Gravity Mage with Level-Up System
Chapter 2216: Part 1: Wizard Talia
Creek City
One hour later,
Inside the system space, I stood in front of the woman. Her strength had recovered, and she was doing much better now. Her complexion had improved.
Feeling my gaze, she raised her head and started looking toward me. I nodded to her.
She said, "My name is Talia. I’m from the Ancient Mine Nation. My parents were former students of the True Element Society."
"Later, they couldn’t continue their studies for some reason. They settled down in the Ancient Mine Nation to raise me."
"Initially, there was no problem. I awakened my crystal variant magic and joined one of the royal academies there. I spent my years there until I was spotted by a former member of the True Element Society."
"She had come to visit my parents as she was passing by the county. Later, I joined the True Element Society because of her. I joined one of the magic palaces there," she added.
Hearing that, I nodded my head. I didn’t show any reaction. So far, her words were true. I confirmed it using the system.
Seeing that Wizard Vincent was listening to her, she continued to speak.
"I was doing an outside mission when you joined the True Element Society. I heard you were part of the Special Mage Palace," she said.
Hearing that, my mouth curved into an arc.
"What’s the name of the Special Palace Head?" I asked.
Talia said, "Her name is Supreme Wizard Phylia. She has Taboo Starlight Magic."
Hearing that, I nodded my head. Her background was clear, but I still wanted to know what happened to her parents.
"So, what’s the problem?" I asked.
"Something happened to my parents. After doing the mission, I went to my home country for a break. But my home was empty, and my parents were nowhere to be found."
"When I asked the people around, I found out that it had something to do with the royal family there. They must have imprisoned my parents there," she said.
I raised my eyebrows. She was still telling the truth.
"Why not ask for help from the True Element Society?" I asked.
Talia shook her head and said, "The True Element Society dares not offend the Royal Family."
I knew that Head Howard Mason was a Magic Lord. He was the Head of the True Element Society. When I left the society, he was rebuilding the place.
The traitors were all killed. The survivors lived and helped to rebuild the organization. But I didn’t follow what happened later.
These were the things later told to me by Manager Lara.
"Sigh!"
A long sigh escaped my mouth. The background of the True Element Society was not simple either.
Manager Lara told me that the real strength of the True Element Society was its graduated students and the former Heads of the organization.
Next, I collected my thoughts and looked toward her.
"Did you inform the True Element Society?" I asked her.
Talia nodded her head and said, "The head of the Magic Palace said that the royal family has the support of a hidden wizard organization."
"The hidden organization is many times stronger than the True Element Society. Only powers like the Mage Union can stand against them," she added.
Hearing that, my expression turned serious. I knew there were some powers in the world that could rival the Mage Union.
The Covenant Organization was one of them. They had twelve Elder Level Powerhouses there. Maybe the hidden organization behind that royal family had the support of an Elder Level Hidden Force.
"So why did they capture your parents?" I asked her.
There must be a reason behind it. I saw her hesitant expression.
I said, "You need to be honest with me. Only then can I help you out."
My tone was firm and solid. My gaze was locked on her eyes.
Talia said, "My parents were both Level-8 Wizards. Both of them have rare magic related to mechanical parts. They worked in a company owned by the royal family where they produced magic puppets."
"Later, for some reason, my parents stopped working there. They seemed to be living in their home under house arrest. When I asked them, they refused to tell me anything."
"When I last paid a visit, they were not there. They were last seen with the people from that company," she said.
Hearing that, I had the whole picture now. Earlier, I had thought of sending someone else to help, but I didn’t expect her to mention something related to puppets.
Whenever something popped up related to puppets, I always thought of the zero puppet. I wouldn’t miss a chance to upgrade it.
This was going to be another opportunity. I didn’t know how far this country was from my home in the Sand Rock Country and the Ancient Red Wood Country.
I had received the Starlight Puppet Inheritance there. If there was a chance, I should visit the place as soon as possible. My members were going outside for a journey.
They were going to seek their breakthrough opportunities.
I shouldn’t be complacent. I needed to keep looking for opportunities to grow stronger. Maybe I could come across relics like the Giant Earth Whale.
If I continued to stay in the Magic City, the Mage Union would deploy me against the Covenant. Still, I had not figured out the inner workings of the Mage Union.
I was still an Outer Hall Member. It was best to find an opportunity to leave. I should accept her request and do an investigation.
I was also curious about this hidden wizard organization.
After figuring that out, my gaze fell on Wizard Talia.
"Let me get permission from the higher-ups first," I said to her.
"Thank you, Lord," she said to me.
Then I thought of something and asked her, "How did you end up getting here?"
"I was being hunted down. The royal family seemed to know about me. Ever since I left the country, I had been chased by an unknown group of people."
"I knew they were there to capture me. Only then did I request help from the Magic Palace Head. He said that the True Element Society could not offend them," She added.
