Global Awakening:I can summon yandere Queens under my command
Chapter 93: rivers of blood part 1
The enemy’s formation was a chaotic mess, but it was still steadily closing in on the settlement but the girls on the wall offered no further reaction. Only Astra, alongside her pawns, delivered a steady rain of arrows from the other side, cleanly taking down goblins volley by volley. It proved to be a complete headache for the Goblin commanders; they could not maintain their formation properly under such relentless fire. The goblins remained in a chaotic clump, and it was a constant pain in the neck to keep them in line while simultaneously trying to dodge those deadly, whistling arrows. Seeking desperately to preserve their lives in such an awkward, stressful situation, they nevertheless had to keep moving forward, drawing themselves into a tight, suffocatingly compact mass.
?After several minutes of struggling to advance, the goblins were just about ten minutes away from the base of the settlement wall. The girls on the wal could now clearly see the dense, pulsing numbers of the enemy, and the sheer scale of the horde was truly overwhelming. Yet, beneath that terrifying wave, they could also spot a sliver of raw hesitation trembling in the expressions on the Goblin side.
?At that exact moment, Velvet spoke up, breaking the heavy silence. "Okay, now. It seems our guests have finally arrived, so why don’t we welcome them with a move of our own?"
?Velvet turned to look at the girls and added, "As the hosts, I will directly appoint Brenda and Magenta. You two go and welcome our guests. Be sure to hit them harder than they expect."
?Upon receiving the order, Magenta stretched her arms, causing her heavy metal suit to creak softly under the sudden tension. "You don’t have to worry about me," she said, a confident smirk evident in her tone. "I will give them a very warm welcome."
?Brenda simply nodded, letting out a soft, measured sigh. "Okay, let’s not waste time. They are already at our doorstep."
?The two girls walked toward the heavy gate and threw it wide open. Outside, the advancing enemy formation halted for a sharp heartbeat, completely stunned that anyone possessed the sheer audacity to step beyond the safety of the walls and face such a dense, overwhelming horde head-on. Brenda and Magenta looked out at the sea of green skin, but neither flinched in the slightest.
?"Let’s meet on the other side," Magenta said, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Make sure you aren’t late."
?Brenda replied with a dry, steady tone, "You don’t have to worry about me. I’m only worried that you’ll be the slow one lagging behind."
?With those words, both girls activated their titles. Because Magenta possessed a fixed title focused purely on Attack and Defense, she immediately summoned her pawns and Her Aura, which had been at 16 points, instantly surged to 48 points upon activation. Combined with her Harpoons, whose individual Aura stood at 24 points, they directly entered the fray with terrifying momentum.
?Magenta charged headlong toward the densely packed goblins.the goblins seeing a massive humanoid beast over two meters tall, encased in heavy, impenetrable armor and rushing at them like a bellowing locomotive, the frontline goblins utterly froze in sheer terror. Though her pawns were not quite as massive, they still presented an intimidating, towering presence. To make matters infinitely worse, the battleaxe Magenta wielded was larger than the goblins themselves. The front rank began to quietly hesitate; looking down at their feeble wooden spears and comparing them to her towering, apocalyptic appearance, deep despair took hold of their minds instantly.
?Magenta did not care about their terror. She immediately activated her frist skill along with her pawns—heavy Stomp. Just before making contact with the frontline, she slammed her right foot viciously onto the ground. A powerful, causing shockwave traveled rapidly along the earth, ripping straight through the goblin ranks. Between the violently shaking ground and the overwhelming psychological pressure radiating from Magenta and her pawns, the enemy line collapsed immediately. Several goblins even tumbled over each other from the sudden, tremor.
?Without wasting a single second, Magenta bypassed her second skill and began swinging her massive axe wildly. Because the goblins were so short compared to her towering stature, she did not even need to swing in a high arc; she simply swept her weapon horizontally, much like someone efficiently mowing down overgrown grass with a sharp scythe. With every wide swing against the densely compacted mob, thick blood sprayed across the field as goblins were brutally cleaved clean in half. Each strike took down at least five enemies at once. Stealing a swift step forward with every single swing, she continued slaughtering everything in her path she didn’t care if ti was a novice rank or an Intermediate rank she only left a gruesome trail of mangled corpses in her wake.
