Once a strategy was laid out, Allen's present team members and rest of elemental gods reacted promptly, the first move made by Shea, Dogora and Ignomas, dropping from the back of Dragon King Matildora. 

Meanwhile, Meruru could feel some sort of hidden agenda among the demons. Though, for now, everyone pays their attention to backup their allies. 

Below, Merle was somehow keeping Bask, and the magic sword Onuba, busy, though the demons and archdemons had no enemy, and they acted on their power unhesitatingly. 

From Heavenly Sandal Kingdom's side, the defenders' dragonkin, or the divine soldiers, citizens of Heavenly Kingdom, were joining rapidly. hoping to protect the pyramid-shaped castle.

«Take cover behind my summoned golem, or on the back of insects and commence fire!»

Merle mentally transmitted commands to dragonkin or divine citizens, making use of Bird F's ability.

Demon King's Army was led by two of their executives, 50 archdemons, and 150 demons. Archdemon Gandira was an absolute unit, but even the other demons boasted physique tensof meters tall, allowing them to cover more space with their formation in contrast to their opponents.

On the other hand, confronting them was 30,000 dragonkin, 2000 divine soldiers, and 50 beastkin, and the Insect A and B-rank Summoned Beast. Though the latter was spawning eggs to make up their number, reaching 1000 in numbers. 

Despite the overwhelming majority, they're like a lamb to a wolf, with demons possessing 100,000 stats on average, and archdemon's stats hitting 200,000. There would’ve been no defending line without Merle or the summoned beasts.

With golem, Shea, and Dogora joining the frontline, Merle finally had time to change their strategy for better. He continued to share the summon slots with Allen, adjusting the type of summoned beasts and their number accordingly, while also addressing his command via Bird F's ability, keeping the damage from spreading wide. 

However, his voice didn't reach every dragokin. After all, barely a few dragonkin had heard his voice when he used to be the First Angel. And, while they'd trained more than any human race due to their long lifespan, their range of action was often only around the Spiritual Disturbance Zones. 

They had never experienced a battle inside a populated city, filled with so much chaos, and the accumulating damage was getting to them, making them restless. 

Besides, demons made sure to put squad leaders of archery or spearmen on their target, and whenever they fell, it invited confusion and panic among them. It wasn't just Merle\s voice, dragonkins were so seized with confusion that not even Abigail's voice reached them. 

"I have enough of you bastards! Haaaa!!"

One of the spear-gripped dragonkin, his eyes bloodshot, ignored Merle, and jumped out of his order, leaving Abigail's protection.

"You idiot, stay behind me!!"

"Uoooooo!!"

Three of the nearby demons sneered in contempt, baring their fangs at the young dragonkin. The young dragonkin soon realised his folly, realising that he would be waiting to get hacked apart as soon as his weapon turned into their direction.

Just as it seemed the dragonkin's fate was cemented, Shea made her landing, pinning a demon beneath her feet. The spiritual aura covering her further enlarged her already huge beast form. 

«Grrr!! The Beast - Monster Form.»

Her muscles bulged under her fun, and soon, she turned into a tiger-like beast, towering above all the demons present.  With mere steps, the demon's head popped up like a watermelon. The other two demons rushed to target her, but she gave her tail a flick, blowing them away like a cannonball far beyond. 

"We are here to support, Merle-dono!!"

"Now leave the rest to us, Merle!!"

«Thanks, I really need it!!»

Hearing his comrades' voices, Merle replied, though his glance never left Bask. Raising a rumbling noise, Dogora and Ignomas, each equipped with their respective sacred artifact, landed by either side of Merle. 

«My, OH MY! You got the backup! Now I say this is a true battle!!»

Regardless, Bask instead showed a delighted expression. Could it be, he was a battle junkie?

«Magla and Luvanka, you two fly and target the enemies from above!! We can't stop that giant if we don't deal with the army first!!»

«Hmph, you're dreaming if I give a rat about your order!! Extreme Flames! Grrooowr!!»

