Chapter 1568: Chapter 1442: Return to the Homeland (Part 2)

Elena saluted and said: "I will do my utmost. If I succeed in gaining the tribe’s leadership, I will definitely set an example."

The King expressed satisfaction: "Very good! Warrior, if you reach the New World in the future, you might take a look at the Shadow Mountain Range. It is very dangerous there, and quite a few Dark Elves lurk around."

Da Fei hurriedly said: "I will follow Your Majesty’s orders."

And speaking of the Legion Token, Da Fei suddenly realized he had a Legion Token that hadn’t been submitted. Why not submit it while His Majesty is in a good mood?

Da Fei then took out the Legion Token that had completely annihilated Cromwell’s Flying Army: "Your Majesty, this is a small gift from me, please accept it."

The King accepted the Legion Token and was pleasantly surprised as he handed it to Silena: "Lord Silena, what do you think of this?"

Silena laughed heartily: "Guardian Warrior, this is a Hell Regular Army Legion Token from the Azazel Clan belonging to the Eight Great Demon Lords. It cannot be compared to the regular Demon God Family at all. Why didn’t you mention such a glorious victory earlier?"

Da Fei coughed lightly: "Is that so? Well, mainly because I have annihilated so many Hell Regular Armies that I’ve become numb to it." Indeed, Da Fei had grown accustomed to such matters and truly forgot.

The King chuckled: "Warrior, the Azazel Legion is almost an unbeatable presence for us. We can’t seem to find better rewards for the warrior, but it seems the warrior has a title from the Regular Army? How about we upgrade the warrior’s Regular Army?"

Da Fei only then remembered he indeed held a title from the Nature Guardian Regular Army, apparently upgraded last after defeating Hillsea’s Bat Army to level five, with no upgrades after such major battles, showing how difficult upgrading with a Legion Token is.

Da Fei rejoiced and said: "Alright, I’ll upgrade my Legion Token then!" So, Da Fei eagerly handed over his Legion Token.

The King accepted the Legion Token, nodding in satisfaction: "Warrior, this is merely a Special Task Force Captain’s Legion Token, mainly for evaluation purposes, not strictly considered a Regular Army. Once upgraded to a Group Leader Token, each campaign achievement of the warrior will increase the attributes of the Legion Token."

Silena laughed: "I think, as soon as we upgrade, it will surely become a Group Leader Token, right?"

The King laughed: "With the warrior’s merit in annihilating the Azazel Legion, I must help upgrade the warrior no matter what!"

After speaking, he waved his hand, and all the Druid Elders gathered around the King to cast spells. The next moment, the Azazel Legion Token in the King’s left hand released a golden-red stream of light, flowing into the Nature Guardian Legion Token in his right hand. When the Azazel Legion Token completely disappeared, the Nature Guardian Legion Token in his right hand flashed with golden light!

——System Prompt: Congratulations! Your Nature Guardian Special Task Force Captain’s Legion Token has successfully upgraded to level 10! Legion attribute attack +10, defense +10, life +2, damage +2, Legion Token capacity expanded to 1000 individuals (counted by individual quantity, not Command Value), Special Task Force Captain’s Legion Token officially becomes a Group Leader Token! Legion Token acquired new special skill, campaign achievement upgrade.

Campaign achievement upgrade: Every 5 ordinary campaign victories will increase the Legion Token by 1 attribute point for attack and defense, every 1 glorious campaign achievement will increase the Legion Token by 3 points for attack and defense attributes.

——System Prompt: You have achievements from the "40th campaign victory" and "30th glorious campaign victory", earning 98 attribute points for Legion Token attack and defense. Please choose to enhance the Legion Token’s attack or defense.

...

Good heavens! At this moment, Da Fei was pleasantly surprised and stunned on the spot! Not to mention the God-level domain he knew nothing about, even the mortal domain had so many things he was unaware of. It turns out campaign achievements not only increase Command Power and Personal Life by so little, the real significant part lies here! Ultimately, this is one of the reasons those veteran NPC legions are so powerful; merely the attributes added by a Legion Token can equate to all a player’s gear. Da Fei truly aimed too high and far!

There’s nothing more to say, it’s all going into attack! Da Fei excitedly checked the brand-new Legion Token:

——Nature Guardian Special Task Group Leader level 10 Legion Token: Legion attack +108, defense +10, life +2, damage +2, Legion capacity 1000 individuals, special skills: Advanced Light Protection, campaign achievement upgrade.

At this time, the room erupted into thunderous applause.

The King, somewhat weary, smiled: "Warrior, I have nothing more to offer as a reward. The remaining task is we will help repair the warrior’s ship; the warrior has one day of preparation time, then can return to their own Plane. I hope the warrior continues to strive!"

Da Fei exclaimed with joy: "I will certainly continue to contribute to the strength and prosperity of the Bright Alliance..."

Thus, the ceremonial music played again, amid a slew of courtesy greetings, the King ended the court session, and Da Fei contentedly led the team back to the Pool of Radiance pier. One day left, huh? Brother cannot wait to go home and log out to sleep right now.

At this moment, at the Pool of Radiance, a soft golden-green beam of light descended from the sky, enveloping the Flying vessel, increasing its Durability slowly under the bath of golden light. Needless to say, this was using the World Tree’s Divine Power for repairs. Such opportunity is rare, it mustn’t be missed.

Welcomed by the General’s greetings, Da Fei once again urged the General to look after Lamia Village’s development when possible. Then, Da Fei returned to the ship with great satisfaction.

The Spider Queen’s voice came again: "High Priest, I’ve been waiting for you!"
