Harem System: Spending Money On Women For 100% Rebate!

Chapter 379 - 379: Final Preparations.

The next couple of days passed in a pleasant, almost dreamlike blur for Kyle. Time seemed to stretch and compress at once inside the spacious apartment that had become their temporary sanctuary. Sunlight filtered through tall windows during the day, casting warm patterns across modern furniture and scattered belongings, while evenings brought soft lamplight and the low hum of conversation that filled the space with life.

Kyle stayed with Cassandra and Jane, the three of them settling into an easy rhythm that felt surprisingly natural. Mornings started with shared coffee in the open kitchen, lazy breakfasts where Cassandra teased Jane about her terrible pancake-flipping skills and Jane retaliated by stealing the best pieces of fruit from Cassandra's plate. Kyle moved between them with quiet confidence, his presence anchoring the group even as he handled discreet calls and arrangements in the background.

Ella joined them shortly after, arriving with a small suitcase and a mixture of nerves and anticipation written across her face. This was the first time Jane had seen her since learning about Ella sleeping with Kyle. Ella braced herself for awkwardness — stiff greetings, sideways glances, maybe even tension thick enough to cut. She had replayed the possible scenarios in her head during the ride over, steeling herself for discomfort.

Instead, the moment Ella stepped through the door, Jane's face lit up with genuine delight. "Ella!" Jane exclaimed, practically bouncing across the living room. Without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around Ella in a tight, enthusiastic hug, squeezing hard enough to make Ella laugh in surprise. "I'm so glad you're here. We're all staying together now, right? Indefinitely. No take-backs."

Ella returned the hug, her tension melting away in an instant. "Yeah… indefinitely," she murmured, voice soft with relief. She had expected jealousy or coldness, but Jane showed no signs of change — only excitement and warmth, as if this new dynamic was the most natural thing in the world.

Kyle stood a few steps away, watching the interaction with a faint smile. He caught Ella's eye over Jane's shoulder. She had sent him that pointed message earlier, complete with a very specific threat about what would happen if he hurt Jane. He had half-expected her to march straight up to him and deliver at least a verbal smackdown, maybe even carry out part of her warning in private.

But all Ella could do was smile.

She couldn't stop smiling. It started small, a curve at the corners of her mouth, then grew until it lit up her entire face. This — all of them together under one roof, no secrets tearing them apart, no one left on the outside — was something she never thought would happen in a million years. Yet here it was, unfolding right in front of her. The relief and quiet joy were almost overwhelming. She pulled back from Jane's hug just enough to look at Kyle, her smile softening into something warmer, more intimate. "You're really doing this," she said quietly, almost to herself.

Kyle stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "We're doing this," he corrected gently. "All of us."

Cassandra watched from the kitchen island, a playful smirk on her lips as she sipped her coffee. "Look at you two being all cute and domestic. Should I be jealous, or do I get in on the group hug next?"

Jane laughed and immediately pulled Cassandra into the circle, turning the moment into a slightly clumsy but heartfelt tangle of arms. "No one's left out. That's the rule now."

Ella's laughter joined theirs, bright and genuine. "Careful, Jane. You're going to smother us before we even get passports."

The days continued in that warm haze. They spent hours talking — sometimes serious conversations about what leaving everything behind would mean, other times lighthearted banter that had them all laughing until their sides hurt. One evening, while sprawled across the large sectional couch watching an old movie, Jane nudged Ella with her foot.

"So… how weird is this for you?" Jane asked, voice teasing but curious. "Sleeping with my boyfriend and now living with us?"

Ella flushed but didn't look away. "Honestly? Less weird than I thought it would be. You make it easy, Jane. Both of you do." She glanced at Kyle, who was lounging at the other end with Cassandra tucked against his side. "I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but… it hasn't."

Kyle reached over and squeezed Ella's ankle gently. "No shoes dropping. We talk about everything. That's how this works."

Cassandra grinned, resting her head on Kyle's shoulder. "Exactly. And if anyone tries to make it weird, I'll handle them. I've got years of practice dealing with difficult people."

Jane sat up straighter, eyes sparkling. "Speaking of difficult — when do we get our passports sorted? I want to start planning what we're packing. I've never left the country before. What if I forget something important like… chocolate?"

Kyle chuckled. "Passports are already being handled. I pulled a few strings. We'll have them faster than normal channels would allow."

True to his word, the process moved with surprising speed. Kyle's resources cut through bureaucracy like a hot knife through butter — discreet calls, expedited appointments, and quiet favors exchanged behind the scenes. Within two days, they were sitting in a private office getting their photos taken and documents processed. Ella watched Kyle handle the arrangements with quiet admiration, the way he spoke calmly to officials and smoothed over any potential delays.

"This is exactly what you do, isn't it?" Ella murmured to him while they waited for the final stamps. "Make impossible things simple."

Kyle shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "When it matters, yeah. I'm glad it's working out this way. For all of us."

Cassandra leaned in from his other side, voice low and teasing. "Admit it — you like playing hero for us."

"Maybe a little," Kyle admitted, kissing the side of her head. "But mostly I just want us somewhere safe where we can figure the rest out together."

Jane bounced lightly in her seat. "Somewhere with beaches? Or mountains? Or both? I vote both."

Ella laughed softly. "We'll vote on it later. Right now I'm just happy we're doing this at all."

Kyle was genuinely glad things were falling into place so smoothly. The women around him brought a lightness he hadn't realized he was missing, their interactions easy and affectionate in ways that felt right. Yet beneath the contentment, one loose end tugged at him — one person he had unintentionally abandoned in the whirlwind of recent events.

Nate.

Kyle reached out that same afternoon, sending a quick message to arrange a meeting before he left the country. Nate responded almost immediately, his excitement clear even through text.

The evening of their departure preparations, Kyle stepped into a quiet, upscale restaurant downtown — the kind of place with dim lighting, crisp white tablecloths, and waitstaff who moved like shadows. Nate was already there, seated at a corner table with a perfect view of the room. When he spotted Kyle, his face broke into a wide, genuine grin. He stood up quickly, looking every bit the young man who still looked up to Kyle like an older brother or mentor.

"Kyle! Man, it's good to see you," Nate said, shaking his hand firmly before pulling him into a quick, back-slapping hug. "How are you?"

Kyle sat down across from him, signaling the waiter for drinks. "I'm managing. Better than I expected, actually. How about you? Everything still solid on your end?"

Nate nodded eagerly, eyes bright. "Thanks to you, yeah. The opportunities you set up, it's all coming together. I don't know how to thank you enough. You basically secured my future, Kyle. I mean that."

Kyle leaned back, a faint smile touching his lips as he studied the younger man. Nate's enthusiasm was refreshing, a reminder of simpler ambitions amid the complicated web he was currently untangling.
