Global Dungeon: I Can See the Status Bar
Chapter 647 - 296: Kolantono, Let’s Fight Side by Side_2
Reflecting on Lu Wenwu, he is now at the peak of his power!
Having just returned from the battlefield with the Split Creatures, he looked at the four guys in front of him as if he was simply at home.
He didn’t even move his feet, just stood there waiting for Kolantono to charge at him.
Then, he grabbed the spear thrust by the opponent, snapped it in two, and reversed it to stab the broken spear toward Kolantono’s forehead and heart.
A seemingly illusory armor suddenly appeared on Kolantono’s body, like an armor with metamorphic abilities similar to the Crimson Abyss, which would automatical revert to its original form when its owner was attacked.
However, it was useless!
In front of Lu Wenwu, the top-tier legendary armor was as fragile as a piece of draft paper!
What is the spear tip?
Is it impossible to kill without a spear tip?
Is the spear such an inconvenient weapon?
The broken spear was driven into the armor from top and bottom, puncturing it effortlessly at the moment it solidified.
Kolantono was pierced through on the spot!
A top-tier legendary weapon was casually snapped in half!
A top-tier legendary armor provided no protection in front of this broken weapon, quickly and cleanly destroyed!
At this moment, the attacks of the other S-tier powerhouses also arrived.
Lu Wenwu simply paid tribute to the Ancient Evil Dian Wei, swinging the fate-uncertain Kolantono as he smashed it towards them.
The momentum whipped the air into a sharp cry.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
The sound of weapons piercing flesh echoed twice.
Probably because Lu Wenwu had already rendered the armor useless, the sword technique released by the second person abruptly tore Kolantono’s body in half!
A large burst of blood and organs burst into the wind, scattering all over the ground.
Without finishing off the one and a half people pierced into each other and blown away, Lu Wenwu exerted power with his left hand, twisted almost one hundred and eighty degrees, then hurled!
That stout leg, taken from an S-Class powerhouse, flew like the sharpest javelin, resembling an arrow shot from a bowstring, with a fearsome whistle as it tore through the air.
The magic system powerhouse turned pale, releasing a silver-glowing space spell with a grimace.
Silent Spellcasting!
Instant cast!
This was at least the work of a Great Mage!
But in the next second, the grimace on this Great Mage’s face suddenly transformed into bewilderment and confusion.
The magic system powerhouse slowly lowered his head, a stout leg had already completely pierced his chest.
The flesh and clothing on the leg had burned away, leaving behind only a charred, resilient femur and a shattered half leg armor.
He couldn’t fathom why his trump card space techniques had failed?
This defied both science and magic!
Until then, the trigger-based magic items and scrolls on his body finally began to take effect, activating a shield symbolizing defense.
It sounds like a hellish joke, but reality is indeed like this.
Trigger-activated items and scrolls require time to come into play.
Lu Wenwu’s femur projection technique was too fast, striking before any defensive measures could activate, and long after the target was already gone.
Absolute violence meets a system biased towards long-range output, demonstrating the ultimate unruliness.
Against enemies with thin skin and soft insides, he was a professional.
Without even looking at the magic system powerhouse who died with a face full of confusion and reluctance, Lu Wenwu slightly shifted his head to avoid a string of continuous arrows.
With a step forward, one space flash brought him in front of the last person.
This was a strong man wielding a human-sized bow able to release a mysterious light arrow, as powerful as an intercontinental missile.
It is said that archers have always been superior since ancient times.
But in front of Lu Wenwu, everything was mere illusion.
Before his opponent could react, his attack was already there.
Lu Wenwu swung Kolantono’s last leg like a mourning stick, putting in all his strength to slam it down brutally.
Surprisingly, this bowman was actually the most capable among them.
He used some skill to swiftly distance himself from Lu Wenwu, dodging to the left and narrowly escaping the attack.
A massive boom resonated, shaking the entire Death Arena.
Kolantono’s last leg could not withstand such level of violent slamming, suddenly exploding into a mess of flesh and bone, mixed with armor fragments, flying in all directions.
Unfortunately, while the bowman barely dodged, his weapon did not.
The bow was snatched into Lu Wenwu’s hands.
And then, in extreme violence, he swung backhandedly!
"Thud!"
The bow, like the toughest long whip, bent violently under this terrifying power, appearing like a celestial ribbon.
The bent longbow burned with Purgatory Dragon Flame, with a scream of impending death, shattering the bowman’s head along with his armor!
Red, white, and black scattered abruptly on the ground.
A headless corpse, under the influence of skill and power, flew backward, its life force extinguished in an instant.
Only now did a loud boom finally sound.
"Boom!"
That was the sound of half a Kolantono crashing into the Death Arena’s barrier with the remaining swordsman.
A layer of indistinct flesh spread evenly on the barrier, slowly sliding down due to Lord Niu’s discovery of gravity.
"Huh?"
Lu Wenwu intriguingly hummed, raising his leg once more, his figure already flashing before that pool of flesh.
The second unfortunate attacker, having been stabbed through the brain by the spear on Kolantono’s head, was similar to an assassin-type Transcendent without powerful armor protection, and had died on the spot.
This also explains why his body exploded upon colliding with the barrier, splattering across the entire wall.
Without the amplification of internal power, his physical strength was not high.
However, what intrigued Lu Wenwu was not this.
It was mainly because he discovered that the Kolantono fighting alongside him was not dead yet!
A glowing talisman floated midair, with pale red flames beneath, slowly burning most of it.
At the center of that pool of flesh, though Kolantono was still alive, his upper body bones were at least half shattered.
His internal organs and vital systems were mostly ruptured except for the brain barely functioning, even the heart was fragmented.
Remarkably, he miraculously retained most of one lung!
This allowed him to cling to life through strong S-tier peak Life Energy, even managing to make some sounds.
Well...maybe it was partly because of that talisman, who can say for sure.
Inhalation far exceeded exhalation, Kolantono couldn’t speak anymore, only spewing massive amounts of blood and organ fragments upon opening his mouth.
Yet his hateful gaze remained, seemingly wanting to devour and dismember Lu Wenwu.
Coming to him, Lu Wenwu regretfully shook his head: "You see, we cooperated so well just now while fighting side by side, I don’t understand why you keep looking at me with such hatred. I thought we were friends..."
Before finishing his words, Kolantono’s eyes widened, struggling abruptly.
Gargling roars emanated from his throat, mixed with spewed flesh and blood.
Though hard to hear, from his lip movements and the story’s background, Lu Wenwu easily discerned the F-starting, U-ending seven-letter phrase he likely uttered.
"Alright, alright, I know you don’t say it, but deep down you’re overjoyed." Lu Wenwu chuckled, "Knowing you worry about me, no worries, you can rest easy. If you still have a soul reaching the Netherworld, I will put in a word to get you a spot in the Eternal Hell."
Afterward, his gold-glowing fist descended.
Kolantono’s resentment and fury exploded along with him, utterly dissipating his soul.
