"Follow me, the spatial rift here is quite dangerous."

"Oh."

Su Changxing walked ahead, eight dark eyes opening on his face, observing the surrounding space.

Jin followed behind, enthusiastically looking around with great interest, as if everything here was new and unseen before.

"So in other words, we can travel to other worlds in this manner." Jin said thoughtfully.

Su Changxing nodded: "More or less, but it’s difficult to identify defenses."

They were moving against the current in a space constructed by the World of Heaven, a very risky endeavor. Without a proper method to navigate such channels, spatial rifts could easily cut them to pieces.

Fortunately, Su Changxing had experience with this, using the Eight-Eyed Abyss Eye to analyze the structure inside the channel and the locations of the spatial rifts, thus avoiding them ahead of time.

This was similar to what he did in the Ninth Dimension, even the channel constructed by the World of Heaven was somewhat alike, using the same technique.

"They’re surely waiting for us outside. I’ll go out first, when I tell you to come out, you come out."

Su Changxing turned to look at Jin, tapping her forehead with his finger, speaking seriously.

Jin was not afraid of death, which allowed her to follow fearlessly. If even death wasn’t scary for her, then very few things could possibly be, although they exist.

Jin reluctantly nodded, showing an expression of helplessness: "Got it. Wait for you to go out and deal with them, then I’ll come out."

Though said easily, it was extraordinarily difficult to accomplish.

Outside the channel awaited an entire world.

An extraordinary world with rich foundations.

Su Changxing wasn’t too worried, staying within the Blue Star, instead felt a sense of being shackled, as if in a cage.

Looking all around, whether it’s the sky or the ground, left or right, it’s an endless abyss-like, starry sky.

This was the space’s gaps, reflecting the boundless starry sky.

Step by step forward, Su Changxing’s aura rose dramatically; after killing that little boy, the task to resist the World of Heaven’s invasion was settled.

[Position being analyzed...]

He could probably advance using the Doomsday Game, just a small step away from progressing, thus such rewards were issued by the Doomsday Game.

The tiers from low to high for an Extraordinary were not about strength, but rather their standing within the rules; the higher one’s standing, the more rules they could wield.

Tier Five Extraordinary could likely master and understand rules, forming complete domains.

This significantly elevated their combat power compared to Extraordinary below Tier Five.

In a daze, Su Changxing saw that world filled with zombies, decayed houses, dilapidated streets, under the Dusk, only silence remained.

This place he had visited, likely a street in the Zombie World, yet now appearing even more ruined.

Buildings slanted and collapsed, cement crumbling, exposing steel rods.

Weeds grew wildly on the streets, large areas covered by vegetation, besides zombies, some unidentified creatures roamed amidst them.

He felt like a zombie, wandering the streets, feeling thirsty, craving blood, constantly searching for a target, seeking the wonderful scent floating in the air.

With a spine-chilling scream, the entire street of zombies became agitated, surging towards the source of the sound.

Su Changxing also ran toward that direction, following his body’s will, roaring with other zombies, spotting two backpack-wearing humans, a man and a woman, in the high-rise ruins.

The woman clawed at the edge of the wall, seemingly about to fall, struggling endlessly, while the man beside her coldly watched, reaching to grab her backpack.

"I originally didn’t want to kill you, but I need this thing. Sorry, Xiaolan."

A glint of ruthlessness flashed on the man’s face, kicking fiercely at the woman’s body, but due to the backpack, she didn’t fall, instead struggling mid-air, gripping the backpack tightly.

"Even if I die, you won’t get the thing. I never expected you were this kind of person, I was wrong about you."

The man shook his head, muttering to himself: "Fool."

Then, delivering a stronger kick to the woman’s shoulder, causing the backpack’s strap to break.

Yet at the moment of falling, she suddenly grabbed the backpack’s opening, descending downwards.

In such circumstances, the man had no choice but to let go, otherwise he’d be dragged down with the backpack by the woman, cursing viciously: "Damn woman, disturbing even in death."

He watched the zombies below, frowned slightly, and had to wait above, until the zombies devoured the woman’s corpse, dispersing likely, then he could go down to retrieve the items in the backpack.

Su Changxing watched the woman being kicked down to the ground by the man, not dead yet, screamed miserably as she was torn limb by limb by other companions.

He didn’t feel much emotion, merely thinking that human treachery had never disappeared, possibly stemming from humanity’s complex and petty feelings.

He restrained his body’s urges, refrained from devouring the corpse, knowing that these zombies didn’t need to eat nor replenish energy this way.

This was merely an urge, akin to smoking or drug addiction being unnecessary, but driven by pitiful desires.

On the contrary.

His curiosity was piqued about what might be inside the backpack; these people were likely thrown here by the Doomsday Game, possibly a mysterious item.

He approached the woman, squeezing in, her body already unrecognizable from being devoured by "companions," reaching to pick up the backpack beside the corpse.

It was a brown backpack, soaked in blood, the strap broken, yet the bag itself was of good quality; even falling from such height, it bore no obvious tears.

Picking up the backpack, he didn’t check its contents, instead turned and walked away.

A zombie rummaging through a backpack seemed too bizarre, although his actions at present were already quite bizarre.

He saw the man above was likely an Extraordinary, probably Tier Nine, though he was now just an ordinary zombie, perhaps weaker than any ordinary person wielding a weapon.

Thus survival was paramount, even as a zombie, survival mattered most.

Carrying the backpack, Su Changxing dashed away like a thief, surprising the man above, noting the odd behavior of this zombie.

"What’s up with that zombie?"

The man was dumbfounded, unexpectedly witnessing such an occurrence, wanting to pursue, but the throng of zombies below stalled him, forcing him to memorize Su Changxing’s features: a zombie dressed in a gray jacket and wearing a baseball cap.

The baseball cap wasn’t on Su Changxing’s head, rather a sizable hole allowed it to hang around his neck.

...

Su Changxing’s eyes flickered with dark light, reminiscent of endless starlight, displaying a hint of perplexity.

The position he advanced to was quite unique, even he didn’t expect such a result.

[Two-Faced Immortal: Tier Five, one body splits into two, with one being a zombie clone, clone is immortal, main body indestructible, can draw power from the clone, the stronger the clone, the stronger the main body.

Corpse Transformation: Can temporarily convert oneself into a zombie, and not be affected by assimilative powers.

Assimilation: Can use a deep black death aura to influence other creatures, turning them into zombie-like beings.

Life Link: Clone’s death inflicts a certain degree of damage on the main body.

Clone Assimilation: Can assimilate a certain zombie-type creature as a clone, only one clone can exist at a time. This ability can only be activated once in a short period, and it requires a substantial expenditure of life energy.]
