Alana cleared her throat. “Well, it’s October now, and it’s getting a bit chilly. I’m kind of in the mood for a hot spring.”

Stephan glanced at her. It was rare for her to bring up the idea of soaking in a hot spring on her own.

Thinking back to the last time they’d soaked in a hot spring together, his throat tightened. “Where would you like to go?”

Alana thought for a moment. “I’d like to go somewhere with snow. So we can soak in the hot spring while admiring the snowy scenery.”

Stephan raised an eyebrow. “You like snow?”

Alana nodded immediately. “I do! I’m from the south... I’d never seen snow growing up. It wasn’t until I came to the city that I saw it for the first time. When it snows, the flakes drift down from the sky, and everything turns white. It’s really beautiful.”

“But it’s not snowing yet. Not until at least November.”

Alana blinked. “Right, never mind then. We’ll just go soak in the hot springs.”

Stephan curved his lips. “Alright, it’s settled for the weekend. We’ll go soak in the hot springs.”

***********

The two returned home and went to the kitchen to cook together.

A man and a woman working together makes the work go by quickly.

When the meal was ready, it was all food Alana loved.

Stephan served her a bowl of rice. “Let’s eat!”

Alana suddenly pulled out her phone. “Wait, I want to take a picture.”

Saying that, she opened the camera app and snapped several photos of the meal he had cooked for her.

Stephan raised an eyebrow. “Why are you taking pictures?”

“I’m copying you... taking a photo to post on my page.”

She rarely posted on her social media, but ever since she’d been with Stephan, she’d gradually picked up his habits.

I want to record every little moment... big and small... of the wonderful days we spend together.

Sure enough, the longer we’re together, the more we really do start to look alike.

Stephan smiled slightly as he patiently waited for her to finish taking the photos.

Seeing that Alana had taken several shots, Stephan urged her, “Hurry up and post it on page so I can like it.”

Alana hesitated. “Actually, what should I write in the caption?”

Stephan raised an eyebrow and said shamelessly, “What’s so hard about that? Just say, ‘My sweet boyfriend cooks for me every day. I’m so happy. Another day where I badly want to marry him.’”

Alana gasped.

Alana wasn’t as thick-skinned as Stephan, so she picked a photo with good lighting and a flattering angle and added a caption.

[My boyfriend made this. It’s delicious.]

After she posted it, she received quite a few likes and comments in no time.

Stephan was the first to like and comment.

However, since their feeds weren’t synced, he could only see his own like and comment on Alana’s post in his own feed.

But then, as if remembering something, he glanced at Alana and asked pointedly,

“Guess what... do you think Cole will see this post you just shared?”

Alana detected a hint of provocation in his tone and snorted, “I don’t know!”

“You didn’t block him, did you?”

“I don’t think so. I don’t remember.”

Stephan chuckled, “So, you still have him on your social media.”

Alana blinked.

She could smell a hint of jealousy.

And it was pretty strong.

“Should I delete him right in front of you?”

“Why delete him? Just let him stay there. Then post some sweet moments of us together on your pages every day and make him green with envy.”

Alana laughed.

After dinner, Stephan took the initiative to clear the table.

Alana praised him for being so domestic.

Stephan teased with a smile, “Hurry up and post it on your page to show off. Just say, ‘A boyfriend this domestic is a rare find, even if you searched high and low.’”

Alana blushed.

This guy was so shameless.

Eve sent her a message: [So jealous! You have a boyfriend who cooks for you. I’m just having instant noodles for dinner.]

Alana: [Why are you eating instant noodles? Isn’t your boyfriend home?]

Eve: [No, he’s out on a business dinner. He’s so busy... he’s out every other day. He doesn’t get back until eight or nine, sometimes even past ten at night.]

Alana: [Poor thing. Do you ever get to go on dates with him?]

Eve: [Not yet. I don’t know what to do on a date with him.]

Alana: [I’m planning to go to a hot spring with my boyfriend this weekend. Why don’t you come with yours too?]

After all, she had never met Eve’s new boyfriend, so she was pretty curious.

Eve: [Great idea! Why didn’t I think of that?]

[But I don’t have a swimsuit.]

Alana: [Me neither.]

Eve: [Then let’s go buy a few together, some cut-out, sexy, peach-shaped swimsuits.]

Alana sighed.

Was this really just a simple hot spring trip?

She never would have guessed that Eve and her boyfriend were such party animals.

Or maybe all men are like that.

After Stephan finished washing the dishes and came out, Alana told him that Eve wanted to go to the hot springs with her boyfriend too.

Stephan chuckled, “Didn’t we agree this was supposed to be our time alone?”

Alana replied earnestly, “It is just the two of us. Eve goes with her boyfriend, and I go with you... it doesn’t affect anything.”

“Besides, I haven’t met her boyfriend yet. I’m actually pretty curious.”

“What’s there to be curious about when it comes to someone else’s boyfriend?”

“You don’t understand. This one is so mysterious. She’s kept him hidden for so long and never brought him out for me to meet.”

Stephan suddenly remembered that once, when Alana had called her best friend, it was her boyfriend who answered the phone.

That voice sounded somewhat familiar to him.

Could it be... someone he knew?

If that were the case, the world would be a small place indeed.

“Fine, let them go if they want to. As long as it doesn’t affect us.”

Alana raised her hand. “I promise it won’t affect you.”

Besides, they’re a young couple... they’ve got their own things to do.

Stephan curved his lips, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and captured her lips in a kiss.

As they kissed, the mood shifted.

Alana was lifted up by the man and placed on the dining table.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, lifted her gaze slightly, and immediately met his eyes... deep and dark, swirling with a fiery intensity.

That look was all too familiar to her.

Thinking about how well he’d behaved today... picking her up from the hospital and cooking for her... she decided he deserved a proper reward.

With that in mind, Alana tilted her head back slightly, parted her red lips, and pressed them against the man’s prominent, sensual Adam’s apple.

The moment she touched him, her warm, moist breath immediately set his Adam’s apple quivering violently.

For a moment, Alana found it rather amusing; she opened her mouth and gave it a gentle nibble.

The sound of him gasping echoed in her ears.

Alana’s mind went blank for a moment.

Oh no, did I hurt him?

Before she could react, he grabbed her chin and lifted it. What followed was his scorching, passionate kiss.

Their breaths entwined recklessly.

Before she knew it, Alana’s body had fallen onto the tabletop.

Fearing she might catch a chill, Stephan took off his black shirt and spread it across the table.

The man’s muscular, well-built physique was fully exposed before Alana’s eyes.

Even though she had seen it many times before, the sight still made Alana’s face flush and her heart race.

What an amazing physique... perfect proportions, even more flawless than most men’s.

Stephan took one of her small hands, leaned down to kiss it, then gently placed her fingers on his well-defined abs.

She gently caressed and stroked them.

He curved his lips into a smile. “If you like it, feel free to touch it more.”

Alana bit her lip as her slender fingers, beyond her control, lingered over his seductive, sexy abs, feeling the texture of his muscles and the sense of explosive power they radiated.

Her face flushed as she recalled certain things.
