QM said, “Ha, if he wants my head, he should come and take it himself. If he can’t do it, getting someone else to do it—what kind of skill is that.”

The guys just stared at QM, “Originally, we had no grudges against you. However, last time you took money to help us find someone, then ran away with the money. We haven’t confronted you about this yet, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten.”

Ye Ning paused, looking at QM.

It seemed this matter was indeed related to them.

But really, QM—you took the money and just disappeared when you couldn’t get the job done?

Ye Ning looked at him speechlessly.

QM shrugged, not feeling the need to explain at all.

“Hey, although I didn’t succeed, I did make an effort, right? I put in effort, and effort isn’t free, you know.”

The guys stared at QM, “Not completing the task and still taking the money; moreover, today you’ve done these things to defame our people. So today, the BOSS wants your head, which isn’t unjustified.”

QM replied, “Well, it’s naturally not unjustified, but now it depends on whether you can take it.”

The guys snorted, “It’s impossible to kill you here. However, if we don’t bring your head, you won’t meet the BOSS. Today, the BOSS sent us to give you a warning. Few people can see him, and you are not among the lucky ones. If you continue these acts, be careful—if we resist, you’ll see what dark power really means.”

QM laughed, “Is this a threat? Let me tell you, I’m the least afraid of threats. I hear threats at least a hundred times a day. Countless people want me dead, but I’m still alive. You…”

As he spoke, he seemed ready to settle scores.

Ye Ning quickly pulled him back.

“Alright, alright.”

She said to the guys, “Sorry, you guys should leave first. We understand, we’re just talking, it doesn’t mean anything else. It’s better if everyone gets along peacefully, right? What’s the point of fighting and killing? We live in a peaceful society now; making money is most important. Honestly, we did this out of curiosity. If your BOSS doesn’t like seeing people, then that’s fine. But really, if we just meet casually and make friends, it’s not a big deal, right?”

The guys just looked at her calmly, their expressions unchanged.

Ye Ning could confirm this was their disguise, not their real faces.

Because when she’s disguising herself, it’s also not wise to make too many facial expressions.

Ye Ning pulled QM back, “Alright, we can go.”

“Hey, why are you pulling me?”

“Come on, let’s go. Why bother so much, let’s go.”

She dragged QM and left the place.

Behind them, the three quietly watched them leave…

And then.

QM asked, “Hey, why’d you pull me?”

“Idiot, asking them wouldn’t work, better to just leave.”

“But…”

“Shh, let’s see where they’re going.”

QM suddenly understood, “Oh… oh, you’re thinking…”

Ye Ning gave him a glare to shut him up.

Ye Ning then led him outside.

Watching those three leave the Bar, they silently followed.

These guys weren’t ordinary people, so when following them, they chose a more covert approach.
