Heaven, Earth, Me

Chapter 1622. Yasenia’s Girls vs Golden Giant.

Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622. Yasenia’s Girls vs Golden Giant.

The Golden Giant looked around and drew its golden sword. Its body activated the inner strengthening abilities, and right after, it stomped the ground and rushed toward Cecile.

Cecile’s body flickered away, her icy blue eyes glancing at the Golden Giant with a trace of amusement. "Impatient."

But as she spoke, her face changed slightly, and she quickly dodged to the side. The Golden Giant had turned around, slashing the air and creating a massive golden crescent that almost struck where Cecile had reappeared.

’Energy tracing?’

While blinking away with Space Energy was powerful, it was not flawless when the enemy could read energy signatures. If the space user’s skills were subpar, knowing where they would appear after teleporting was not impossible.

Before the Golden Giant could move again, Andrea, riding Vairon, moved in front of him. "You are too impatient. Come fight!"

Sun and Metal energy surged, covering both Andrea and Vairon in a molten layer that soon solidified into reddish-black armor. Vairon roared, his black-colored dragon breath scorching forward.

The Golden Giant moved its sword vertically, slicing Vairon’s dragon breath in half. Andrea clicked her tongue. "There is indeed a difference in firepower."

Vairon grumbled. "Don’t compare me to Lady Yasenia. I will feel hurt!"

Andrea laughed, her halberd pointing forward. "[Dragon Rider Sun Lance]."

Andrea’s phantom, scaled up to match the shrunken Vairon, manifested a giant golden lance. The next second, energy surged from Andrea and Vairon, their bodies rushing forward at a very high speed.

The Golden Giant stepped forward as well, the sword tracing a wide arc and accurately clashing with Andrea’s golden lance.

While this happened, the rest had moved into position.

The lance broke down, the Golden Giant’s strength sending Andrea and Vairon backward. As the Golden Giant was about to move, a giant and sleek lobster blocked its path. Ebirah’s crystalline, pink carapace and exotic golden markings made her agile figure look graceful and elegant.

BANG!

Ebirah’s large pincers were blasted backward, a nick appearing on her carapace from the impact.

That small delay helped Kali and Angel, though. Kali summoned a swarm of plant creatures, her Life Energy moving along her fox tails. Where the summons appeared, Angel spread out a formation that strengthened their armors with a mix of Blood and Glass energies.

Then, she waved her hand sideways, threads of blood moving out of her wrist and mixing with the glass around them. A massive light formation manifested behind Angel. "Go."

The Golden Giant, slaughtering through the hordes of plant creatures, felt a sense of danger and quickly activated its movement technique, dodging to the side. As soon as it did, Angel’s attack formation grazed its size with an iridescent red beam. The red light, surrounded by the shifting colors, looked both ominous and sacred.

As the Golden Giant dodged, another threat came from above, and looking over, giant arrows overcharged in destructive Moon and Space Energies fell from the sky. Its helmet glowed golden, the sword speeding up and transforming into a blur.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The Golden Giant moved back and forth between the girls, dodging, parrying, and killing Kali’s summons with terrifying efficiency and strength.

Evelyn and Sierra supported from the side as well, sending white, blue, and black electric arcs or weapon constructs.

Yasenia looked at their complex, coordinated attack with satisfaction. Individually, the Golden Giant was vastly superior to the girls. Among them, probably only Angel could face it without taking Valeria or Mirrory into account.

’Angel is acting more as a support than a main force. She most likely wants to let the rest of the girls experience the fight.’

While Angel’s formation flashed around the battlefield without end in sight, most of the effects were either defensive or supporting. Even when she attacked, she only did so to disrupt the Golden Giant’s flow.

’What a sublime battlefield control.’

As someone with a War related Intent Domain, Yasenia deeply understood tactics and war flow. Angel’s efforts did not go unnoticed. All of them were doing great, but Angel was just a notch above the rest.

’Mirrory has truly taught her well.’

Kali’s commanding ability and battlefield awareness were also top notch. The few times that the Golden Giant landed an effective blow on either Ebirah or Vairon, her healing energies arrived without a single trace of delay. It was as if she was predicting each and every important injury.

’Cecile and Evelyn are also doing great.’

They couldn’t be the protagonist of the battle. However, that didn’t make them greedy or restless. Both of them were completing their offensive roll perfectly together with their mounts.

Cecile’s arrows landed, Evelyn’s attacks chipped away at the Golden Giant’s defense, and Sierra and Fylia moved around the battlefield agilely with Angel and Kali on their backs.

’Finally... Andrea.’

Yasenia couldn’t help but look at her closely. Andrea was fighting on the front lines, several defensive skills coating her and Vairon. While Andrea did have some wide-area-of-effect skills that followed her previous combat methods, Yasenia saw that she was restraining herself.

’That’s a good decision.’

Right now, Andrea didn’t need to injure the Golden Giant. Her role was one: being a wall. Wherever the Golden Giant wanted to move, either Ebirah or Andrea should appear, disturbing its freedom of movement.

All of them together caused Yasenia to sigh in admiration. "They are doing exceptionally well."