Magla retorted sharply, nevertheless he followed the instructions. To him, it was a conflicted emotion to directly act on Merle's command, being the former Dragon God and First Angel he was. He gave his wings a strong flap, and spewed out a raging breath of fire from the sky. 

Meanwhile, Dragon King Matildora hovered his huge silhouette above dragonkins, shielding them from the enemy's ranged attack. 

Magla's breath attack created an opening in the demon's formation, and Luvanka took this chance to sneak inside. He also had transformed into the formless Tempest Beast Incarnation. 

But this wasn't the first time someone tried to break their formation ever since the battle started.

When Luvanka breached deeply into their formation, demons immediately set their target to the two newcomers; Magla and Luvanka. Though Luvanka was almost immune to attacks while in his Tempest Beast Incarnation mode, when a horde of demons set their target on him, even he couldn't escape unscathed. Under the barrage of ranged attacks, he popped into a light bubble.

Next, demons tried to bring down Magla, but he had already taken precaution in case he turned into their target, and had been attacking from a distance. He couldn't avoid all attacks, but he managed to retreat while continuously showering them with his fire breath. 

«Vanguard is the key! We need to bring down their vanguard first, so that we can swipe away mid-guard and rearguard. They're the ones who have the most firepower. This is the only way to make it to Gandira!»

As long as demons were devoted to maintaining their formation, they shouldn't be able to keep their protection circle around Gandira, who continued to carve a path of devastation in the downtown. 

«I got it. Then, let's do it!! Raawwrrr!!»

«Heh, now that's the spirit. Come on, Ninril, show some spirit!! Go, my earthen dolls, overrun those filthy people from the Divine Realm!»

«Tch, don't order me around. Judgement of the Wind!!»

At the hint provided, Shea in her beast god avatar, Earth God, and Wind God launched their offense at the demon's vanguard. The demons were also trying to prevent anyone else from interfering with Bask, and that created the opening they'd required. 

In their current situation, the demon's vanguard was the only one capable of stopping their charge. The rest of the demons behind the frontline had great firepower, but not the durability, making them easy targets in the battle of attrition, so it was the make or break threshold. 

But, would it be so easy? The battlefield was filled with the chanting of demon healers when everyone converged their offense on vanguard.

The healers from the demon's army had created a constant flux of healing, channeling healing as soon as the damage took place, allowing their vanguard to stay immovable. 

Heavenly Kingdom's efforts weren't entirely wasted, though. They converged their attacks on one demon—since archdemons were far more tricky to deal with—at a time, overriding the healing with their damage, and taking them down in that sequence. 

«......Vanguard has lost its 20% force. Initiating the Evil Orb transfer. Transfer location, coordinate determined.»

At the changing situation, Gandira glanced over amidst his search, and uttered shortly. 

—*Fwoosh*

A jet black thing, it should be one meter in size, appeared out of a magic circle in the air, and without any external support, began its free fall.

*Clink* It didn’t fall down to the ground, but hovered at 200 meter altitude. Suddenly, a fissure ran through it, and it broke apart, releasing a burst of darkness. 

«Hagyaaa!?»

«Gyaaahhh!?»

When the radiance of the Evil Orb basked over the crushed demons, they began to rise up, their destroyed head or chest recovering under a grotesque transformation.

«Hey, what the hell is this thing now! Don't tell me they're the same thing as the one said to be in Sword God's martial hall!?»

Dogora was thoroughly perplexed by the resurrection of the monster—not the demons, nothing about their current form made them demon. And with this one trick, all the efforts they'd made to throw off demons failed.

«You think you can afford to divert your attention, eh?!»

«Ugh! Hey, focus on Bask right now!!»

Noticing Dogora’s lack of attention, Bask seized the opportunity and hacked at him with Onuba. Fire God's reprimand echoed out from the sacred artifact Kagutsuchi. 

«......!? Wait, I remember that ominous ray of darkness. It's the same thing Scree shot from its eye!! Everyone, listen closely!! These monsters have become the same Evil Incarnate that had appeared in Elmea Theocracy. They will keep reviving if you defeat them via normal means. We need to pin them down and bind them somehow!!»

