Global Lords: I Have Information System
Chapter 1027 - 573: Iron Hand Bucklon, Points Exchange Begins!
[The Heat Wave Challenge has been open for 36 hours, with a temporary points exchange mall now available]
[Duration: sixty minutes]
[After the announcement ends, each Lord will not receive a 15-minute exclusive point exchange period due to Time Stop]
This time the announcement was very brief.
Once the text slowly faded, Zong Shen immediately opened the option for [Heat Wave Points].
Every Lord was already very familiar with this process.
Especially for Zong Shen, he naturally didn’t want to waste any time, as he had over a million Challenge Points at hand.
This exchange offered a 15-minute Time Stop exchange and a 45-minute ordinary exchange period.
He was even somewhat worried that he might not be able to exchange all his Challenge Points within the total 60-minute timeframe.
But that’s okay, he could use the remaining points during the final exchange when the challenge ends.
From past experiences, the exchange at the end of the challenge usually lasts quite a while.
In any case, the points won’t be wasted.
However, he planned to spend as many points as possible in this round of exchanges.
Only after the exchange was complete could he turn the points into tangible items.
Otherwise, those points would always just be a string of numbers next to the [Points Balance].
For the development of the territory, any of the items he redeemed could be put to good use.
Zong Shen found the newly appeared [Points Exchange] sub-option under [Heat Wave Points].
It seemed like the [Points Exchange] for each challenge was different.
Zong Shen was also unsure what kind of exchange categories would appear this time.
With a slightly apprehensive mind, Zong Shen opened the [Points Exchange] option.
The screen flickered, revealing four major exchange categories.
They were: [Resource Materials], [Building Blueprint], [Support Items], [Points Lottery]
The first exchange option [Resource Materials] needs no explanation; it’s an option that appears in almost every round of point exchange, featuring various basic resources and some advanced resource materials like secret silver, Basic Elemental Crystal, Elemental Rune, and Magic Gemstone.
Zong Shen didn’t lack resources.
So there was no need to spend points on exchanging resources.
Nonetheless, he routinely opened this exchange option to quickly check if there were any rare materials worth exchanging.
Unfortunately, there were still no finds.
This time’s [Resource Materials] still only offered those common basic resources for exchange.
It did not include special magic materials like Time, Space, Frost, Arcane Magic, Thunder Element, or Wind Element.
Zong Shen thought for a moment and then closed the [Resource Materials] exchange option.
Next, he opened [Building Blueprint].
Zong Shen remembered the [Defense Blueprint] exchange option that appeared during the Burrow Challenge.
Back then, he exchanged a large number of Tier Four Defense Towers from the [Defense Blueprint] to establish the territory’s Defense Matrix system.
This time the [Building Blueprint] option seemed to offer more choices.
There were three sub-categories within.
They were: [Basic Blueprint], [Defense Blueprint], [Special Blueprint].
These three categories represented the three types of buildings available for exchange.
Zong Shen first opened the [Basic Blueprint] option.
It offered various common civilian house buildings from Tier One to Tier Five.
Currently, his territory was mostly covered with Tier Four Two-Story Stone Houses.
Tier Five civilian houses were simply larger, taller three-story stone houses.
The structure and main construction resources consumed were much the same.
They just allowed for more population housing.
All the blueprints available for exchange here were complete, so they could be erected directly without consuming any materials or needing any prerequisite buildings, which was quite convenient.
However, the redemption prices weren’t cheap.
They basically included the points for material consumption as well.
Aside from civilian houses, there were also basic building blueprints like slab roads, canals, simple suspension bridges, and Basic and Intermediate Fertile Lands.
Exchanging these basic buildings with points wasn’t very economical.
Take slab roads, for example. Exchanging a section of Tier Five slab road costs 320 points.
Each section of slab road is 8 meters wide × 20 meters long.
Which equates to a wide slab road section.
Tier Five slab roads had a decent Durability Value and longevity.
But the points exchange price was not low either.
At that redemption price, laying a kilometer of Tier Five slab road would cost 16,000 points.
Attempting to lay Tier Five slab roads within the territory would require tens of thousands of points to see any results.
So exchanging these basic buildings simply wasn’t worth it.
Zong Shen reviewed all the basic buildings available for exchange.
Among all basic buildings, only Basic and Intermediate Fertile Lands were worth exchanging with Challenge Points.
The [Basic Fertile Land Construction Blueprint] had an exchange price of 80 points and covered an area of 10m × 10m.
The [Intermediate Fertile Land Construction Blueprint] required 700 points for exchange, covering 30m × 30m.
The latter offered nine times more area, equivalent to 1.35 acres.
In this aspect, it was more economical to exchange for Intermediate Fertile Land.
As a basic building with special bonuses, Intermediate Fertile Land could reduce crop growth time by 45% and also improve crop yield by 10%.