The seniors agreed with Yasenia. The opponent was a Level 9 Transcendence Ranked equivalent. While the golem would lose to most Level 9 Transcendence Ranked, that didn’t mean its attacks were any less dangerous.

The fact that this golem could push Yasenia so hard showed just how strong they were. Mirrory glanced at Angel and spoke. "Hm... Angel is being a bit too considerate, though."

Yasenia nodded. "That’s true. She is holding back far too much."

Tatyana crossed her arms. "Her formations are also a touch too general in effect. She could aim for more specific effects."

"She can," Mirrory spoke. "That’s why I said she is holding back far too much."

The Golden Giant suddenly sped up, moving around Ebirah’s giant body and slashing at Vairon. The eastern dragon barely defended himself with Andrea’s help. Using the small advantage, the Golden Giant moved like a golden shadow, slaughtering Kali’s summons and appearing in front of her.

It had noticed that among all of them, this woman was the most dangerous. Her healing skills were far too superior to be left alone. Even if the Golden Giant pierced someone’s heart, this woman would most likely return them back to normal instantly.

Kali was not nervous. Fylia, the ten-eyed qilin, moved her clawed foot quickly, dodging the barrage of attacks with ridiculous agility and speed.

Angel moved over, momentarily jumping from Sierra’s back and summoning her body-height shield and large sword. The Golden Giant looked at Angel and attacked back.

However, as it did so, Angel’s hair and eyes changed. Her blonde, blue-eyed looks transformed into a red-haired, emerald-eyed beauty. Then, her body accelerated tremendously, and the Golden Giant and Angel exchanged hundreds of moves in a single second.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Her sword and shield collided with the Golden Giant’s attacks, perfectly blocking and counterattacking. That moment of perfect defense allowed the formation to recover, and Andrea arrived.

"[Dragon Rider’s Erupting Sun]."

BOOM!

The Golden Giant didn’t have any other choice but to turn around to face Andrea. While her attacks were not that threatening, if it were hit, things could go wrong very quickly.

Angel jumped onto Sierra’s back, looking at everything with her indifferent emerald eyes. Sierra spoke softly. "Great job. Your sword and shield mastery is superb."

Angel’s soft voice rang out. "Thank you, Sierra. Move to that area for now."

"Understood." Sierra’s body flickered like lightning.

Evelyn looked closely, her exotic purple eyes flickering with electricity as she zipped around the battlefield for opportunities. Her unblinking eyes followed each and every single moment of the Golden Giant movements.

’...Now.’

Her body descended like lightning, and, as if expecting it, the Golden Giant turned around and slashed her way. However, Evelyn’s eyes didn’t even blink at that motion. Giant arcs of lightning soared around Evelyn, and a second later, her already incredible speed increased further. She dodged and even stopped the golden Sword, her figure crossing the distance between the sword and the Golden Giant’s chest in a fraction of a second.

"Begone."

Her spear struck with the strength of a thousand thunderbolts.

BOOM!

The armor of the Golden Giant dented, its foot taking a few steps back. As it recovered its stance, Cecile’s arrows rained down from the sky, piercing its arm joints, shoulders, and knees.

The Golden Giant’s movement stiffened for a second, the golden light below the helmet turning ferocious. A second later, a pillar of golden light soared around it.

"Be careful!"

Andrea warned, and the next second, the Golden Giant’s movements blurred, the sword slashing around like a storm.

Its attacks slashed through the summons, killing dozens with each passing moment. A second later, the Golden Giant had, once more, made its way to Kali.

Kali waved her hand, summoning a giant root wall in front, but even this was cut down while barely holding the Golden Giant back. Kali frowned for a second. "Dangerous."

At that moment, the sky above the Golden Giant was covered in a three-layered ring formation, followed by a cold voice.

"Kneel."

BOOM!

A pillar of iridescent red light struck it, causing its knees to buckle. The golden light in the helmet’s visor intensified, and with a powerful shockwave, the Golden Giant exploded its strength, shattering the formation like a beast breaking its chains.

Evelyn and Cecile had already prepared their powerful attacks, though. A rain of lightning spears and moon arrows covered the space around it in the tens of thousands. There was absolutely not a single gap between them.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The defensive skill of the Golden Giant cracked and shattered, thousands of attacks falling onto its body and causing severe damage. Andrea spoke. "Good! Keep it up!"

The girls continued their fight for a long time, slowly chipping away at the Golden Giant’s durability. At one point, Evelyn managed to sever one of its arms with a magnificent spear strike.

The next time, Cecile’s arrow struck and pierced the wrist holding the sword, causing its attacks to stagger. From then on, things snowballed quickly.

Despite the Golden Giant’s incredible resistance, the girls managed to whittle it down. When its resistance was low, Evelyn appeared above it and exhaled a long breath while closing her eyes.

When she opened them, golden electricity crackled within her irises. "[Heavenly Thunder God: Thunderclap Decimation]."

RUMLBE!

Evelyn transformed into terrifying lightning bolts, piercing the Golden Giant from top to bottom and finishing the battle.
