“There are many people in the supermarket, but please mind your manners.” Looking at the people who squeezed in earlier, Lu Tingshen, for once, lost his temper.

His gaze was sharp, “You make mistakes, and others have to pay the price?”

“I’m… I’m sorry…” The pressure from Lu Tingshen was overwhelming, and his gaze was intimidating.

The few who initially wanted to argue didn’t dare to anymore.

They stuttered their apologies.

“Be more careful in the future.” Lu Tingshen eased up and didn’t bother with them any further.

They bought some items and left the supermarket. Once in the car, Huo Chengying asked again, “Uncle, are you really okay? Maybe we should go to the hospital for a check-up?”

Lu Tingshen patted her head and said softly, “I’m fine now, no need for the hospital. As long as you’re okay.”

“Are you in pain? Is anywhere uncomfortable? Let me check?” Huo Chengying still felt uneasy.

“At first, when it hit, it did hurt a bit. But now, it’s completely okay. Don’t blame yourself.” Lu Tingshen gently flicked her forehead and then started the car.

Watching him quietly, Huo Chengying thought to herself that she should check on him again once they got home.

“Uncle, don’t worry, if you’re hurt, I will take responsibility.”
