Harem System In A fantasy World

Chapter 446: Ark Of Infinity

Elion’s steps slowed. "She did not say anything?"

"No. She only said it was a family matter."

Aria’s lips pressed together, "But knowing Mira, if she called it a family matter, then it was probably troublesome enough that she did not want the rest of us involved."

Elion clicked his tongue softly, "I think someone may have found her before she reached you."

Aria’s hand tightened around his arm, "And you think it was her father?"

"I do not know yet."

"But if it is her father, then he is taking her somewhere."

Aria’s eyes sharpened, "So we are going to follow."

"Yes..." He nodded and looked at Aria.

She looked as beautiful as ever, no doubt, but her face was still pale from crying earlier, and her eyes were still puffy and a bit red.

Her silky blue hair was also a bit messy, from smothering and brushing herself against him a bit too much. He briefly considered leaving her at the manor as well, but he doubted she would agree to such a thing.

And he did not want to wait any longer to follow Mira’s trail, so it would be quicker to just take her with him instead. The thought brought a smile to his face, and he shook his head wryly.

So many troublesome women in his life, but that also meant time in the bedroom was never going to be short of fun, so he was not complaining.

Elion pulled Aria along as he considered the best way to close in on Mira.

He briefly wondered if it would have been quicker to locate her if he had already merged with the World Eyes, since the eyes claimed to have godlike sight.

His imagination was running wild. Perhaps they would give him a long-range perspective on a target, no matter how far away they were. And since the grade was unknown, if their capabilities were not at least this exaggerated, then the hidden grade would not be worth the hype.

’I really need to merge with them soon,’ he thought. That did not mean he was out of options.

Perhaps he could take Aria into a princess carry, transform into his draconic form using Bloodline Transformation, and take to the skies. But that method would be far too conspicuous.

Flying through a restricted airspace was one surefire way to get himself in trouble unnecessarily.

Next, he thought about one of the other five rewards he had picked, deciding which one would be most useful in this situation. There was honestly only one right choice among them.

He pulled out the artefact’s status.

[Ark of Infinity]

[Description: An ancient relic created by the Orikari as a transportation alternative to mounts. Built to be a faster, more durable, and relentless alternative to the common modes of travel. The laws of space written in the vessel’s crafting formation make its interior hundreds of times larger than what it looks like from the outside. For comparison, at full strength, the vessel is large enough to be the size of a large manor.]

[Additional notes: The interior is built with furnishings, and while the vessel functions primarily on autopilot, a cockpit was also added for manual control.]

[The vessel’s full range of capabilities is limited by the owner’s understanding of formations, specifically the ship’s control formation. However, the first tier is available for basic use by anyone permitted by the primary owner on autopilot. Higher tiers can be accessed by understanding and mastering the vessel’s control formation.]

[Current tier: Tier One]

[Artefact grade: Ancient Relic]

[Enchantments: Semi-sentient ark spirit, Supreme Protection Shield, Self-regenerating Mana Core, Damage Repair, Self-Maintenance, Furnishing, Artillery Spell Cannons, Mana-powered Sage Level Speed Thrusters, Invisibility and Presence Erasing Functions, Embedded Space Folding, Healing/Recovery Pods.]

It was finally time to try out this absolutely absurd artefact. It did not need to be said why this would be useful to him.

He had been considering giving it to Mira, but it sucked that most of its functions were locked behind the higher tiers. He had not even tried looking at this control formation yet, hell, he hadn’t even used it yet, but he was looking forward to truly unravelling the vessel’s full capabilities.

That meant Elion would be forced to delve into the world of crafting and formation masters soon, but it was a necessary sacrifice for such a useful item.

If it came down to it, he would let one of the girls become a formation master instead. Isla would probably have a much easier time figuring it out, since crafting and formation mastery were so closely linked together.

That way, he could take his time learning formations in a leisurely manner. But considering that comprehension trial, perhaps he had a decent talent in this field, who knows.

This ship would be useful for his women to move around. If he needed them to come to him instead of the other way around. He could literally fly with his wings now, so he did not technically need such a vessel to move around on his own.

Not to say he would not use it. Maybe he would not like flying around with his draconic wings as much as he thought he would.

He had yet to take his wings for a spin, but he was already looking forward to soaring through the skies like a bird. Well, a man-bird, or Dragon: Whatever one would call it.

Who did not covet the birds’ ability to fly?

Everyone dreamed of becoming powerful enough to soar through the skies like some skilled wind mages, or most Archmages and higher.

’The Orikari, the ones who made this, whoever they were, are absolute geniuses,’ Elion thought.

What kind of godly intelligence did someone need to create a moving house that could fly, hide itself, protect its passengers, and power itself using ambient mana?

He had not even needed to think much before choosing this reward.

Who would say no to something like that? He was essentially getting a moving house to travel around in, with all the comforts fitted inside!

Who would say no to that?

Elion summoned it, and a circular object the size of a child’s head landed in his palm.

Yes.

It was that small.

The exterior was smooth and shiny silver in colour, with cubic grooves that formed a strange pattern of lines across its surface. It felt like the orb was constantly humming in his hand.

"What is that?" Aria asked when she noticed that something had suddenly appeared in Elion’s free hand, since she was so shamelessly holding onto the other one.

Elion smiled proudly, "I think it is better if I show you instead. Come on, let us go."

Aria frowned.

He looked down at the orb and tugged lightly on the mental connection he had formed with the vessel.

A faint hum of acknowledgement came from within it. Elion’s body suddenly distorted as he was pulled into the sphere, vanishing from the street.

The same thing happened to Aria as well, and the orb also vanished from sight.

A few people on the street were left dumbfounded. Were they going crazy, or had a young couple just vanished in plain sight?

However, the invisible sphere was already zooming into the skies and flying toward Mira’s position.
