Chapter 1939 - 1935: Nothing to Say

There are several names being written and doodled there.

School’s out.

"Hey, why aren’t you leaving yet? What are you doing?"

Ye Ning looked up in surprise.

It’s Gu Qingcheng, who had somehow ended up standing behind her.

She turned her head, "Wow, you scared me!"

"The grades, of course."

"Grades?"

He tried to move forward, but someone pushed his chest, shoving him back.

Ye Ning snorted, "You can’t be serious, can’t do well yourself and want someone else to give you the answers."

The guys looked over, "Oh, you’re speaking up for your little boyfriend, huh?"

Ye Ning stepped forward, "Hey, don’t talk so sarcastically. Is it because your grades are bad, or your Chinese is lacking?"

The one in front quickly pretended to be scared, taking a few exaggerated steps back, saying, "Oh my, I’m so scared, I heard you’re pretty good at fighting, but still, we’re good students, we won’t fight. But, let me tell you, in this place, even if we don’t fight, if we wanted, messing with you two at this school would be easy."
