Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 816: The Creator’s Ultimate Husband Hunt
The golden radiance surrounding Garion suddenly intensified, swallowing his entire body.
When the light finally disappeared, he found himself standing inside an extraordinary palace surrounded by an endless sea of stars.
Countless galaxies drifted beyond its enormous windows, while magnificent golden pillars stretched toward a ceiling that seemed to have no end.
Garion looked around before scratching his head. "Damn... This place is even fancier than my gym."
A familiar giggle suddenly echoed through the palace. "Hehehe. I’m glad you like it, Garion."
Garion turned toward the voice.
There, seated upon a magnificent golden throne, was the mysterious woman who had created countless systems and arranged the entire competition.
However, unlike before, the golden veil concealing her face had disappeared.
For the first time, Garion could see her true appearance.
She was an unimaginably beautiful woman with long, flowing golden-white hair that shimmered like countless stars.
Her radiant eyes contained ever-changing galaxies, while her flawless features possessed a beauty beyond anything Garion had encountered.
Yet despite her extraordinary appearance, her expression remained playful and mischievous.
Garion blinked several times before grinning. "Hehehe... So that’s what you look like."
The woman tilted her head. "Oh? Is that all you have to say?"
Garion chuckled. "What? You want me to start drooling or something?"
She covered her mouth and giggled. "Hehehe. You’re certainly different from the others."
Garion shrugged before looking around again. "Anyway, now that the competition’s over, mind telling me who you actually are?"
The woman slowly rose from her throne. "My name is Seras."
She descended the golden steps, stopping directly before him. "Although countless beings call me the Creator of All Systems, that title only describes one small part of my existence."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh? So you’re something even crazier?"
Seras smiled. "You could say that. I am a Supreme Existence, someone who stands beyond the gods, the laws of countless universes, and even the civilizations you consider supreme."
She casually raised one finger.
An entire universe appeared above her palm.
Countless stars, galaxies, and living worlds emerged within the miniature cosmic sphere.
Garion stared at it with considerable interest. "Whoa... You made that?"
Seras nodded before gently closing her fingers and the universe disappeared without leaving a trace.
She rolled around her fingers, "Creating or destroying a universe is a rather simple matter for me."
Garion rubbed his chin. "Damn. That’s pretty impressive."
Seras blinked. "Just impressive?"
Garion laughed. "What do you want me to do? Bow down and worship you?"
Seras giggled. "Hehehe. No, thank you. I’ve had enough of that."
Garion suddenly became thoughtful. "Speaking of which, there’s something I’ve been wondering."
Seras tilted her head. "Hmm?"
Garion crossed his arms. "Why did you create all those systems in the first place? And what’s the point of this ridiculous competition?"
Seras’s smile softened slightly.
For a moment, she remained silent.
Then she walked toward one of the enormous windows, gazing at the countless galaxies beyond. "Because I wanted to find someone."
Garion blinked. "Someone?"
Seras nodded. "Someone strong enough to stand beside me. Someone with his own ambitions, determination, and goals."
She slowly turned toward him. "Someone who wouldn’t worship me simply because I’m powerful, and who could eventually share my life."
Garion stared at her. "...Huh?"
Seras smiled sweetly. "In simpler terms, I wanted a partner."
Garion scratched his head. "A partner? Like a friend?"
Seras shook her head, her smile widening. "Something a little more intimate than that."
Garion froze for seconds passed before suddenly his eyes widened. "WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!"
He pointed at her in disbelief. "You’re telling me this entire competition was about finding yourself a husband?!"
Seras burst into delighted laughter. "Hehehe! Well, you could put it that way."
Garion stared at her as though she’d just announced the most ridiculous training program imaginable. "YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"
Seras continued giggling at his reaction. "Why is that so surprising?"
Garion spread his arms. "Because you created countless systems, recruited goddamn monsters from different worlds, and made us fight through three ridiculous trials!"
He paused before pointing at himself. "All because you wanted to get married?"
Seras tilted her head innocently. "Was that really so excessive?"
Garion stared at her. "...You’re insane."
Seras smiled proudly. "Thank you."
Garion covered his face with one hand. "That wasn’t a compliment, woman."
Seras laughed again before stepping closer. "Anyway, you won. Congratulations, Garion."
Garion lowered his hand. "Hold on. There’s another thing I don’t understand."
Seras raised an eyebrow. "What’s that?"
Garion pointed toward himself. "Why was I chosen as a candidate in the first place?"
Seras blinked before shrugging. "I don’t know."
Garion froze again. "...What?"
Seras smiled. "I didn’t personally select every candidate. The systems handled that process themselves."
She waved one hand, causing countless miniature golden lights to appear around them.
"Each system searched for individuals matching the qualities I desired. Strength, determination, ambition, loyalty, independence, and the willingness to pursue their own goals."
The lights gradually transformed into countless miniature worlds. "Different systems found different candidates. Some were already powerful, while others possessed extraordinary potential."
Garion rubbed his chin. "So Atlas chose me because I happened to match those conditions?"
Seras nodded. "More or less. I never instructed him to choose you specifically."
She stepped closer, examining his face with obvious amusement. "But after watching you throughout the competition, I’m rather pleased with his decision."
Garion chuckled. "Hehehe. Well, that little bastard does have good taste."
Seras smiled. "Besides, you possess something rather unusual."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What’s that?"
Seras gently tapped his chest. "Even after becoming extraordinarily powerful, you’ve never abandoned the things you genuinely enjoy."
She glanced toward him with a warm smile. "You still love training, helping your disciples grow stronger, teasing your companions, and spending time with the people important to you."
Garion scratched his cheek. "Hehehe... Well, what’s the point of being strong if you can’t enjoy yourself?"
Seras nodded. "Exactly."
For a moment, neither spoke.
Then Garion suddenly remembered something important. "Ah, right. There’s just one problem."
Seras tilted her head. "Hmm? What problem?"
Garion grinned awkwardly. "Hehehe... I’m already married."
Seras blinked before suddenly smiling. "Oh?"
Garion nodded proudly. "Yeah. My wife’s name is Rachel. She’s a goddess too, actually."
Seras examined him for a moment before asking casually. "Just one wife?"
Garion frowned. "...What do you mean, just one?"
Seras giggled. "Hehehe. Then what’s the problem with having two?"
Garion stared at her.
For the third time since entering the palace, he found himself completely speechless.
Meanwhile, Seras simply stood before him, smiling innocently, as though she’d asked the most ordinary question imaginable.
