Chapter 1429 - 1428: Mission Accomplished, Lin Fan Awakens!

In the woodshed of the Shaolin Temple!

Time passes swiftly like a trial, a month has already flown by!

Looking again inside the Tripod Cauldron, some of the black liquid has evaporated, some has been absorbed by Lin Fan, and now only a thin layer sticks to the top of the cauldron!

As for Lin Fan, he sits cross-legged inside the cauldron, having been still this entire month; if not for the rise and fall of his chest indicating he was alive, one might think he was a statue!

A faint golden Powerful Qi flows across the surface of Lin Fan's body, and this time, the color is deeper than it was before!

However, after all, Powerful Qi is formless; if not looked at carefully, or by someone who understands Qi, it is ultimately unrecognizable!

Inside Lin Fan's body, the energy from General Qilin and General Bai Hu has mostly been digested, making his Qi even more robust!

If Lin Fan's previous Powerful Qi was a small pond, then now it's the size of a small river!

"Hualala~"

Vaguely, it seems one can hear the sound of Qi flowing within Lin Fan's body!

Beside the woodshed, the little fellow Wukong is sitting on a stool, with a small table before him, copying the Diamond Sutra as punishment from Abbot Kongxu!

The little fellow isn't as astute as Kong Jing; he's been copying diligently, occasionally looking up to glance at Lin Fan!

Just then, a powerful Qi surged out from Lin Fan's body, sweeping up the remaining black liquid at the bottom of the cauldron and, visible to the naked eye, it was drawn into Lin Fan's body through his opened pores!

Soon, all the black liquid inside the cauldron has been completely absorbed!

"Ka-kacha~"

Suddenly, a crisp sound emerges from Lin Fan's body, like the friction of bones, very clear and loud!

Hearing this sound, Wukong hurriedly walked up to Lin Fan, and as the clear sound faded, a muffled roar, like surging waves, resonated from within his body!

This is Lin Fan's final surge of strength!

"Brother Fan should be waking up soon!"

Wukong yelled, then quickly turned and ran out of the woodshed!

At this time, Lin Kongxian and others were gathered in the courtyard, playing chess!

Abbot Kongxu saw Wukong hurrying over, and asked, "Why are you not copying the Diamond Sutra, and running out here?"

Wukong, catching his breath, said, "Master, Brother Fan's body is stirring, he should be waking up soon!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Kongxian and the others immediately stopped what they were doing!

Lin Kongxian was the first to rise, rushing towards the direction of the woodshed, with the others following closely behind!

When the group arrived before Lin Fan, the faint golden Qi covering his body had disappeared!

On observing his body, the miraculous part is that the wounds he had, especially the hideous scars and bullet holes on his back, have vanished, restored to their original state without a trace!

The muscles on his body have become more powerful, with not a hint of fat, as though individual pieces of steel are embedded within him, merely looking at it gives off a sense of explosive power!

"Finally about to wake up!" Lin Kongxian, staring at Lin Fan, did not dare to be careless, his expression was somewhat grave!

Not long after, Lin Fan suddenly blinked the eyes he had kept closed for a month, and then gradually opened them!

Within his just-opened eyes, a layer of faint gold spread, but it quickly turned back to black and white!

After waking, Lin Fan saw Lin Kongxian and others surrounding him, looking at him, and was taken aback, instinctively covering his crotch and chest with his hands!

"Damn! I say, you old guys, what's up with standing around watching me? I'm not some monkey for your amusement!" Lin Fan immediately cursed out loud!

On hearing this, Eagle King and others couldn't help but laugh heartily!

"Nephew, didn't expect you to be well-endowed!" said the Eagle King with a smile.

"Haha! If I were eighty or ninety years younger, I'd definitely take you as my consort!" Princess Peacock laughed!

Lin Fan only felt a tingling scalp, dear me, even if you were eighty or ninety years younger, you'd just barely lose the title of old witch, but ultimately still an ugly hag!

Lin Kongxian was not amused by Lin Fan's words, but instead, he stared seriously at Lin Fan, asking, "Are you all right?"

"No problem, everything's normal!" Lin Fan replied.

"Good! First, get dressed, we'll wait for you outside!" said Lin Kongxian, then turned to walk out of the woodshed!

The others lingered a bit more to admire Lin Fan's body before leaving!

"Brother Fan, here are the clothes prepared for you, see if they fit!" Wukong said, returning with a set of clothes!

Lin Fan took the clothes and put them on immediately, and they fit just right!

With a light tap of his feet on the cauldron bottom, Lin Fan leaped out of the cauldron like a feather, then headed straight for the door!

Inside the main hall, Lin Kongxian and the others sat together. As Lin Fan entered, all eyes immediately focused on him, which made him feel somewhat embarrassed, like it was a public trial!

"Have a seat!" Lin Kongxian said.

Lin Fan nodded and sat down!

Lin Kongxian asked, "How does your body feel, any problems?"

"Don't worry, everything's normal!" said Lin Fan!

"That's good to hear!"

Relieved, Lin Kongxian continued, "How much of the energy left by General Qilin and General Bai Hu have you managed to harness?"

"About eighty to ninety percent, there is still some stored within me, but I feel unable to control it!" Lin Fan replied!

"That's normal since your body was weak before and couldn't absorb it all at once; it'll take some trigger point next!" Lin Kongxian explained!

Lin Fan nodded in agreement. Indeed, this increase in strength was against nature, defying the heavens, and to absorb eighty to ninety percent of the energy from General Qilin and General Bai Hu was already an unexpected blessing!

Then Lin Kongxian said, "Kid, release your Qi and let me see what level you've reached!"

"Alright!"

Lin Fan immediately nodded, also eager to explore his strength!
