Global PvP Tower: I Can Infinitely Merge My Units
Chapter 92: Creation Sage Chaos
A tunnel entrance sat carved into the stronghold’s own rear wall, sloping down into darkness lit by veins of dull orange light running through the rock itself.
Alice crouched at the entrance, running one hand along the exposed wall. "That’s not just decoration."
```
[ Pyroclast Ore ]
Tier-4 | Epic
```
"A whole mine, built right into the Warlord’s own base." Logan crouched beside her, studying the veins running deeper into the tunnel. "Worth remembering."
"You should go get something that can actually dig this out properly." Alice straightened up, already scanning the surrounding treeline out of habit. "I’ll hold the entrance. No sense both of us wasting the trip."
Logan nodded and left her to it, Solveig’s clones carrying him alone back toward their own small starting island a while later.
He touched down on familiar sand to find Billy and Sonic slumped against a palm tree, looking thoroughly unbothered by the concept of guard duty.
"Finally." Billy perked up the second Logan landed. "Nothing’s come near this place in hours. I’m so bored I taught Sonic three different card games."
"I won all three," Sonic added, entirely too pleased with himself. "And then we played tag, and I won."
"You cheated."
"Can’t prove it."
Logan let them bicker and pulled up his own status panel, curious about how much everything so far had actually added up to.
```
[ Total Tower Points: 23,490 ]
[ Territory radius: 180 meters. ]
```
The island had grown well past its original hundred-meter footprint. Every full enemy team they’d wiped out along the way had fed directly into that number, since a team’s own island vanished the instant both its players went down, the whole thing folded back into whichever winning team had actually destroyed it.
Logan flicked through the rest of the interface out of curiosity.
```
[ Summoning Circle: Level 1. Upgrade cost: 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 Tower Points per level, up to Level 5. ]
[ Healing Area: Level 1. Upgrade cost: 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 5,000 / 10,000 Tower Points per level, up to Level 5. ]
```
’Well, I don’t need to upgrade Summoning Circle. I’ll upgrade Healing Area to level 5 first. That will be more useful when others come to attack our island.’
A higher circle level meant better odds on a raw pull, but Logan had never needed better odds. He had Boundless Genesis instead, and long merge chains that he himself creates produce better Mythics.
"Let’s see what two hundred summons gets us this time." He grinned, already opening the interface.
---
The cards came out in a steady stream, two hundred of them scattered across the sand in front of him, and Logan sorted through the resulting spread with the same practiced eye he’d used a dozen times before.
Seventy-two Normal. Sixty-eight Uncommon. Fifty-eight Rare. Two Epic. A Level 1 circle couldn’t roll Legendary or Mythic directly, no matter how many times he tried, and Epic itself sat at barely one percent. He got to work anyway.
```
[ 72x Normal merged into 36x Uncommon ]
[ 104x Uncommon merged into 52x Rare ]
[ 110x Rare merged into 55x Epic ]
[ 57x Epic merged into 28x Legendary, 1x Epic remaining ]
[ 28x Legendary merged into 14x Mythic ]
```
Fourteen Mythic-rank production units sat in front of him by the time the dust settled, along with one leftover Epic he set aside for later.
Twelve of them settled into their final forms, and Logan looked over each one in turn, satisfied with how distinct the whole batch had actually come out.
```
[ Verdant Bloom Thessaris ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
Roots and leaves made up most of its own body, a walking garden that could turn any plant matter into potions and elixirs on the spot, bark-plated hands cradling a mortar and pestle that never seemed to actually stop grinding.
```
[ Molten Core Vulkarn ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
A squat, furnace-bodied thing with a chimney for a head, coals glowing steadily behind a grate where a face should have been. It could spawn small crawling constructs, Ore Grubs, dozens of them at once, each one built purely to burrow into stone and drag ore back to the surface.
"That one’s useful right now." Logan grinned, already picturing the mine.
```
[ Runic Sigil Draventh ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
Tall and angular, its whole body etched with glowing runes that shifted position slowly across its own skin, capable of carving enchantments directly into weapons and armor.
```
[ Starlit Void Nyriel ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
A slight, hooded figure trailing a constellation of small floating lights, each one a scout in its own right, capable of mapping terrain and revealing hidden locations across a wide radius.
```
[ Tideglass Flow Maren ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
Built from something that looked like living glass filled with slow-moving water, able to process any liquid material into potions, poisons, or reagents depending on what was actually needed.
```
[ Ironbound Siege Kroth ]
Rank: Mythic | Tier-4
```
Broad-shouldered and built low to the ground, capable of assembling functional vehicles and siege constructs out of whatever scrap and lumber happened to be lying around.
The remaining six followed the same pattern, each one distinct, each one built around its own specialty, no two overlapping in what they actually brought to the table.
