Heaven, Earth, Me
Chapter 1683. Dravory Dragon Valley and Shang Family Circumstances.
Chapter 1683: Chapter 1683. Dravory Dragon Valley and Shang Family Circumstances.
Yasenia didn’t realize how fast time was flying until Asterion’s 40th birthday arrived.
Looking at his baby boy, who looked like a 10-year-old, Yasenia was somewhat speechless. ’I am almost 240 already...’
Her baby hatched from the egg when she was 199 years old. Because of that, keeping up with her age by following Asterion’s was not hard.
Looking at her cultivation realm, she couldn’t help but sigh as well. ’I am not even halfway to the Seventh Realm.’
Even after receiving that unexpected boost when they finished off the Evil Heart, her cultivation speed was starting to drag. ’I was thinking of breaking through into the Seventh Realm before I was 1,000 years old... but that seems to be impossible.’
If Tatyana and the other two seniors had heard her words, they would’ve rolled their eyes to the sky. Even in their best estimations, Yasenia would need at least 10,000 years to reach the Seventh Realm.
The Seventh Realm was not a matter of gathering energy, but understanding a [Law]. The time needed to truly understand and assimilate a [Law] was never measured in centuries. Even in the Divine Realm, when Mirrory had been Fu Jing Jing’s treasure, Mirrory had never heard of geniuses reaching the Seventh Realm before 1,000 years old.
Remember that, in the Divine Realm, the energy concentration was such that, if it were compared to oxygen, Yasenia’s current environment could be considered equivalent to the Moon’s surface.
Either way, Yasenia and the rest celebrated Asterion’s 40th birthday, and with it, they also decided to open their power to the outside. Behemoth Senior had also settled in their valley, acting as a protective guardian beast.
Yasenia approached him and asked. "How are your injuries, senior?"
Valeria, Kali, and the other alchemist maids had been healing this senior. Thanks to that, his strength was slowly returning, and his cracked Beast Core was mending. His strength was about to reach the Ninth Level of the Mythical Core Beast Realm.
The mountain-sized behemoth laughed. "I am doing great, Young Yasenia. I never thought I would recover this fast!"
Yasenia also smiled at him. "I also never expected Senior to be guarding such a treasure tree. It will be quite useful for us."
The reason this ancient behemoth was hiding here was not only to avoid his rivals. There was a Heavenly Tree that was about to bear its fruits. Those fruits would help recover his strength quite a bit, as they had taken over 20,000 years to mature.
The tree’s name was [Carp Jumping Peach Tree]. Not an impactful name at first, but when the myth of a carp jumping over a waterfall to become a dragon came to mind, the meaning deepened.
The tree had 28 fruits, and each person could eat one in their lifetime. The minimum requirement was being an immortal cultivator or beast.
It was an unexpected but welcome windfall. Since there were not enough for all the maids yet, Yasenia created a competition for them to get one.
Of course, she would reserve one for the following: Andrea, Ebirah, Vairon, Angel, Evelyn, Sierra, Cecile, Fylia, Kali, Valeria, Tatyana, Asterion, Feixue, Soluna, and herself. She would also reserve an extra five for the new children growing in her lover’s bellies.
That left 8 free fruits for the maids.
Speaking of competitors, Zephyrith, who silently followed them all this time, was also going to compete. Her strength was not bad, but Zephyrith, the wolf woman, had long given up on becoming a top powerhouse.
Instead, she had focused on her Fate Attribute development and gotten some tips from Tatyana.
While she spent quite a bit of time with Sierra, the rest was always spent cultivating and strengthening herself. Also, Sierra and Zephyrith were trying to conceive a few pups. Remember that Zephyrith was just like Yasenia.
Still, since Sierra and Zephyrith weren’t as exceptionally fertile as Yasenia, their attempts had yet to bear fruit.
Yasenia never felt Zephyrith was a burden. She was a Level Three Sixth Realm cultivator who had mastered the Soul and Spiritual Path.
Remember that Zephyrith came from Distancia, so she was someone who grew up with the Body Cultivation path. Still, Zephyrith gave it up to focus on the other two paths.
Such a reckless choice proved to be extremely successful. With Evelyn’s help during the years away from Yasenia, Zephyrith found her talent for the Soul and Spiritual Paths to be much stronger than for the Body Path.
Her Fate attribute also blossomed beautifully. So, while she didn’t catch up to them, she was stubbornly following behind them and never being left out.
Therefore, Yasenia decided to give her one of the fruits for all her efforts. After all, even if she competed, winning was impossible.
The maids were not sad, nor did they feel injustice at Yasenia’s decision. They all had also seen Zephyrith’s efforts. Not that their own were lacking in comparison, not in the slightest.
Regardless, having transplanted the [Carp Jumping Peach Tree] to Yasenia’s ring, its fruit cycle had been shortened massively. Now, Yasenia would receive a batch of fruit every 100 years or so.