Though similarly taken aback, Merle explained the situation to everyone via telepathy transmission. 

Meanwhile, the confusion among demons soon subsided down. Since the majority of them transformed while still alive, they retained what was transpiring, unlike the situation at Space-Time God’s territory.

The demons—revived or transformed while being alive—began their progression, breaching golems or dragonkin's formation. 

The Heavenly Kingdom's side fell into a dilemma. It was like all of their options were suddenly removed; if they tried targeting Gandira, they would immediately be bombarded by long-ranged attacks. And when they finally found some success in defeating vanguard, Gandira's Evil Orb revived them, reverting their advantage. 

Meanwhile, the evacuations of non-combatants had yet to be completed. If they kept losing like this, the collateral damage would keep piling up. 

«I have finished analysis of the current battlefield. As thought initially, the Giant Golem must be destroyed if we would like to have some sort of advantage, and in our current state, the chances are less than 30%. At the suggestion of Meruru, I would like to propose the usage of divine technique.»

Tam-Tam announced the result of his analysis to calculate Gandira's battlepower using his artificial intelligence. It had been devoted to finding a cinch in the current situation to bring tides to their favour. 

At present, Tam-Tam, 14 golems of Admiral Galara's party, and General Zaurele's 10 member golem squad was hovering in the air. They used slate «Giant», and slate «Mega Giant», now reaching 100 metres in size.

Tam-Tam was at the centre of golem’s circle. It used the megaphone, and announced the situation to its comrade. 

"Everyone, let's act on my strategy! We will begin with the Mega Golem Fusion!!"

"Let's go!"

"Indeed, this is the way!"

"Okie~!"

"Just what I had been waiting for!"

"Alright!"

Once the confirmation was made, the dwarves activated their respective skill for the fusion, beginning with the dwarf holding the «Head» Extra Skill in Admiral Galara's party.

"«Head» Brain Master!!"

"«Right Hand» Power Master!!"

"«Torso» Charge Body!!"

"«Legs» Sonic Feet!!"

"«Left Hand» Guardian Hand!!"

The five dwarves invoked their respective Extra Skill, combining to become one bigger entity. The transformation skill required the aforementioned five Extra Skills to transform into Extreme Golem Union. 

Following after the first group, the four others followed suit, and now, five giant golems hovered in the air. 

"W-what's going on!? Why are there suddenly five more giant golems!"

"T-they'r allies, right?!"

A frightening scream let loose from the dragonkins when they saw the giant golems. 

Inside the giant golem's cockpit, Admiral Galara's voice resounded, meant for Meruru, and three other dwarves.

"Alright, the first step is complete. Then, it's time to show them your power, Meruru." 

"I know! Tam-Tam, are we all set?"

«Anytime, Meruru-sama.»

Soon, Meruru's entire body was wrapped in spiritual power. He snapped wide his eyes, and then initiated the next phase, his voice loud and spirited—

«Divine Technique - Ultimate Golem Master! Ultimate Golem Union!!"

He activated his divine technique. 

Like special effects, radiance began to emit from all over the golem he was in, extending and connecting to the nearby four other Super Golems. 

«Activation of Golem Master's Divine Technique confirmed. Initiating fusion signals, suggesting transformation. Please follow the instructions, and initiate the Divine Mega Fusion Golem command.» 

Everyone unhesitatingly accepted Tam-Tam's command, each fiddling with their respective interface from golem’s cockpits.

«...Mana Expansion Confirmed.»

Gandira's eyes blinked in a strange pattern when the huge golem appeared, and enhanced his vigilance. 

"W-what in the name of Creation God is going on,..."

An astounded gasp of Abigail echoed in the area, his eyes trying to size up the giant stature. 

With Admiral Galara's Super Golem at the centre, the other four golems fly toward it, each transforming into certain shapes resembling human libs. When the dust settled, there was only one golem, bigger than anyone from a while ago, left behind.
