Chapter 89: Nio’s Perspective Part 1

"...H-Hmmm?" I feel heavy, something seems wrong, a strange and intense weight pressing down on me that only grows stronger as sleep and lethargy fade and I become more aware of my body.

"A-Ahn?" The sensation wakes me because the discomfort overpowers what little sleep I had. I sit up in bed until my eyes open fully and I see my body.

"H-Hyaa!!? Wh-What the hell is this!!" I look at my belly, it’s huge like a woman pregnant with twins, my wings flare out aggressively as my breathing turns ragged and my heart races in panic.

"!!!" For a brief moment panic gives way to clarity and I remember Nioh saying something about an egg, but I was so sleepy I couldn’t even understand what she was talking about.

"NIOH!!!! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!!" I scream her name as I try to get up quickly, but I end up tripping on the sheet, my body reflexively curling into a "ball" as my arms wrap around my belly and my wings and tail protect my body while I roll.

I realize that purely on reflex my body tried to protect this thing, a vile sense of violation washing over me at the fact that my body chose to shield it.

"Nioh!! Say something right now!!!" I yell for Nioh as I notice I’m sweating heavily, and that my body is extremely hot and strangely sticky.

"[...I’m not going to get involved in this, but I’ll tell you a few things so you don’t think you’re dying and to ease your panic a little]"

"You bitch!! You tricked me!!" I say angrily to her for deceiving me.

"[I won’t respond to anything you say, just know the basics. First, your body is very hot and it’s going to get even hotter, so the room will probably catch fire soon. That’s natural and it won’t hurt you. Your body heats up to warm the inside of the egg, which needs it. It should go back to normal once you lay the egg]"

"[Second, your body will change a little. Your wings will probably grow, your tail too. It’s temporary. Maybe some scales will appear on your back at the base of your wings]"

"Listen!!!" I say, somewhat desperate.

"Urghhh!!" I grip the sheets on the bed feeling something strange inside me, the sensation hot and almost suffocating, making me open my mouth and pant, breathing irregularly as I feel like my womb is about to burst.

"[I’ll stop talking now. It seems the egg has reached its maximum size. I’ll give you your time to have privacy and to see that your dragon body isn’t merely a game ’skin’ you thought was cute]"

"W-Wait...ahhh...haaa..." My nails grow as I grab the headboard of the bed, but my hands crush the wood from the grip.

My clothes start getting so hot they turn to ash as I realize I’m no longer "sweating," because my skin is so hot the sweat turns to steam. If I’m this hot, how the "Dragon Gel" isn’t destroyed, I wonder.

In moments my clothes are completely destroyed leaving me naked, which exposes just how huge my belly is for my size.

"Th-This is impossible!! Th-There’s no way something that big can come out of me! Nioh!!" I call out to Nioh, afraid of my own body. Things I don’t control and have never experienced are strange and make me deeply uncomfortable.

I feel weak, trapped in my body in a terribly vulnerable way, which makes it seem like all the power I have is useless to help me.

My intimate area starts leaking this extremely viscous liquid onto the bed, which begins darkening as it burns from my body’s heat.

I touch my protruding belly, feeling how hot it seems inside, feeling some pain even if mild as the egg presses against my walls, scraping against them whenever my body moves.

"Haa...haaa..." A shameful sensation rises between my wings as they start growing larger accompanied by a cracking sound, their skeleton expanding despite becoming lighter, while my tail begins to grow longer and thinner with scales growing more aggressively beneath it and the color pattern reflecting a faint metallic silver.

I pant, feeling saliva in my mouth from the heat and the dry feeling on my lips.

"Nioh...h-help...haaa...th-this is weird..." I end up shamefully begging for help. I don’t know if I’m glad there’s no one else here to see me in such an embarrassing state, or if I’m desperate for not having help. I don’t even know how I’m supposed to lay an egg.

It’s something I’ve never done, and this thing seems immense. Can something so big really come out of me? I’m relatively small, this immense egg has already fully expanded my womb, how can something like this slide through a canal as thin and narrow as the cervix and vagina?

"..." I’m ignored while my wings spread painfully, I don’t even have time to think about whatever advantage this might bring for the future.
