Chapter 1453 - 1452: Meeting Without Recognizing Each Other

Lin Fan watched Liu Yu chatting and laughing with Li Wudao and others, feeling a bit anxious!

Finally seeing Liu Yu, Lin Fan didn't want to miss this chance to closely interact with her and investigate her identity, otherwise it wouldn't be easy to see her again!

As Lin Fan glanced casually, he noticed a waiter carrying dishes towards the table of Liu Yu and the others, carefully placing the dishes on the table and quickly turning to leave!

Seeing this, Lin Fan's eyes suddenly sparkled!

"I'm going to the bathroom, wait here for me," Lin Fan said to Liu Yang!

"Okay!" Liu Yang nodded without hesitation!

Immediately, Lin Fan got up from his seat and headed towards the corridor!

The bathroom was in this corridor, and the waiters delivering meals were also walking through here!

After arriving at the corridor, Lin Fan lit a cigarette, leaned against the wall, and waited for the waiter to pass by while puffing smoke!

Soon, a waiter carrying a tray walked past Lin Fan!

The waiter saw Lin Fan smoking and immediately warned, "Sir, smoking is not allowed in our restaurant!"

"Oh~ sorry!"

Lin Fan apologized with a smile, then flipped his wrist to turn the burning cigarette butt into his palm, gently crushing it without leaving any burn marks thanks to the Powerful Qi protecting his palm!

Seeing this, the waiter was shocked, recognizing Lin Fan as a super strong person, and respectfully asked, "Sir, do you need anything?"

"I found the restroom door won't open," Lin Fan said!

"I'll check it for you!" the waiter replied urgently, reaching to push the door!

However, at the moment the waiter turned, Lin Fan swiftly struck, chopping the waiter's neck with his hand turned into a knife!

As the waiter was about to fall, Lin Fan quickly grabbed the tray from him, preventing any food from spilling!

Then, seeing no one around, Lin Fan lifted the waiter by the collar, as easily as picking up a chick, and hid him in the bathroom!

Afterwards, Lin Fan swapped clothes with the waiter, then carried the tray out of the bathroom!

Meanwhile, Liu Yang was watching the corridor direction, and was shocked to see Lin Fan disguised as a waiter coming out!

Lin Fan gestured to Liu Yang not to speak, then straightened his posture, donned a characteristic smile, and walked towards Liu Yu's table!

"Miss, Sir, here is your dish!"

Lin Fan politely said upon arriving at the table, looking just like a real waiter!

However, Lin Fan didn't leave immediately after setting the dishes down, his gaze quickly turned to Liu Yu!

Since Liu Yu was facing away from Lin Fan, she didn't notice him!

But Lin Fan's goal wasn't to merely deliver food, he was here for Liu Yu!

"What are you looking at? Why aren't you leaving?" Cheng Batian roared, seeing Lin Fan stand idly behind Liu Yu, staring at her intently!

Lin Fan ignored Cheng Batian, he felt lucky this was Demon Island; if it were the modern world, he would've dealt with him ten times over!

Lin Fan immediately asked Liu Yu, "Miss Liu, the song you just sang was so mesmerizing! I've come from the outside world, and used to love Eason Chan's 'Because of Love,' but it's a modern song, have you ever left Demon Island?"

Liu Yu turned to agree but froze upon recognizing the face she constantly missed behind her, her delicate face changing instantly!

Though Liu Yu reacted quickly and regained composure, her few seconds of daze were noticed by two people!

One was Lin Fan, the other was Li Wudao!

Lin Fan noticed Liu Yu's daze and already had an answer in his heart, and as he met Liu Yu's lively eyes, he was familiar with them even without seeing her face through the veil!

Seeing Liu Yu look at Lin Fan bewildered, Li Wudao's brow furrowed in suspicion!

Quickly, Liu Yu worried about exposing herself, hurriedly turned back, concerned her acquaintance with Lin Fan might cause him trouble, she said, "I'm sorry, I haven't left Demon Island!"

"Miss Liu, I'm sorry!"

Lin Fan nodded and didn't probe further, already having his answer, turned and left!

Back to the bathroom, Lin Fan changed back to his clothes, approached Liu Yang, and asked, "Have you had enough?"

"Full!" Liu Yang nodded!

"Let's go!"

Lin Fan spoke while turning to leave the restaurant, Liu Yang following closely!

Watching Lin Fan leave, Liu Yu's eyes flashed with complex emotion!

Because of Liu Yu's earlier daze upon seeing Lin Fan, Li Wudao had been quietly observing Liu Yu's behavior!

Especially seeing Lin Fan change clothes, Li Wudao immediately realized the waiter was Lin Fan in disguise to approach Liu Yu intentionally!

"What is the relationship between them?" Li Wudao pondered with doubt!

Soon after, Liu Yu and others finished their meals and left, but as Cheng Batian prepared to board the car, Li Wudao grabbed his arm!

"Li, you got a problem?" Cheng Batian asked curiously!

"Don't you find Liu Yu's behavior odd?" Li Wudao inquired!

"Odd? She seemed normal to me!" Cheng Batian was oblivious to the earlier events!

Li Wudao felt helpless, unable to discuss such profound matters with a brute like Cheng Batian!

So, Li Wudao instructed Cheng Batian, "Keep an eye on the man who was probing Liu Yu's info, find out his background!"

"You mean the waiter earlier? He said he fled from the outside world!" Cheng Batian asked curiously!

"Do you really think he's just a simple waiter?" Li Wudao sneered!

"You mean..." Cheng Batian remained puzzled!

Seeing this, Li Wudao felt like beating Cheng Batian, snapping, "Just follow orders, no need for excessive talk!"

"Yes! I'll surely handle it for you, Li!" Cheng Batian nodded promptly, startled!
