Chapter 1448 - 1447: Lin Fan Takes Action

"What's Fan's plan?" Liu Yang asked!

"Not yet..."

Lin Fan shook his head, but was also contemplating his plan to make a mark on Demon Island!

"What's the name of the leader?" Lin Fan enquired!

"That person is a Junior Hall Master of the Hall of Loyalty and Justice, named Li Kui. He's quite arrogant and is said to be at mid-level Huajin!" Liu Yang explained in detail!

Lin Fan nodded quietly, calculating in his heart!

At this time, Fatty Li appeared in front of Li Kui, looking like a mouse frightened by a cat, with a humble smile on his face. He quickly took out the small panda cigarettes Lin Fan gave him and hurriedly offered one!

"Li, have a smoke!" Fatty Li chuckled!

"Wow! It's small panda cigarettes, not bad!" Li Kui replied with a strange tone of laughter, took out the half-burned cigarette from his mouth, threw it on the ground, and extinguished it with his foot!

And then, Li Kui accepted the small panda cigarette offered by Fatty Li, who quickly and courteously provided a lighter to ignite it!

Li Kui glanced at the cigarette pack in Fatty Li's hand and said, "What's the deal? Only generous enough to offer me one cigarette?"

"How... how could that be? This is all for Li!" Fatty Li dared not hesitate and reluctantly handed over the cigarette pack!

Li Kui snatched the cigarette box, flipped it over in his hand, and then tucked it into his pocket, coldly sneering at Fatty Li, "I tell you, Fatty Li, it's been more than half a month and it's time for the protection fee from your factory?"

Upon hearing this, Fatty Li's expression immediately turned sullen!

Li Kui would come every month to demand protection money from the factory, and although Fatty Li reported it to the Liu Family, because the Liu Family had interests with the Hall of Justice, they chose to ignore this matter!

Therefore, the protection fee each month was actually paid out of Fatty Li's own pocket, though the Liu Family raised his salary knowing about this afterward!

But who knew, this time Li Kui suddenly increased the protection fee, and this increase was almost half of Fatty Li's monthly salary, how could he afford to fork out that much money from his pocket!

"Li, didn't I give you some last time?" Fatty Li replied with a smile!

"Shit! I said you, Fatty, are you deaf or what? I said, every month the protection fee is a hundred Copper Coins, you paid fifty Copper Coins last time, what's that for?" Li Kui cursed unceremoniously!

"Li! You suddenly raised the protection fee, where can I get so much money? Please give me a little more time, I'll report this to the Liu Family immediately and ask for some protection fee, then deliver it all to Li!" Fatty Li said with a smile!

"Shit! Fatty Li, do you take me for a fool? You've said this three times, and don't think you can fool me again, if you don't pay, I'll smash it!" Li Kui shouted angrily!

Fatty Li's face was full of bitterness; he had reported this to the Liu Family three times, but the Liu Family had never responded, he was at a loss!

Fatty Li stated, "Li, this is truly the last time, please trust me once more!"

"Trust your damn face! Guys, smash it, let them know the consequences of offending my Hall of Loyalty and Justice, and pick the expensive stuff to smash!"

Li Kui shouted angrily, and his four subordinates immediately picked up tools and, without a word, smashed the nearby vegetables, fruits, porcelains, etc.!

At this moment, Li Kui's eyes were fixed on the box of cigarettes by Liu Yang's feet, his eyes gleaming with thrill, "Wow! Aren't these cigarettes, well, let's use these cigarettes as the protection fee!"

Hearing this, Fatty Li was hugely anxious; half of the cigarettes were to be sent to the Liu Family, if taken by Li Kui, the consequences were unimaginable!

Fatty Li hurriedly blocked Li Kui's way, saying, "Li, these cigarettes can't be taken, they are meant to be sent to the Liu Family!"

"I don't care about your Liu Family, move aside!"

Li Kui cursed loudly, raised his leg, and kicked Fatty Li in the abdomen, causing him to roll on the ground multiple times!

Seeing the factory get smashed and Fatty Li being beaten, none of the workers did anything, especially given that Fatty Li often bullied these workers, they felt quite satisfied seeing Fatty Li getting beaten!

At this moment, Lin Fan suddenly asked Liu Yang, "If I drive away this gang from the Hall of Loyalty and Justice, will it be okay?"

"No big trouble, they might just bring more people to bother you, Fan!" Liu Yang said!

"Your Fan here isn't afraid of trouble!" Lin Fan sneered, squinting his eyes tight, and a glimmer of cold light shone through the slit!

At this time, Fatty Li flipped over on the ground bravely, guarding the whole box of cigarettes, saying, "Li, these are really meant to be sent to the Liu Family, they really can't be taken!"

"Fatty Li, it seems you won't drink the wine of respect, so let me grant your wish!"

Li Kui sneeringly shouted, grabbed a nearby club, and, without hesitation, fiercely swung it towards Fatty Li's forehead!

There are no laws on Demon Island; everything depends on strength; even if Li Kui actually killed Fatty Li, Fatty Li would die in vain!

In this ruthless world, the weak are always the most pitiful!

Fatty Li saw the club swinging towards his forehead, a look of fear spread across his face. But when he tried to dodge, it was too late, the club stirred a piercing wind, fiercely, just centimeters away from Fatty Li's forehead!

"Clap ~"

Suddenly, a crisp sound echoed unexpectedly!

This wasn't the sound of the club hitting Fatty Li's forehead!

Looking again, the fierce club stopped in mid-air abruptly!

"Who the hell dares to stop me from acting, looking for death?" Li Kui roared angrily!

"Looking for death is unnecessary, but if you wish to die, I could do you a favor!"

A cold laugh came, and it was Lin Fan who spoke. The hand gripping the club was none other than Lin Fan's!

The sudden scene shocked everyone around, especially those factory workers, who looked at Lin Fan with pity!

Knowing Li Kui's strength, they felt that Lin Fan daring to block Li Kui was simply asking for death!

"What a pity for the tender young lad, just coming to Demon Island, probably going to be tortured to death by Li Kui!" someone thought regretfully for Lin Fan!

Upon hearing Lin Fan's words, Li Kui's face twisted with fierceness, his arm immediately exerted force, attempting to withdraw the club from Lin Fan's grasp!

Unfortunately, no matter how many times Li Kui pulled, Lin Fan's hand remained like an iron clamp, unable to shift at all, seeming fixed in place!

"Kid, I'll count to three, let go immediately or I'll make you wish you were dead!" Liu Kui shouted furiously, his eyes blazing with anger, as if about to erupt!
