Chapter 276: Three Months I

Time continued to pass, and soon, three months had already gone by...

"Finally..."

Regis whispered, a satisfied smile playing on his lips as he observed the energies swirling within his heart.

The blue of mana; the red of aura; the corruptive black of demonic power; the white-gold of divine power; the pure white of faith; and the pitch-black abyss of chaos energy.

Faith alone remained elusive—a steady stream flowing from his friends and those he had helped over the year, yet its manipulation still escaped him.

He could feel its source, but not its shape.

The other five, however, had already coalesced. Within his heart, each had formed its own stars.

Of course, his aether, which only manifested when he formed a connection between mana and aura, was not included.

Regis had now reached the following realms in the path of the following energies, respectively:

Middle Stage Five Star Realm in Mana.

Late Stage Two Star Realm in Aura.

Middle Stage One Star Realm in Divine Power.

Middle Stage Five Star Realm in Demonic Power.

Early Stage One Star Realm in Chaos Energy.

"Hm..."

Regis nodded in satisfaction, feeling quite proud of himself as he observed his gains in the past three months.

"So far, the trickiest one to nurture is divine power." He muttered under his breath.

In the past few years, since he had involuntarily used Indiscriminate Absorption towards Alaric, he had not been able to nurture divine power.

After all, it was quite different from mana and aura, which he only needed to continue circulating while broadening his knowledge in the respective fields.

Of course, this was in addition to him practicing spells and aura arts as well.

In simple words, the nurturing methods of mana and aura were straightforward in comparison to divine power.

Meanwhile, the same goes for demonic power.

The only reason it was able to reach the level it was now was purely due to Indiscriminate Absorption, which absorbed everything in its path, no matter the impurities, in order to grow itself.

Aside from that, Regis did not know how to nurture it as well.

On the other hand, chaos energy was quite like aura in some regards.

He was able to nurture it by repeatedly circulating it through his body and practicing coating his fists and other parts of his body with it.

Although it did not have any specialized techniques like aura arts, its nullification ability was excellent for defending and penetrating the defenses of enemies.

’Although I already have my Weakpoint Creation, it’s still nice since I can stack their effects...’

Meanwhile, for divine power, he was able to discover that reciting the scriptures of the Church of Light had a nurturing effect on it.

Aside from this, he also participated in masses and communicated with the worshippers of light.

’Considering that, just like demonic power wherein the differing ’aspects’ of each affected the color of the energy itself, the white-gold divine power seemed to behave the same.’

Regis fell into deep thought as he organized the things he had discovered in the past few months.

Just like how the different spheres of black energy in the Realm of Evil have differing color spots in them, which indicate the Devil that presides over that ’aspect’, he had surmised that divine power worked the same way as well.

As such, Regis assumed that the white-gold divine power implied that its abilities were likely related to the Goddess of Light and Virtue, whom Alaric served within the Church.

"Then, since it worked, the way of nurturing demonic power should be..."

Through worshipping the devils as well.

Regis could feel goosebumps just by thinking about it.

After all, he still remembered that time when he met a devil face-to-face in that red space.

Shaking his head, he muttered, "Anyways, it’s fine. I feel strong enough as I am now... at least for the meantime."

"Should I go check how they’re doing as well?"

Regis smiled as he left the private training room.

The main hall of the underground training area was currently empty, due to the fact that each parties were currently doing their own quests.

Glancing at Pandora and Killian’s private training room, he wrinkled his nose, "It’s quite lonely out here."

He could not help but feel a little dazed as he made his way out of the underground training hall.

In the three months that had passed, only the first was dedicated to high-intensity training.

Then, as the parties were able to improve both their knowledge and technique, the interval between training sessions became longer.

This was even more so when Regis had finally been able to successfully teach them how to form their aether stars.

In the second month, Vanta, Exemplar, and Gotun primarily focused on teamwork and cooperation as they had undergone countless mock battles.

On the other hand, the fifth party, Equilla, had also completed its roster and had been training as a party.

It was only at the start of the third month that they were able to register as adventurers and take on their first party quest.

As Regis made his way up the stairs, he could not help but smile, ’Equilla, that party is really special...’

The reason why he thought that was simple, really.

It was none other than the fact that the three members that Marzana had gathered, Aeola included, had all suffered through some sort of curse in their lives.

In other words, they were all special cases.

"Still, they’re really powerful..."

Regis muttered under his breath, remembering the time when Equilla had joined the mock battles against other parties.

Despite being the only party incapable of using aether, unlike Vanta, Exemplar, and Gotun, Equilla did not fall behind.

The reason being none other than the fact that all their members had benefited from their ’curses’ after being treated by Regis.

In fact, just Marzana’s chaos energy, which nullified other energies, was already fatal as it excelled in both offense and defense.
