Wang Jun was direct. "Our three carrier fleets don’t have that many seeds on hand, but we do have access to a National Seed Bank. We hadn’t touched it for our previous trades, not until this one."

"I understand. Thank you, Captain Wang, for opening up the seed bank." Ren Yuanyang completely understood their reasoning.

"Opening up the seed bank isn’t a decision I can make alone. It requires the unanimous agreement of all three captains," Wang Jun said, shaking his head.

"Understood. Please pass on my thanks," Ren Yuanyang continued. "Besides seeds, you must have quite a few animals, right? If possible, we’d like to get a few of each, including poultry and livestock."

Wang Jun was taken aback by Ren Yuanyang’s reply.

’It’s understandable that Peach Blossom Base wants poultry and livestock, but what do they need other animals for?’

’Have things not gotten bad enough? Are they really still after wild game?’

Wang Jun frowned slightly. "What do you want those animals for?"