He’d already picked out two specific candidates from the batch before the last merge even finished, deliberately choosing which pair to push together rather than leaving the sixteenth slot to chance.
```
[ Merging two Mythic-rank units... ]
```
Something vast and strange took shape where the two lesser Mythics had been standing a moment earlier, half machine and half something that didn’t belong to any world Logan recognized, joints that clicked like gears set inside a frame wrapped in shifting, eldritch light.
```
[ Creation Sage Chaos ]
Rank: Mythic+ | Tier-4
```
The unit’s own presence settled once it finished forming, four Talents already visible on the panel Logan pulled up next. All skills and talents at Mythic+!
```
[ Talents ]
> Boundless Fabrication - Can invent a functioning item from any random collection of raw materials provided, regardless of how mismatched or unlikely the combination might seem. Takes time depending on the complexity and rank of materials.
> Alchemic Transmutation - Can convert one type of material into another, provided the conversion stays within a reasonable tier of difference.
> Eldritch Foundry - An internal forge woven into its own body, capable of manufacturing weapons of nearly any type once given the right materials to work with.
> Chaos PsyDogs - Spectral hound constructs that range out from its own position, capable of sniffing out both danger and fortune alike within a wide radius. After being summoned, they disappear after 24 hours. Can summon up to 10 at a time.
[ Active Skills ]
> Weapon Forge: Adaptive - Manufactures a specific requested weapon type on demand, provided sufficient materials are supplied into the Eldritch Foundry first.
> Spark of Chaos - Can randomly transform an Item, regardless of its rank, into a random rank with a completely different form and powers.
> Chaos Upgrade - Can evolve an item to one rank higher, but it will have a Chaotic Perk.
> Chaos Wish - Can take an idea and the imagined function as instructed to invent a blueprint of the idea.
[ Passive Skills ]
> Chaos Attunement - The rarity and quality of anything crafted improves the more exotic or unusual the source materials happen to be.
> Never Static - Resists being pinned, rooted, or otherwise immobilized, its own chaotic nature refusing to settle into any single fixed state for long.
> Undeath Chaos - A seed is imprinted into any item Creation Sage Chaos creates, which revives him from that item in case he dies. Cooldown: 72 hours.
```
"Similar to what Tinkerbell used to do." Logan turned the whole thing over in his own head. "But far more...crazier."
"You gonna introduce us to the new guy, or just stand there admiring him?" Billy called out, already circling Molten Core Vulkarn with open curiosity.
"Let’s see... Your name is Xairon. An exotic name for an exotic you." Logan grinned and took out all the stuff, like various weapons, gear, armour, and resources that were stored in the Warlord’s base.
"Use them to create mounted weapons for our island that can attack those coming to harm us. Also, let’s get some of your Chaos PsyDogs. They sound charming."
"Xairon? Nice to meet ya, buddy." Billy patted Xairon, who instantly changed his form into a dragon made of chaotic energy while unconnected metallic plates flowed over its skin, and roared at Billy.
Billy rolled his eyes, instantly drawing his void blades and unleashing an intent so powerful it triggered all danger bells of Xairon, forcing it to turn into a little chaos fish that ran behind Logan and hid.
"Alright, alright. Let him do his work, Billy."
"Hehe..." Billy left satisfied after telling the newcomer who the boss was.
Sonic clapped from the sky. "So Billy-senpai can only bully the production units who have no combat assets. But can’t work up the courage to catch me."
"You rascal...Just wait! I didn’t want to go all out, but now I’ll beat your smartass."
Logan meanwhile gathered Molten Core Vulkarn and Verdant Bloom Thessaris. "You two are coming with me."
Xairon also spawned Chaos PsyDogs. They surprisingly had some handy abilities.
Once they find the spot with either fortune or danger, they can pee there. Once that’s done, they can create a portal that leads to the location. One Chaos PsyDog can pee one time and can only create the portal once.
Since that was the case, Logan unleashed the dogs who were immune to all status effects and could switch from immaterial to material instantly. And last but not least, one of their abilities was running over anything. Be it water, air, space, anything, with their max speed reaching 1000 kilometres per hour.
"Alright, go and pee at the spots and then come back here and play."
"Waaoof!"
"Waff! Waff!"
"Awooooo!!"
"You all, make sure to defend the island properly."
...
With that, Logan left with three Mythic Units.
[ Molten Core Vulkarn ]
[ Runic Sigil Draventh ]
[ Tideglass Flow Maren ]
"Maren, turn into your ship form and take us to this island, please."
One of the summons was a literal ship, so he made a mergline with it and got an ocean explorer.
"Once you drop us off at that big island, you will go into the ocean to search for resources."
"As you wish, my lord."
