At Wang Jun’s words, Qin Haonan paused for a moment, then immediately began reeling in the cable to pull the small boat back.

Meanwhile, the speedboat that had just appeared was racing toward him at full speed.

Just then, Ren Yuanyang’s voice came through the phone. "If they show no sign of leaving, attack immediately!"

"Yes!" Qin Haonan replied. He immediately grabbed several Sound Boxes, crouched down, and crept out.

The other boat remained in the same spot, not moving an inch.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Qin Haonan snapped the stem off a Sound Box and hurled it toward the other speedboat.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! ℴ

He threw three in quick succession. Suddenly, several gun barrels appeared on the other speedboat and began strafing Qin Haonan’s vessel.

The Peach Blossom Base speedboat was reinforced with a layer of metal plating, so the rifle fire couldn’t damage it at all.

The two Evolvers immediately ducked down, shouting at their driver to get them out of there.

Through the observation slit, Qin Haonan saw the other speedboat retreating. He scoffed, ’Is that all? And they thought they could rob me?’

Just then, another speedboat appeared in the distance. Qin Haonan immediately ducked back into the cabin and asked Wang Jun, "Don’t tell me this isn’t your team either, is it?"

"This one should be us. Our team has reached the rendezvous point," Wang Jun replied. "I’ll have them sound their horn: one long blast, one short."

The approaching speedboat immediately sounded its horn—one long blast and one short, exactly as Wang Jun had said.

"Okay, tell them to wait a moment. I’m putting the medicine on the small boat now," Qin Haonan replied. He then released the cable and moved away from the smaller vessel.

The crew that had come for the trade were familiar faces; they knew the procedure.

Seeing that Qin Haonan had moved away from the small boat, they slowly approached it.

After retrieving the medicine from the small boat, a specialist on their team ran a quick analysis. Once they confirmed everything was in order, they began loading the seeds onto the small boat.

Once they were done, they gave Qin Haonan a hand signal. He immediately reeled the small boat back in and transferred all the seeds to his speedboat.

Finally, he hoisted the small boat out of the water and secured it to the stern of his speedboat.

"Pleasure doing business with you." Wang Jun messaged Qin Haonan as soon as he got word from his men that the trade was complete.

"The pleasure is always mine," Qin Haonan replied with a smile.

"By the way, what was the deal with that other speedboat earlier?" Wang Jun asked, his tone concerned. "My team said they didn’t see another boat when they got there."

"I’d already chased them off by the time you arrived," Qin Haonan replied.

"Did they identify themselves?" Wang Jun pressed.

Qin Haonan shook his head. "No, but the two Evolvers who showed up on that speedboat definitely weren’t Dragon Country People. I couldn’t understand a word they were saying, but I definitely understood the ’fuck’ at the beginning."

"Evolvers? How did you know they were Evolvers?" Wang Jun paused, his curiosity piqued.

"At the critical moment, they conjured a metal plate out of thin air for defense," Qin Haonan replied.

Wang Jun nodded. "I see."

"If there’s nothing else, I’m heading back," Qin Haonan said, ending the conversation.

"Alright," Wang Jun replied. "Smooth sailing on your way back."

"You too," Qin Haonan replied, then immediately piloted the speedboat into the distance.

"Those seeds are extremely important. Come straight back this time. Don’t go to any other Second-level Wind Sea Regions," Ren Yuanyang instructed.

"Understood. I’ll take a slight detour, then I’ll head back," Qin Haonan replied.

Ren Yuanyang put down his phone, his brow furrowed. "Things are certainly getting busy around here."

"Yes. Our region has a high average elevation, and with the World’s Roof right here, it attracts a lot of other countries," Lu Jiamei said with a hint of resignation.
