It took a long, heavy moment for Rhys to drag his mind out of the intoxicating daze that had consumed him. The soundproof privacy partition remained raised, enclosing the rear cabin in a quiet, decadent twilight.

When he finally looked down, his heart did a sudden, violent flip. Glistening under the dim interior LED lights were Dione, Ariadne, and Rhea, their lips, cheeks, and exposed skin lightly splattered and glistening with his fluids. They looked up at him with flushed faces and wide, euphoric eyes, panting softly like devotees who had just partaken in a sacred ritual.

Rhys caught his reflection in the dark, tinted side window. To his absolute horror and sudden, overwhelming guilt, he noticed a faint, self-satisfied smirk arched across his own face. He hadn’t even realized he was smiling. A cold wave of shame washed over him, clashing violently with the lingering, electric hum of pleasure still vibrating through his veins.

Before he could spiral into his thoughts, the heavy luxury sedan began to slow down, making a smooth, sweeping turn onto a gravel driveway.

Panic flared in Rhys’s chest. In the chaotic haze of the last hour, he had completely forgotten the reality of his situation: he was being transported to an unknown location, completely at the mercy of Vespera’s meticulously orchestrated trap.

“Where are we...?” Rhys asked, his voice raspy and thick.

Without a word of answer, the three women effortlessly set to work cleaning themselves up. Dione pulled a silk handkerchief from her clutch, dabbing at her wet lips, while Ariadne smoothed her dark hair and Rhea adjusted her backless blouse, playing off the depraved encounter as if it were nothing more than a routine stop on their schedule.

The car glided to a final stop, its engine humming softly before shutting off. The privacy partition slid down with a smooth, mechanical whisper. Outside the tinted glass, the deep crimson and violet hues of a coastal sunset painted the sky over a vast, roaring ocean.

The driver stepped out, walked around to the rear, and pulled the door open.

Rhys stepped out onto the cool sea-breeze air, expecting to see a hidden warehouse or an underground lair. Instead, he was met by the breathtaking sight of a massive, modern glass-and-stone beach house perched on a cliffside overlooking the Pacific. The architecture was stunning—sprawling multi-tier decks, an infinity pool reflecting the sunset, and floor-to-ceiling windows that practically glowed against the dusk.

Apparently, Vespera had arranged for them to stay here for the night. It was just one of her many personal, off-the-grid vacation estates scattered across the country.

Rhys stood on the driveway, staring up at the grand structure. He absolutely hated the fact that he liked how nice it looked. He hated how effortlessly Vespera’s immense wealth and taste could pull him into a world of absolute luxury, making him feel like a pampered prince even while holding a metaphorical collar around his neck.

As they walked up the floating wooden steps toward the grand entrance, Rhys glanced briefly at the driver standing by the open trunk. He expected the same cold, impassive, ironclad look the man always wore.

To Rhys’s total surprise, the driver actually caught his eye and gave him a subtle, solid nod of his head. The man offered a faint, almost imperceptible smirk, whispering under his breath, “Have a good rest of the night, sir.”

It was a look of pure, unadulterated male solidarity. It was completely unprofessional, totally out of character for Vespera’s elite staff, but the silent sentiment—one guy acknowledging another guy surviving an absolute gauntlet of three dangerous, beautiful women—was more than appreciated. Rhys offered a quick, weary nod back.

The next hour was spent exploring the magnificent house as the last light of the sun dipped below the horizon. The interior was a masterpiece of minimalist luxury: vaulted ceilings, plush white leather couches, a fully stocked marble bar, and panoramic views of the crashing waves below.

Dione, Ariadne, and Rhea glided through the halls with carefree excitement, letting Rhys know that Vespera had given them complete authority over the estate. They had the whole house to themselves and were explicitly told to use anything and everything they wanted.

Rhys stood in the center of the vast living room, his arms crossed over his chest, deeply skeptical. He severely doubted Vespera would ever be so unconditionally gracious. There was always a catch. Always an angle.

He raised his eyes, scanning the dark oak beams running along the ceiling. Sure enough, tucked into the shadowed corner of the vaulted framework, was a tiny, high-definition camera lens—a minute pinprick of glass with a faint, blinking infrared dot. You could almost miss it if you weren’t an experienced hero trained to spot surveillance.

