Global Lords: Starting with Female Hero Fusion
Chapter 410 - 302: Four-Way Melee (3)
Huang Bian had been hit by the Taunt Skill. However, his Spiritual Pressure Attribute mitigated the effect. Mid-sentence, he suddenly hesitated. A flash of realization struck him.
"Wait! We’ve been taunted! Quickly, use a Spiritual Technique to dispel it! Stay on high alert and be ready to remove the taunt at any time. Our target is that female giant!"
Another female Beastman Hero instantly dispelled the effect. The Beastmen’s eyes cleared, and they hurriedly readied their second round of javelins.
"Throw! Hurry! Aim for that female giant first! She’s closing in!"
Huang Bian hastily retreated, squeezing his way to the back of the Beastman formation.
SWISH SWISH SWISH!
Hundreds of javelins were finally hurled at Qi Yue.
Qi Yue calmly watched the sky full of javelins and swallowed a Spiritual Power Pill. The corners of her red lips curled up slightly. "Moon Blade Slash!"
WHOOSH!
A pristine white light blade slashed outward. From top to bottom, it was a full four meters long. It looked like a massive crescent moon descending upon the ground, remaining incredibly distinct even under the morning sun.
SWISH!
The Moon Blade roared forward. Dirt flew into the air, and a cloud of dust billowed as the attack plowed a deep trench into the earth.
SQUELCH!
The Tier Two Beastman at the very front was cleaved in two, splitting into left and right halves that sprayed blood everywhere.
"Continuous Dance! Continuous Dance!!"
Three of Qi Yue’s massive arms slashed at flying speed.
WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!
Giant light blades materialized in dense, overlapping batches.
SWISH SWISH SWISH!!!
Dozens of Moon Blade Slashes whipped up fierce gales. Sand and gravel tumbled through the thickly clouded air as the blades surged forward, carried by the wind.
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
The Moonlight Blade Array violently clashed with the Javelin Array. Silver light instantly exploded outward, accompanied by the shrieking wails of metal from every direction. The javelins in the sky were blown to pieces, turning into scraps of useless iron that plummeted deep into the mud.
The Javelin Array vanished. The Moonlight Array remained.
The Beastmen only saw a blinding flash of white light. A few agonizing screams echoed for a fleeting second before falling silent. Blood and chunks of flesh flew wildly through the air. The Beastmen were nowhere to be seen. Or rather... not a single Beastman was left standing.
The Beastman frontline was an absolute mess. The sand and dirt that had been blasted into the sky rained down. The air was choking, thick with swirling dust.
The formation of 415 Beastmen had completely collapsed. Its center had been entirely wiped out, leaving behind nothing but damp soil mixed with blood and gore. Massive blade trenches scarred the ground. Blood seeped from the scattered chunks of flesh into these trenches, only to be quickly absorbed by the surrounding dirt, turning it into a deep, crimson muck.
The Beastmen on the flanks of the formation were still alive. They lay flat in the loose dirt, hiding beneath their shields, not daring to move a muscle. A few Tier Three Beastmen had miraculously survived in the middle; they initially wanted to flee, but upon seeing the towering Qi Yue, they lost all courage to run.
Huang Bian’s skill had indiscriminately softened the surrounding terrain. While it restricted the Movement Speed of the Female Soldiers, it also hindered the Beastmen. The Beastman Race didn’t have high agility to begin with; now, escaping was utterly impossible.
But more importantly, their courage had been completely shattered. They had lost all nerve to run. One by one, they could only stare at Qi Yue, trembling uncontrollably.
Qi Yue held three of her arms high in the air. Even she hadn’t expected this level of lethality. After all, half of those Moon Blade Slashes had been aimed at intercepting the incoming javelins in the sky. Only the remaining half had actually struck the Beastmen. She hadn’t anticipated that it would completely crush the enemy forces in a single blow.
CRUNCH! CRUNCH!
Qi Yue’s footsteps against the soft earth sounded like someone trudging through thick snow. With every step she took, the surviving Beastmen flinched.
She quickly walked into the remnants of the Beastman formation. The Beastmen didn’t even dare to make a sound, silently holding their shields in front of their bodies. Many were injured, but they simply gritted their teeth in agony and shivered.
Qi Yue didn’t press the attack. There was no need. The battle was already won.
These Beastmen were Zhao Chi’s prisoners now, and they could be sold for money. Naturally, Qi Yue wasn’t going to cause Zhao Chi any financial loss. Besides, just standing there like a National Guardian Mountain God was enough to completely awe and suppress the remaining stragglers. The sturdy Beastmen crouched on the ground or lay flat in the dirt, entirely stripped of their Combat Will. Right now, they didn’t look like fierce warriors; they looked more like cowardly Goblins.
Soon, Zhao Chi and the Female Soldiers surrounded the area. In truth, even they were deeply shocked. Before seeing it in person, it was impossible to imagine what a 2.8-meter-tall person actually looked like.
This was Zhao Chi’s second time seeing something like this, but he was still immensely overwhelmed. The first time, he had seen a giant, naked Gu Qing. But now, he was looking at a fully armed, four-armed Qi Yue. She truly looked like a Female War God.
The Female Soldiers quickly untied the ropes from their waists and bound the Beastmen tightly. Gu Qing only needed to spray a little Silk Thread to ensure the ropes wouldn’t slip or be untied. She also fully healed all the injured Beastmen.
The battle was over.
Zhao Chi let out a sigh of relief. "Well done, Qi Yue. I thought this would turn into a prolonged slaughter, but I didn’t expect you to handle it all by yourself."
Qi Yue lowered her head and smiled softly. "It wasn’t entirely my doing. Tang Ruan also helped draw a lot of their fire."
Tang Ruan waved her hand dismissively. "I barely had anything to do with it. Even without me, you could have easily crushed them on your own."
Looking at the ground littered with Beastman captives, Gu Qing sighed in amazement. "I didn’t expect them to be so fragile. There are clearly over three hundred of them left, yet they don’t even dare to put up a fight."
Zhao Chi chuckled. "They don’t have the Fearless Talent. Once their Morale breaks, they completely lose the courage to resist."
Gu Qing nodded in agreement. "True. Qi Yue completely stunned them. If these were over eight hundred Skeletons instead, we might still be fighting right now."
Looking around, Zhao Chi asked, "Qi Yue, where is the enemy Lord? That Human."
Qi Yue pointed at the damp dirt ahead. "The biggest piece of him is right there." Then she pointed to a nearby patch of mud. "Half of his head is buried in that mud. As for the rest of his pieces, I’m not entirely sure, but they should be scattered somewhere nearby."
