Global Dungeon: I Can See the Status Bar
Chapter 764 350: Do Resurrected Gods Get Hemorrhoids? (Part 2)
"Stop right there, this has nothing to do with me."
Lu Wenwu slightly pinched the blood bracelet on his wrist.
A distinct creaking sound was heard, and Blood Demon Bula immediately stopped his rambling, suddenly breaking out in a cold sweat—if Blood Demons were even capable of sweating, as legend suggests.
Since arriving in the Divine Country, he had become slightly carried away, nearly forgetting the kind of Power this master possesses.
Not much to say if someone's capable of smashing even the second or third leaders of the Light Faction.
Even if the God of Blood and Night has returned from the long river of history, he might have to accompany them with a forced smile, just like me.
Blood Demon Bula didn't think even for a moment that his thoughts were disrespectful to his own God.
Followers resemble their God, and Gods more like their followers, isn't that reasonable?
What kind of noble spirit can a deity, primarily worshipped by a cult of thieves, be shaped into?
Lu Wenwu lifted his leg and stepped into the rather eerie and terrifying Shadow Castle, as if fully entering a World of darkness.
At the end of his gaze, an abnormally tall silhouette sat quietly on a massive throne forged entirely from blood-red skulls, continuously emanating an aura of pitch-black darkness.
Upon closer look, it wasn't actually Light.
It was a pair of bat-like wings composed of some black substance.
This towering Giant had a remarkably upright posture, clad in an elegant black suit.
Supporting his chin with his right hand and holding a wine glass filled with crimson liquid in his left, he lounged lazily on his Blood Throne with his legs crossed.
The deathly pale skin, paired with an impeccably handsome yet sinister face, slightly mitigated the overwhelming aura from his massive presence.
Yet those blood-red eyes, akin to a blood moon, made one feel increasingly chilled and awed.
Damn!
In an instant, Lu Wenwu matched the appearance of the being before him with the scriptures from the Blood Bible in his mind.
It was undoubtedly the God of Blood and Night!
However, compared to the form described in the Dragon God's accounts, the current appearance had twisted from a pure human form into something resembling a Vampire, akin to a Western Bat Spirit.
"My... my lord..."
Blood Demon Bula's voice trembled with excitement, instantly reverting to his original form, prostrating humbly before the God of Blood and Night.
Lu Wenwu continued to scrutinize the God before him as well as the internal structure of the Shadow Treasure, his expression extremely complex.
It wasn't that the deity's aura was lacking.
The issue, rather... was that the internal setting made it incredibly difficult to maintain one's composure.
The God of Blood and Night sat there atop his Blood Throne, a mere few feet away, as still as a sculpture.
Besides a throne, the entire interior of the Shadow Castle was utterly barren!
Forget about decoration or furniture; the place didn't even have multiple floors!
In other words, the imposing and intricate-looking exterior of the Shadow Castle was simply an empty shell without any floors inside!
A shell as empty as a coffin!
Given the size of the God of Blood and Night, he couldn't even lay flat inside!
Standing up would likely mean breaking through the ceiling.
Seeing this scene, it was truly difficult for Lu Wenwu to maintain composure.
Honestly, even the Buddhist Temples or Daoist Monasteries from Blue Star's past were more grandiose than this...
On second thought, Lu Wenwu realized it wasn't fair to blame the God of Blood and Night personally.
After all, a Divine Country grows to resemble its followers.
And his followers... well, it wasn't that Lu Wenwu was class discriminating, but considering the general education level across the Gods Continent, it was a commendable feat for a group of illiterate thieves to even imagine the Shadow Castle's outside to look this intimidating.
Their cultural acumen was too inadequate to design a more ornate and detailed depiction.
Who in their right mind with such abilities would choose thievery as a career, really?
This profession didn't even have a coherent path of Inheritance, it was hardly promising.
The Shadow Castle's exterior passed muster, but as for the interior...
One could only call it the aesthetic of a domineering CEO novel.
Of course, it's mighty impressive inside the Divine Country.
In what specific way?
Who knows.
The main thing is that a god resides within, and just recognizing its prowess suffices.
Lu Wenwu's drifting thoughts were quickly pulled back to reality.
Mainly by the slightly irritating Blood Demon Bula.
Ever since entering here and decisively kneeling, this guy had been persistently whispering to his "Lord."
Lu Wenwu looked up to meet the gaze of the deity before him.
With the Eye of Analysis, he observed the god's moon-like crimson eyes, an expression of regret on his face.
"Bula, enough murmuring."
Blood Demon Bula was visibly reluctant.
But under the oppressive aura of Master Wu, he quickly submitted, showing a distinct look of remorse and frustration.
After all...
Submitting was one thing, but losing face in front of one's God was another.
However, Blood Demon Bula's mood quickly improved.
Because Lu Wenwu spoke again: "The God of Blood and Night has not fully awakened; it is merely a statue constituted by Divine Power and Law, not the real deity."
As he spoke, he looked beyond the God of Blood and Night.
In the same darkness, countless strands of Negative Power converged from all directions, pouring into the deity's *Body* in a way entirely invisible to the naked eye, gently pushing against something.
Lu Wenwu could distinctly feel that an intent wholly carrying Law and a Divine Position was about to take shape, soon to take over the *Body*.
Moreover, the corruption and assimilation effects he had once seen in the God of Justice and Judgment had intensified to a nearly tangible level.
If Blood Demon Bula were merely a lone *Soul*, his fate would have matched those followers within the Holy City of Light.
Either killed by seeping Negative Power or completely assimilated by the authority of the Divine Position, becoming Living Dead, a part of Law and God.
Blood Demon Bula clearly had no knowledge of this.
His heart overflowed with excitement, anticipating the awakening of the God of Blood and Night.
When he first arrived here, he hadn't dared even enter the Shadow Castle's gates and had only managed to become like this, returning to the Human World lost and confused.
As a believer, who wouldn't wish to see their fervently worshipped deity in person and exchange some words?
"Ma... Master Wu, dare I ask how long until our Lord awakens?"
Blood Demon Bula's voice quivered with excitement, his *Body* wavering unsteadily, flashing like a railroad warning light.
"By my guess, less than a week."
Lu Wenwu did not suppress his aura, causing his knotted muscles to rise under his skin, faintly emitting a red vapor.
A vast, ocean-like aura burst forth, roaring rampantly within the Shadow Castle.
Ever since his breakthrough, Lu Wenwu's Power had become so immense, unreachable for someone of Blood Demon Bula's caliber.
Even his mere presence exerted a spiritual pressure that pinned him to the ground.
Besides terror and trembling, there was nothing he could do.
Suddenly, recollections from Lu Wenwu's actions at the Holy City of Light spiraled in Blood Demon Bula's mind, giving rise to an ominously bad premonition.
Lying there, horrified, he abruptly yelled, "Ma... Master Wu! You're not going to try... try attacking our Lord, are you?!"
Before the words fell, a thunderous explosion was heard.
Lu Wenwu's body rocketed upward like a missile, leaving a gigantic shattered pit where he once stood.
Expressionless, he punched towards the statue-like God of Blood and Night, True Meaning of Martial Arts bursting forth behind him, a brilliant Merit Golden Sun rose, illuminating the entire shadowy *Space* of the Shadow Castle.
"You guessed it, but there's no prize."
The Great Sun Tyrant Fist, enhanced by the Demon God Battle Lance, pounded fiercely upon the head of the divine statue.
"Boom!"
Amidst the intense bang, the towering Shadow Castle disintegrated.
The Blood and Dark Night Divine Kingdom stood on the brink of collapse!