If they even replanted a few of the fruits, the number of fruits would soar, and eventually, every single maid would receive one. So, it was a matter of who got them first.
Tatyana gathered everyone and smiled. "Alright. It is time to make our presence known to the outside world! The Dravory Family is about to soar!"
Yasenia smiled, feeling excited. It was always a thrill when they prepared to tackle another world and take it by storm. Secret Realms, Ancient Tombs, Hidden Inheritances, Forgotten Paradises... All the resources of this world were waiting for Yasenia to sink her fangs into them!
Yasenia raised her hand, a large formation core glowing within it. "Activate!"
Blinding light flashed, and formation lines covered the entire valley and its sky. The formation that they had used for the Evil Heart also activated, causing a large protective dome to manifest in a grandiose manner.
The spectacular light show lasted for over an hour, and after that, only a faint, transparent layer remained in the sky. Unless you squinted, detecting it would be almost impossible.
This place was now under their protective and attack formations. "[Dravory Dragon Valley]... Secured!"
Naturally, Yasenia immediately branded this place with her family surname. They had worked quite hard to get it, so it was a necessary action.
Shang Qinqin was also nearby, standing together with everyone else. Even when Yasenia understood her intentions, she didn’t chase her away. If she wanted to try, she just gave her the go-ahead.
’She will eventually give up or ask to become a maid either way.’
Truthfully, Yasenia didn’t have many expectations beyond Qinqin becoming a new maid. That was not a bad evaluation, as Yasenia accepted only those she considered potential mates as her maids.
However, that kind of thinking would become a sturdy wall for Qinqin to bring down. In a way, she was... maid-zoned? Either way, if Qinqin truly wanted to aim for the wife position, she had a long way in front of her.
As Yasenia was looking around, she felt Shang Qinqin appear by her side and smile at her. "Yasenia, I have already prepared to contact my family. This place is slightly separated from the central continent. However, teleportation formations can easily cover such inconveniences. I’ve already checked with Angel, and everything is in place on our side."
Yasenia nodded and asked. "So, you are asking to follow through with your plan?"
Qinqin nodded, her eyes bright and sincere. "Yes. Come with me to the central area. We can pass by a city I own and place the teleportation formation there, inside a mansion. That way, we can move back and forth without much effort."
Yasenia crossed her arms below her voluptuous chest in thought. Her dragon tail swished back and forth as well. "Won’t it be costly to move so often? Teleportation formations use quite a few spiritual stones, right?"
Angel hugged Yasenia’s arm. "Hehe. We modified that to use our energy. It’s inefficient, but each of us has more than enough energy to move back and forth without burden. As long as we don’t move back and forth daily, we will have no problems. It is also a good way to use our accumulated energy."
Yasenia blinked and smiled. "Since that’s the case, let’s do it."
Asterion, being now 40 years old, was still considered a young dragon. Nevertheless, his dependency on Yasenia had become much fainter. Not because he stopped loving Yasenia, but because he had gained a certain amount of maturity.
"Aster, love, stay behind with Feixue and follow Senior Behemoth’s words. The forest outside is a perfect hunting and training ground for both of you. So, take advantage of that."
Asterion and Feixue nodded. Yasenia also left behind 49 maids, enough to create a second-tier Immortal Big Dipper Battle Formation.
That way, they would be reassured. Zephyrith spoke with a smile. "I will also stay behind. I need to enter closed-door cultivation to advance some of my insights."
Yasenia nodded at her. "Very well. Let’s move out."

Meanwhile, in the central continent, a healthy old man smacked his cane down with a big frown. "That girl! She disappeared without a word for a few decades, and now she speaks like this!? Someone, take a few of our elite soldiers and carry her back, even if she kicks the air and cries! Does she think that her position is something that can be handled so thoughtlessly!?"
The people around trembled under his aura. He was a bona fide Half-Step cultivator who had approached the Seventh Realm. In terms of strength, the old man had been at the very top of the continent. At least, in his prime.
Now that he was slowly reaching the end of his lifespan, his strength had begun to falter. Nevertheless, no one took his words lightly.
The Shang Old Man sighed after he saw a few dozens of elite members fly off like light beams. ’That girl... sigh.’
He was quite pleased with her. However, that girl was too curious for her own good. The times she had caused trouble because something piqued her interest were not few. Plus, while he treated her fondly, she was not the only Shang Family Heir fighting to become the next head.
If she caused trouble, he would have no other choice but to choose another favorite. While he had raised her for over 5,000 years, he would not let this cloud his judgment.
Looking sideways, he asked. "How are the marriage talks going with the Imperial Family?"
"They are advancing properly, Ancestor Shang. Still, the other side doesn’t seem receptive because of our merchant background."
Ancestor Shang snorted. "That old fart doesn’t know how to repay goodwill. Whatever, just keep the talks alive. We will see how things develop."
