“It seems this is the only way. But…”

Hei Ming’s gaze flickered, reflecting the resplendent Divine Court within the sea of lightning. His eyes grew distant as he spoke,

“He seems to have anticipated this…”

Just then, the Silver-White Dog Demon, crouching on the city gatehouse beside the Exchange Altar, suppressed its intense trepidation and looked toward the Black and White Dual Venerable as they slowly rose to their feet.

“Seniors, are you going to lend my master your strength?”

The Silver-White Dog Demon was racked with anxiety, its body tensed.

If it could, it would have charged into the thunderclouds long ago to follow its master.

But it couldn’t. It bore Su Bai’s charge and could not leave, no matter what.

“You are a good dog.”

Venerable Bai You looked at the Silver-White Dog Demon—its fur standing on end under the might of the Celestial Punishment, though it was still holding its ground—and seemed to guess something.

“Your master left you here to oversee this altar, didn’t he?”

“You are wise, Venerable Bai You. There isn’t much time. Please, both of you, begin the sacrifice at once!”

The Silver-White Dog Demon nodded at once, its eyes filled with worry.

It looked up.

High in the sky, the sea of lightning whipped into a monstrous frenzy, sending terrifying ripples spreading in all directions.

Amidst the chaos, the Divine Court flickered in and out of view as a thousand rays of Divine Light clashed violently with the endless lightning.

Not even a shadow of Su Bai could be seen.

“Did your master have anything else to say?”

Venerable Hei Ming glanced at the Silver-White Dog Demon with a hint of surprise and spoke slowly.

‘This Silver-White Dog Demon is pure of heart. One could call it a peerless genius for cultivation.’

“My master… my master also said…”

The Silver-White Dog Demon hesitated for a moment, but under the gaze of two Celestial Destiny Realm experts, it finally spoke.

“My master also said that you two only need to do as he asked. There is no need to overstep, lest…”

“…lest you become a burden!”

‘A burden?’

The corner of Venerable Hei Ming’s mouth twitched, while Bai You’s eye twitched, a hint of his Evil Qi leaking out.

The horrified Silver-White Dog Demon almost fled for its life!

“Heh!”

But in the next moment, Venerable Hei Ming was already laughing.

“If he doesn’t require our help, then all the better.”

He smiled as if he didn’t care, then said to the stone-faced Bai You,

“Don’t be angry, Second Brother. It’s better that someone else is taking the lead than for us to have to fight to the death.”

“Since he doesn’t need us, we’ll just do what he asked!”

Bai You nodded expressionlessly. Then, he brandished the black rod and spoke in a deep voice,

“Then… sacrifice!”

BOOM!

On the city gatehouse, the black rod erupted with roiling waves of death qi.

A ghastly pallor instantly filled the sky. It spread in all directions with incredible speed, reaching into the depths of the void.

Following a bizarre trajectory, this ghastly pallor instantly pierced through to the Human Realm and spread rapidly across its five continents!

Another beam of white light broke through the heavy thunder and vast yin mist, hurtling toward the depths of the starry sky.

In that instant, the wails of a billion ghosts and gods seemed to echo between heaven and earth.

The sound was one of wailing ghosts and weeping gods, plunging any who heard it into the depths of sorrow, a sound that brought with it decay and grief.

It was a sound that could not be drowned out, not even by the clash of Divine Techniques and lightning high in the celestial dome.

ROAR!!

As the sound of wailing ghosts echoed in all directions, an irrepressible and terrifying roar suddenly erupted from within the Netherworld!

RUMBLE!

For a moment, the earth shook, the mountains swayed, and the raging sea churned!

The Sea of Netherworld, as black as ink—a confluence of all the Yin Sha Resentful Qi from time immemorial—suddenly began to boil!

Countless great waves rolled forth, carrying with them an indescribable, putrid stench.

They instantly surged toward the heavens!

Wherever the waves crashed, the very void was dyed pitch-black, as if poisoned to death.

The Silver-White Dog Demon’s body trembled from the shock, and it immediately looked toward the source of the sound.

It saw, leagues away, amidst towering spouts of black water, a behemoth—part Dragon, part roc—erupt from the waves with a thunderous roar!

Its body was serpentine and immense, a colossal pillar connecting the earth to the sky!

The moment the behemoth broke the surface, it let out a furious roar!

“Bai You!!”

…

“Peng!”