Rhys’s cynical assumption was instantly proven right. Vespera was watching them this very moment, drinking in every second of his humiliation and pleasure from afar. Or worse—she could be lurking in the dark corners of the estate right now, waiting for the perfect, dramatic moment to pounce.

As if Vespera could physically feel Rhys thinking about her from miles away, his phone vibrated in his pocket.

He pulled it out to see another text. It was a photo of a candlelit table at an insanely expensive five-star restaurant downtown. Sitting across from the camera was Marcus, looking sharp in a tailored suit. Marcus was grinning ear to ear, his eyes shining with pure, naive happiness, utterly captivated by the woman sitting across from him.

Vespera:Having such a lovely, divine evening with your dear friend~ He’s so sweet, hero. So eager to please. I wonder how long he’d last if he knew what you were doing right now? 😘

Rhys felt a strange, uncomfortable knot twist in his stomach. He felt a lingering ping of something complicated, but his overwhelming emotion was raw, protective concern for Marcus. Seeing his long-time friend looking so genuinely happy, so utterly clueless that he was sitting across from a ruthless master manipulator who was using him as a weapon against Rhys, made Rhys’s blood boil.

Before Rhys could dwell on the message, the sound of soft, rhythmic footsteps echoed down the hallway.

Rhys turned around and his breath caught squarely in his throat.

The three women stepped into the living room, completely transformed. While Rhys had been scanning for cameras, they had raided the master closet—a walk-in sanctuary filled with Vespera’s personal wardrobe. They had changed into three unbelievably seductive pieces of high-end silk and lace lingerie that looked like they belonged in a private haute couture show.

Rhea wore a sheer, champagne-gold lace babydoll outfit that barely contained her radiant, furnace-hot Genasi curves. Dione was clad in an ice-blue silk bustier that pushed her full bosom up to impossible heights, her pale alien skin practically glowing under the ambient lights. Ariadne rocked a dark violet, strappy lace teddy with plunging lines that left almost nothing to the imagination.

“We found Vespera’s private collection in the closet,” Ariadne purred softly, trailing her fingers along her hip as she strutted toward him. “She left a note saying we should dress up for you...”

Rhys was utterly astonished at the sight. The sheer, concentrated lethal beauty standing in front of him threatened to short-circuit his brain entirely. They were completely ready for him.

Before Rhys could back away, the three women practically leaped on him, closing the distance in a heartbeat. They pressed their soft, warm bodies against his, their hands roaming over his chest, his arms, his waist, showering his neck and jaw with eager, breathless kisses.

“Rhys...” Dione whimpered sweetly against his neck, her hands tugging at his shirt. “The bed in the master suite is huge...”

A sudden, desperate wave of clarity pierced through Rhys’s sensory overload. I need to get out of here, he thought frantically. I can’t do this. Not here, not under her cameras.

He could physically feel Vespera’s slitted amber eyes watching him through the hidden lens in the ceiling, laughing at his helplessness. He needed to buy time. He needed to stall these three women, hopefully dragging the night out until Vespera’s date ended or until the sheer exhaustion of the evening forced everyone to sleep.

Gathering his composure, Rhys placed his hands on Rhea and Dione’s waists, gently easing them back just an inch. He adopted a smooth, confident, slightly wicked smirk—playing into the dangerous hero persona he knew they found irresistible.

“Hold on a second, ladies,” Rhys said, his voice dropping into a low, smooth, charismatic rumble. He looked at each of them, letting his gaze linger over their lingerie. “Seeing you all dress up like this... it made me realize something. The night is still young.”

Ariadne arched an eyebrow, her dark eyes flashing with intrigue. “Oh? What are you thinking, hero?”

“I’m thinking it’d be a total waste to spend the whole night locked up in this house right away,” Rhys lied smoothly, his mind working at lightning speed. “We should go out first. Hit an exclusive club downtown, get some expensive drinks, dance, and let everyone see how incredible you three look. Then we come back here... and really enjoy the rest of the night.”

Except we won’t, Rhys added silently for just himself. Because I’m going to stall you at the bar until 3 AM.
