it.

There was no escaping.

A look of determination flashed in the angel’s eyes.

It no longer fled, but turned to face the battle.

Holy light condensed on its claws, the white light like a burning sun as it clawed toward Lilith’s head.

Lilith did not dodge or evade.

Her silver-white dragon claws also reached out, wrapped in scarlet lightning and mixed with black energy absorbed from the nuclear explosion, colliding fiercely with the claw encased in holy light.

*Boom—!!!*

Two diametrically opposed forces collided between the claws, the resulting shockwave sweeping away the clouds for dozens of kilometers around.

Lilith tightly gripped the opponent’s claws, her dragon claws tightening as the Poison Thunder Armor instantly covered her entire body.

Blood-colored thunder and purple-red toxic mist surged frantically into the angel’s arm through the interlocked claws.

The holy light was eroded, the flesh was paralyzed, and the toxin spread along the blood vessels.

The angel struggled frantically, its remaining nine pairs of wings flapping desperately in an attempt to break free.

But Lilith’s claws were like iron pincers, remaining unmoved.

Behind her, dozens of tentacles shot out simultaneously, piercing into the angel’s body like venomous snakes.

Chest, abdomen, shoulder blades, wing roots—every tentacle accurately pierced an energy node.

A violent devouring force surged from the tentacles, frantically extracting energy from every cell in the angel’s body.

The holy light was fading.

The body was shriveling.

life was draining away.

The angel’s struggle grew weaker and weaker, the light in its eyes dimming.

It opened its mouth full of Fangss, wanting to say something, but only a faint wail escaped.

Lilith’s four scarlet vertical pupils looked down from above at this once-arrogant Level Nine Monster.

Behind her, the tentacles piercing the angel’s body were pulsating frantically, continuously channeling the absorbed energy into her own body.

The Third Form finally began its final transformation…