Outside the Netherworld Giant City, Jin Yunfeng and the others had just found a moment of respite. When they saw the massive monster that seemed to prop up the heavens, their hearts lurched.

The monster had the head and Dragon Horns of a Dragon, its body covered in golden Dragon Scales, yet it also had the form of a roc. It was a bizarre sight.

And that appearance clearly belonged to the legendary Peng Xiong—reputed to be the most savage and terrifyingly powerful of the Seven Heroes and Three Li!

“What in the world are those two planning?”

Nianxin Daoist Child looked toward the two black and white figures, barely visible on the city walls, his heart filled with confusion.

Only Chen Shaoyou paid no mind to the unending roars. His entire being was focused on the resplendent Divine Court.

He muttered under his breath,

“So, this is the Boxing Saint Divine Court…”

At this moment, nothing else existed in his eyes or his mind—only the majestic Divine Court.

He strained with all his might, trying to brand every detail onto the depths of his soul.

‘This is the origin of all Divine Techniques, a legend that will be passed down for tens of thousands of years, worthy of being called the King of Divine Techniques!’

‘Even if I gain nothing from it now, as long as I memorize it, I might one day comprehend my own Great Divine Technique!’

SPLASH!

The Sea of Netherworld surged with monstrous waves.

“Peng” roared with fury, as if it would overturn the entire Sea of Netherworld.

Thick yin mist, mingled with the ink-black water of the Netherworld, formed into a thousand chains that bound its body.

On each of the chains, the yin mist roiled, and twisted human faces could be faintly seen flickering in and out of existence.

And within the ghastly white radiance emanating from the black rod, the chains instantly seemed to ignite. Like a thousand venomous snakes, they bored deep into Peng Xiong’s body.

Instantly, its flesh was rent open and its blood evaporated!

“Peng” tilted its head back and roared at the sky, an earth-shattering bellow.

“Such humiliation! This is utter humiliation!”

“You suppressed me for thousands of years, and now you want to use me as a sacrifice!”

“Bai You, you truly deserve to die!!”

BOOM!

A colossal wave crashed down from the sky. Countless streams of Thunder Essence Qi collided with the ink-black Yin Sha Resentment Qi, the two energies grinding against and corroding one another.

Instantly, incomparably tragic wails erupted.

RATTLE!

Countless chains suddenly pulled taut.

Beside itself with rage, Peng Xiong struggled and roared, trying to break free from the bonds of the Sea of Netherworld.

But the Sea of Netherworld was a confluence of all the Yin Sha Resentment Qi from time immemorial, making it impossibly heavy.

No matter how wildly Peng Xiong struggled, how could it possibly break free in such a short amount of time?

“So what if we sacrifice you?”

Bai You stood atop the city wall. He and Venerable Hei Ming both turned to look at the roaring Peng Xiong upon the Sea of Netherworld.

His gaze was aloof and cruel.

“From the day you were all suppressed, your fate was sealed!”

The Seven Heroes and Three Li were born of Yin Sha Resentment. They are immortal, indestructible, and utterly evil beings who have made countless generations of Cultivators tremble in terror.

‘To us, however, they are nothing more than ten wastes of space. They possess Divine Techniques and power but have no idea how to wield them.’

‘Aside from their immortality, there is nothing about them worthy of our notice.’

‘And that’s not to mention this Elder Demon has been sealed in the Sea of Netherworld for thousands of years. We’ve figured out everything about it.’

“Just a stupid insect. Why waste so many words?”

Hei Ming’s expression was cold and detached.

BOOM!

As his voice trailed off, Bai You’s black rod erupted in a brilliant flash of light!

HISS!!

In an instant, the entire Sea of Netherworld ignited. The ink-black Yin Sha Qi was instantly set ablaze by the light, erupting into jets of ghastly white flame.

The flames shot toward the heavens, spreading along the chains.

In the blink of an eye, they had completely enveloped the endlessly roaring Peng Xiong.

Then, with an earth-shattering BOOM, the cage of raging flames nearly uprooted the entire Sea of Netherworld.

It dragged the screaming and roaring Peng Xiong toward the city gatehouse.

Or more precisely, toward the Exchange Altar!

High in the sky, within the cage, Peng Xiong’s eyes looked ready to split from sheer fury as it roared to the heavens:

“We are immortal and indestructible!”

“Bai You! Hei Ming! When I return, I will tear you into ten thousand pieces!”
