A man wearing a white safety helmet disappeared on the street in front of the coffee shop, just vanished into thin air.

Su Changxing knew that it was the precise location of the Mysterious Shop. Like last time, only one person could enter.

Less than two minutes later, the man with the white safety helmet reappeared on the street in front of the coffee shop, with a silver-white machete in his hand, and his backpack looked full, indicating he had exchanged for a lot of items.

"Too late."

Su Changxing shook his head and remarked.

As these people were about to leave, the zombie horde that had left returned once more.

Even more despairing was.

A black figure sprinted towards them from the other end of the street, faster than the other zombies.

That was likely an Extraordinary Zombie comparable to a Tier Nine Extraordinary, but unlike an Extraordinary, their changes compared to ordinary zombies were mostly physical, such as becoming taller, having harder skin, or moving more swiftly and more nimbly.

These large-sized Extraordinary Zombies looked tough to deal with, but those without significant physical changes yet moving faster posed the greatest threat to ordinary people.

These ten or so people might not be enough to handle this one zombie.

"Bad luck, why did we run into this thing?" The man with the white safety helmet noticed the zombie rushing towards them.

"Split up and run, Xiaohai and you five take the street on the left."

As he spoke, he pulled out a black net gun from his backpack and fired it at the quickly approaching zombie.

A large net shot out. The zombie saw the net coming but didn’t dodge, got caught in the net, and its speed suddenly slowed down.

"It’s caught in the net, let’s run quickly."

The ten or so people split into two groups and ran in two directions, trying to divert the Extraordinary Zombie’s attention.

Not two seconds passed.

The zombie cut through the net covering it with its sharp claws, sped up again, and charged towards the group ahead.

The slowest person felt the running sound from behind, turned to look, and saw the zombie right behind. When he swung the iron rod in his hand, hitting the zombie’s chest, it made a dull sound.

Unfortunately, his strength was no match for the zombie. He was immediately knocked to the ground, the sharp claws piercing through his left shoulder. The severe pain nearly rendered him incapacitated, and he was soon bitten on the neck, causing a torrent of blood to gush out.

"Damn you."

The man with the white safety helmet saw his companion fall and was infuriated. He lifted the silver-white machete in his hand and slashed at the zombie.

Obviously, his strength and speed were stronger than the others, having been enhanced, and the silver-white machete was not ordinary, being exceptionally sharp.

The man actually managed to sever the left arm of the Extraordinary Zombie with the silver-white machete.

Black blood gushed from the severed arm of the zombie, emitting a foul stench.

Attacked, the zombie abruptly changed its target, not significantly affected by the loss of the arm, pounced towards the man with the white helmet with a leap.

After swinging a strike, the man was in a state of exhaustion, unable to react when he saw the zombie pouncing at him.

With the sound of tearing flesh, the zombie’s claws penetrated his chest, right where his heart was.

The Extraordinary Zombie didn’t initially know human weaknesses, but after hunting down a number of humans, it learned which areas to attack to quickly disable them.

"Run, don’t worry about me."

The man shouted. Although his heart was pierced, he didn’t die immediately. Instead, he used both hands to tightly restrain the zombie, buying time for the others to escape.

The Extraordinary Zombie, uninterested in the others, was eager to enjoy the meal before it, biting the man’s head into pieces, making a crisp bone-breaking sound.

Even zombies knew fresh food was the best, most vibrant, and energy-rich, making them stronger.

Su Changxing watched the corpse being devoured on the distant street, his eyes gleaming in the faint moonlight. He knew the machete likely came from the Mysterious Shop’s Mysterious Item.

Humans could use it, so could he.

If he could obtain it, it would undoubtedly boost his combat ability and provide more means of self-preservation.

The Extraordinary Zombie probably wouldn’t care for the machete, considering its claws were far more useful.

Su Changxing just needed to wait for the Extraordinary Zombie to leave, and then he could retrieve it.

These ordinary zombies posed no threat to him and wouldn’t attack him proactively, but the Extraordinary Zombies were different, with a certain level of intelligence and stronger self-awareness compared to ordinary zombies.

All the others had run out of his sight, whether they escaped or not was unclear to him.

"Probably some could escape, given they were prepared."

Su Changxing pondered, feeling parched, and chewed another piece of dried meat to significantly reduce his craving for fresh blood and flesh.
