Hidden Marriage: Pamper Me Gently, My Sweetie
Chapter 2014 - 2008: Little Man
Mu Yeli’s words made both of them forget to react for a moment.
The man chuckled, "Really." He said to his wife, "This guy is just the pretty boy type, I said that woman must be very rich."
Ye Ning amusingly looked at the two of them.
The woman was also looking at them with envy.
She thought to herself, even if people say the woman is very rich, that’s why this man keeps saying good things about her, but this guy is tall and handsome, with a movie-star-like flair about him, making him feel familiar.
However, at this moment, she definitely had to stand by her man.
She looked at the two of them and nodded, sarcastically saying, "Yeah, it’s good for a woman to have money too."
Mu Yeli laughed even more, "She’s very rich? You can go ahead and ask her what money she has, and frankly, there’s no one rich enough to afford me."
He wrapped his arm around Ye Ning, pinched her cheek, and said, "Right?"
Ye Ning spread her hands in disbelief, "Of course, if I could afford you, that would be great."
The man snorted, "Which pretty boy admits he’s a pretty boy."
The woman was also looking at them mockingly, believing her man’s words.
She knew what men were like; which man really pampers his wife so much.
Yet at home, he does nothing.
Mu Yeli said, "It’s obvious that this Miss is not really respected at home, you see, this gentleman doesn’t seem like someone who respects others. I advise this Miss, when you marry someone, keep your eyes wide open, don’t truly think that men are all like that."
Mu Yeli pulled Ye Ning along, "This gentleman is wrong, a true man stands firm outside and doesn’t need to prove himself as a big man to his wife because she understands him, so there’s no need for machismo at home."
He looked at the woman and said, "On the contrary, those who have no achievements elsewhere want to find some presence at home and in front of women. That type of machismo is often like this: the more grievances they suffer at work, the more they are harsh to their family when they return home. If you talk to them, they’ll claim they worked hard for the family all day and suffered many grievances, but let me tell you, any grievances a man faces are not because of the family, nor are caused by having a family; it’s simply because he lacks ability."
"You..." The man’s face turned red with anger from these words.
Mu Yeli, looking uninterested in the man, continued talking to the woman, "Think carefully, if you weren’t there, if there was no family, would he stop working, stop earning to support himself, stop feeling grievances?"
"I..." The woman found herself speechless.
Mu Yeli hummed again, saying, "That’s why choosing a man requires keen eyes; don’t be easily brainwashed. Until you find a truly good man, you won’t realize how blind you’ve been in the past."
"You..."
Mu Yeli said this, picked up his phone and told someone, "Send a car to pick my wife and me up; we are at Wetland Park."
After speaking, he hung up the phone, pushed the child, wrapped his arm around Ye Ning, and continued walking forward.
