Phantom was speaking from the center of the conference room.

"The Lord has given his order. Today, we put our heads together and come up with a solution, no matter what."

"If there’s truly no other way, we’ll have to mobilize the territory’s heroes, form an Extraordinary Team, and send them to attack the Titan Clan People."

"The process of creating heroes is still unstable and highly dependent on an individual’s aptitude. We shouldn’t be casually using them as cannon fodder."

After Phantom finished, the room fell silent. They had already discussed this issue yesterday, analyzing every troop type in the territory. The consensus was that anything below Legendary rank was out of the question.

In the triple-gravity zone, anyone below Legendary rank would be able to exert less than thirty percent of their power.

The Death Devourers, however, were largely unaffected. Their stats were higher—five times those of an Excellent-grade unit of the same level.

Of course, five times the stats didn’t simply translate to five times the resistance to pressure.

For instance, Legendary-grade troops have over three times the stats of Excellent-grade ones, but their combat effectiveness still drops in the triple-gravity zone.

Legendary-grade Druids were even used in an experiment in the Titan Clan People’s triple-gravity zone. There, with the exception of Rock Druids in their high-defense beast forms, the movements of all other Druids were somewhat restricted.

Most critically, the Druids’ casting range was drastically reduced, a fatal blow for Elemental Druids and healing-focused Druids.

For the Death Devourers, however, five times the stats was enough for them to maintain their combat effectiveness under triple gravity, as their abilities didn’t rely on elemental manipulation.

In fact, their death and life auras became more condensed under triple gravity, increasing the damage and buffs within their area of effect and significantly strengthening their skill effects.

However, with only two Death Devourers able to be recruited each day, sending such precious units out for simple reconnaissance or to attack the Titan Clan People felt like a gross misallocation of resources—like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. It would be a painful waste.

They might as well just use heroes. After all, the number of new heroes created each day—counting both newborn Elves and those who ascend to the Demon Race by passing the Celestial Tribulation—was greater than two.

"Why don’t we just send in the territory’s heroes?" Dong Lin was the first to break the silence. "We can form them into an elite strike force. I’ll lead the charge. I guarantee I can smash through their city walls. We’ll take their cities, gather intel, and then figure out the rest."

"I agree!" Manqiluo added. "Right now, enemy scouts on our other borders are just getting lost in the Abyss."

"Some of the luckier plants in the Abyss near the border have already evolved."

"We plant-folk are getting pretty bored sitting behind the defensive lines. This is a perfect chance to get active on the Titan Clan People’s turf."

"I agree on behalf of the Elf Race," Chenxi added. "It’s been a while, and we Elves haven’t had a chance to truly contribute."

"The Ox Race agrees!"

"The Tiger Race agrees!"

Soon, all the leaders in the conference room had agreed to the plan.

Seeing that his leaders had settled on a plan to form an elite strike force of heroes, Lin Yu gave his direct approval.

This was opportune. The territory had never mounted such an operation before. In past battles, the heroes had acted more like special-ops soldiers; they had never actually fought together as a large, coordinated force.

It was entirely possible they would face an Extraordinary Territory in the future. In that scenario, ordinary soldiers would likely be useless, forcing them to rely on teams of heroes. Preparing for such a possibility now was a good idea.

Phantom and the other leaders then got busy. While they were sending heroes to attack the Titan Clan People’s lands, they couldn’t send everyone. A portion had to be left behind to defend the territory against any unforeseen events.

The final decision was to dispatch ten thousand heroes for the operation, one thousand of whom would be Legendary. Each Legendary Hero would lead a squad of nine Outstanding-grade heroes.

The army was divided into three corps.

Four thousand heroes would form the Vanguard Army, with Dong Lin as commander and Rose as his second-in-command.

Four thousand heroes would form the main army, following close behind and led by Manqiluo.

Two thousand heroes would form the rear guard, bringing up the rear and providing support, led by Amuti Goodwin.

Before the operation began, the territory first sent in members of the Demon Race whose original forms were small creatures. They were to enter the Titan Clan People’s territory, rendezvous with the scouts already there, and coordinate for the upcoming mission.
