Global PvP Tower: I Can Infinitely Merge My Units

Chapter 60: Mythic-rank Spacecraft, Floating Ruins Appears

The circle answered before the last digit of the cost even finished registering, twenty spacecraft rolling out one after another across the deck, joining the Rare and Uncommon still waiting from before.

He didn’t waste a second sorting through them individually. Straight into Boundless Genesis, same rhythm as always.

It took some time, but he got what he wanted.

One Mythic-rank shape stood where twenty-two lesser ones had been a moment earlier, and Logan felt his own breath catch a little just looking at it.

In its ship form, it looked like something carved out of a collapsed star, hull the color of deep violet shading into black, threads of gold light running through the plating like veins instead of wiring. Wings swept back from the hull in long curved blades, sharp enough at the edges that they looked less like control surfaces and more like weapons in their own right.

"Show me the other form," Logan said it half to himself.

The ship answered, hull folding and reshaping in a smooth cascade until an armored humanoid figure stood on the deck where the ship had been a second earlier, the same violet-and-gold color scheme carried through into plating that looked equal parts armor and starlight.

[ Talents ]

> Form Switch - Universal to all Mythic-rank Spacecraft. Ship form and humanoid form share a single combined HP and MP pool. Switching between them costs no resources at all.

> Starforge Manifestation - Can reshape its own hull into any weapon or tool it has directly witnessed being used, retaining 100% of that item’s original properties.

> Gravity Well Anchor - Generates a localized gravity field around itself, slowing or pulling in anything caught within range.

> Void Sail - Travels through open space without conventional propulsion, moving at speeds normal engines can’t match.

[ Active Skills ]

> Starfall Cannon - Fires a concentrated beam of collapsed starlight from either form.

> Blade Wing Sweep - The wings, or the humanoid arms, extend into cutting blades for a wide sweeping strike.

> Collapse Drive - Charges forward at extreme velocity, the hull compacting briefly into a dense point capable of punching straight through an enemy hull.

> Ashfall Requiem - Releases a wave of dying starlight outward, damaging everything nearby while briefly blinding enemy sensors.

[ Passive Skills ]

> Veiled Hull - Reduces detection range against enemy scanners by a significant margin.

> Emberveins - Slowly regenerates HP by drawing in ambient stellar radiation, faster near stars or energy-rich environments.

> Threnody’s Wake - Leaves a trailing field of dim starlight behind its own movement, weakening any enemy that passes through it.

Logan grinned, already turning the name over in his head. "Duskfall Ember Requiem. I like it. Welcome aboard. Let’s name you Duskross."

The next half hour went by faster than he expected, spent mostly running drills with his new roster and topping off whatever gear still needed adjusting.

"Master, five minutes." Synthia’s voice carried steadily across the deck.

Logan gathered everyone on deck and watched the clock tick down the last of it, tension building in his own chest with every second that passed.

"One minute until the Floating Ruins appear," Synthia announced.

The minute passed in a blink.

Ten new markers bloomed across the galaxy map all at once, scattered wide, none of them especially close to his current position.

Logan didn’t waste the window. He picked the nearest one, marked it, and committed the location to memory before the minute ran out and the markers faded again.

’Got it.’ He looked at his assembled roster, Duskross included. "Alright, everyone. Full force. Let’s go claim some Relics and eliminate players."

---

The Floating Ruins came into view long before Logan actually reached them, and even at a distance the scale of the thing made his own Mothership look like a toy by comparison.

It hung suspended in open space like a broken planet that had forgotten to finish falling apart, jagged spires and hollowed-out chunks of ancient structure drifting in slow orbit around a central mass big enough to swallow a moon. Passages cut through the whole thing wide enough for a dozen Motherships to fly through side by side.

Logan counted past thirty separate Mothership signatures already crowded around the approach, most of them holding position at a cautious distance, players clearly content to stay aboard their own decks and let their summoned forces handle whatever the Ruins threw at them first.

"Let’s reduce some competition." Logan’s grin turned sharp.

He picked one out of the crowd almost at random, a Mothership flying under a name that belonged to something from another world entirely, all consonants and sharp edges no Earth-born tongue would have naturally produced.

"Duskross. Full power on that one. Destroy its core."

The Mythic Spacecraft answered without hesitation, humanoid form still standing on the deck beside him even as a beam of collapsed starlight tore free from somewhere in its chest, crossing the distance in less time than it took to blink.

Starfall Cannon!

It found the enemy Mothership’s core dead center after tearing everything blocking it, and the whole ship came apart from the inside out in a single silent flash, debris scattering outward in a slow expanding ring.

On the other hand, Trent Hollis had seen the broadcast the same as everyone else, Leon Flanke’s face plastered across every channel just hours ago, and the second that name lit up on his own scanner he knew exactly what he wanted to do about it.

’First player to take down Leon Flanke. That’s a headline.’ His hands were already moving across his own console. ’Five-hour cooldown’s worth it for this.’

Without hesitation, he fired a powerful attack packing the punch of 800 Attack points that all players’ motherships can use with a 5-hour cooldown.

"Hyperlance Cannon. Target locked."

A beam of raw white energy tore free of his own Mothership’s prow, crossing the distance toward Logan’s ship in a line too fast and too bright to track with the naked eye.

Billy didn’t wait for an order.

Void Fracture!

Ten blades tore free of his own wheel in the same instant, spreading into a wide arc between Logan’s ship and the incoming beam, and the Hyperlance Cannon met all ten of them at once.

The beam didn’t punch through so much as come apart, light scattering in a hundred directions as each blade sliced through a different section of it, and what should have gutted Logan’s Mothership arrived instead as nothing more than harmless scattered light drifting past the hull.

Trent’s own console flashed a warning he hadn’t expected to see. ’What? No, that’s not... nobody blocks a five-hour cooldown attack that easily!’

Logan hadn’t even flinched.

"Solveig. Send your knights. Destroy that ship’s core."

Eight knights split off from Solveig’s own light and closed the distance as their golden wings trailed through space at insane speed due to the passive skill that increased speed by 100%.

They arrived on the enemy ship in no time and started wreaking havoc.