?Her pawns capitalized on the opened gap, swinging their own heavy axes with chilling, mechanical efficiency. They were a truly terrifying sight to behold. Whenever the cornered goblins attempted to retaliate, their primitive, weak weapons ricocheted harmlessly off the solid steel behemoths as if striking solid mountains. At one point, seeing the enemy clumped far too closely together to swing properly, Magenta simply kicked a goblin like a soccer ball to violently open up space before immediately resuming her relentless, circular swings. She was a true professional in this kind of close-quarters combat—a living meat grinder carving her way deep into the heart of the enemy ranks.
?Because of the plan earlier she did not break straight through to the other side immediately. After diving deep into their lines, she turned sharply to the side and began shredding their vulnerable flanks. The goblins were packed together so tightly that they could barely twitch or move properly. Unlike their previous grueling battle against the black snakeman—where the formation had been meticulously organized with tactical spaces allowing the snakeman to maneuver and coordinate counterattacks—these disorganized goblins were far easier to butcher than Magenta had initially anticipated. She didn’t complain about the heavy energy expenditure, continuing to carve a path of pure, unadulterated blood.
?On the other side, Brenda made full use of her unique title. like Magenta, she boosted Attack and Defense. After summoning her pawns she swapped her usual nimble, swift longsword for a destructive, heavy Great Sword designed explicitly for maximum output power. She charged directly into the massive breach Magenta had already carved out, slaughtering goblins left and right with surgical brutality. Though she was not quite as visually destructive or sprawling as Magenta herself, Brenda was still an unstoppable force of nature in her own right.
?Together, they carved deep paths in contrasting directions, wreaking absolute havoc deep within the goblin ranks. The sheer speed, crushing impact, and non-stop slaughter caused the surrounding goblins to panic wildly. finally realized that the pair were absolute, unstoppable monsters.
?The enemy’s morale—already fragile from Astra’s relentless long-range archery and only forcibly held together by the frantic goblin commanders—showed clear signs of total collapse. The mounting high casualties proved simply too much for their minds to bear. No army in the world could endure being systematically slaughtered like defenseless chickens and dogs without completely breaking. Even elite squads of veteran soldiers would eventually crumble under that kind of psychological pressure, let alone cowardly goblins whose entire survival strategy relied solely on overwhelming strength in numbers.
?The formation began to violently break apart. The ordinary goblins stopped caring entirely about their leaders, who were frantically striking down deserters in vain. To the fleeing goblins, taking a desperate chance against their own brutal leaders still offered a sliver of hope to reach the distant safety of the forest. Facing the armored demons ahead meant certain, immediate death—they would simply be cut in half without offering any resistance whatsoever. Making the only rational choice left to them, the horde scattered in all directions, causing the entire formation to completely crumble.
?As the formation fractured completely, the leaders trying desperately to stabilize it were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer, unstoppable wave of panicking deserters. Suddenly, horns sounded across the forest once more. It was a sharp, rhythmic signal, distinctly different from the first call.
?Hearing that specific tone, the commanders immediately ceased trying to control the chaotic crowd and abandoned the rank-and-file goblins to their fate. For the ordinary goblins, the sound of that horn felt as if they had heard the very gates of heaven calling them home.
?Magenta and Brenda, drenched completely in dark goblin blood from head to toe, suddenly noticed that the enemies directly in front of them had abruptly stopped fighting. Goblins who had moments ago been hesitating between fighting and fleeing instantly turned tail and ran at full speed, leaving the two girls with no immediate opponents. Seeing the total retreat, neither girl pursued them further. They remained stationary right in their current positions, not taking any further aggressive actions.
?With the horns echoing across the clearing, the surviving enemy leaders regrouped. The primary formation that had been moving forward toward the settlement shifted its direction entirely.
?Observing from the wall, Velvet smiled knowingly. The enemy commander had executed a surprisingly sharp, tactical maneuver. Brenda and Magenta stood quietly out in the open, covered in blood and looking like demons straight from the depths of hell.
?After a few minutes the goblin forces completely surrounded the two girls, isolating them completely from one another like two lone, battered islands sitting in the middle of a vast green sea.
?At that exact, chilling moment, another horn sounded from the far side, delivering a final command.
?All at once, the surrounding goblins frantically charged forward at only the two of them.
