Chapter 1022: Foreign Religion (2)
This world indeed has seen some changes compared to that time; at least you wouldn’t see such strange large fish in the sea previously, their shapes distorted, mostly in normal forms. At best, there were creatures like the legendary Sea Lion.
Gradually.
Faith approached him from all directions, like wandering children in this world suddenly finding their master.
The All Beings Sect has developed to a certain scale in this world, surpassing his expectations.
Moreover, two different types of faith have appeared: one seemingly different from the All Beings Sect, yet equally worshiping him and continually generating faith, directing it towards him.
The other faith feels completely different from the All Beings Sect, chaotic and insane, with an immensely blind worship.
“Could it be some sort of internal division?” Su Changxing speculated that this new sect probably split off from the All Beings Sect, otherwise it couldn’t be directed towards worshiping him.
It’s hard to imagine what exactly happened after his departure, with the All Beings Sect developed to such an extent in this world, and further classified into two different sects.
With the deepening of faith, Su Changxing established contact with Mike.
He’s still as he was.
His pitch-black face full of wrinkles yet not appearing aged, rather vigorous and strong; time seems to have stopped on his face, likely due to the divine position, allowing him to break free from the constraints of this world.
Mike sat quietly in the grand and bright cathedral, seemingly in deep thought. Suddenly sensing that hint of connection, his expression lightly changed, instantly standing up and kneeling before the idol.
He had always been waiting for this moment, waiting for the response of his master; the time seemed a bit long.
“Master, is there any instruction? As your servant, I await your command at all times.”
Su Changxing perceived that Mike’s power had transformed tremendously as well, relying on the faith of the All Beings Sect in this world; the divine position had reached Tier Five, making him akin to a humanoid Gundam, capable of tearing apart Rune Warriors with his bare hands.
“Talk about the current state of the All Beings Sect. Have you divided? I perceive two different faiths.”
The voice from the edge of the stars blew towards Mike, feeling quite distant, transmitted only through faith, allowing him to hear it.
Mike’s face sank, then quickly said, “I thought this was your command. A Temple Knight named Adis claimed to have followed your directive and established the Foreign Religion. We are the Orthodox, while Adis leads the Foreign Religion. Due to not receiving your command, I’ve been cautious not to act rashly.”
“Though the actions of the Foreign Religion violate the principles of the All Beings Sect, we haven’t clashed; the Orthodox remains firm in the Wodan Empire, while the Foreign Religion ventures outside for bloody conquests.”
Adis was able to lead the believers of the All Beings Sect to establish the Foreign Religion because most people acknowledged that he indeed received the master’s directive.
The master’s directive outweighs everything, including the doctrines.
Su Changxing felt a sense of doubt; since leaving, he hadn’t grasped the world situation, judging the development of the All Beings Sect by the amount of faith.
However, according to Mike’s meaning, the emergence of the Foreign Religion seemed caused by his directive.
This is extremely peculiar; someone impersonated him, intervening in the development of the All Beings Sect.
Yet that person didn’t seem to extract faith, with the faith’s target still being him, only altering its nature to a certain extent.
The Divine Spirit can influence believers, and believers can reciprocally influence the Divine Spirit to some extent. If a large number of believers are in a state of madness and distortion, then as a Divine Spirit he would inevitably be affected.
Perception spread along faith; the All Beings Sect’s faith almost covered half of the Wodan Empire.
Followed by.
He saw a battlefield, a chaotic fight among thousands. One side wore gray church clothes, similar in style to the All Beings Sect’s attire, only in gray, members of the Foreign Religion of the All Beings Sect.
The other side wore Black Iron Masks and chain armor, the church’s army with different insignia on their clothes, looking like a coalition army of different churches.
The two sides engaged in a fierce battle, with overall strength quite equal, neither willing to retreat, forcefully reducing thousands to hundreds; bodies piled on the small battlefield.
By this time, the will and fighting spirit of both sides hit the limit, yet neither retreated.
The church army shouted, “For Yeman!”
Their morale soared again, some incomplete bodies dragged themselves from the ground and continued their assault, even willing to bite off a piece of flesh.
This might be a kind of foolish obedience, surrendering body and soul to the Divine Spirit.
Su Changxing naturally couldn’t watch as the All Beings Sect’s believers lost; descending blessings through faith, hugely enhancing their combat effectiveness in a short time.
[Resolute: Blessing, granting unyielding courage, greatly enhancing physical strength, and immunity from one fatal injury.]
The tide of battle reversed in an instant, the All Beings Sect’s side, with the blessing’s aid, elevated their combat ability, swiftly defeating the church army.
The external sect of the All Beings Sect is engaging in large-scale warfare with the church’s coalition army, spreading from the Mediterranean Sea to the Eastern Continent, where the territories of the Wodan Empire and Gangze Empire border each other, forming a clear boundary. An expanse of desert separates them, with almost no connection, both in isolation.
