High Martial: I Use Everything as Swords

Chapter 508 - 318: Saints of the Tower of Babel, I Will Grant You Sainthood

Meanwhile, Han Feng walked out of the command building. Breathing in the slightly salty sea air, he was in high spirits.

He hummed a little tune, heading straight for the tarmac.

He boarded the X-01 Prototype. The engine ignited, and a silver streak shot into the sky once more.

This time, he didn’t fly directly toward Broken Star Reef. Instead, he dutifully followed the mission parameters and began his patrol along the Dragon Abyss Boundary Membrane, which was as vast as a celestial chasm.

’A man has to keep his word.’

Han Feng piloted the X-01 Prototype, soaring through the vast Cloud Sea.

True to his word, he diligently patrolled about halfway around the Dragon Abyss Boundary Membrane, which resembled a scar upon the world.

The onboard radar and his Eye of Insight worked in sync, recording all data on the violent, turbulent energy fluctuations surrounding the Boundary Membrane. He then bundled it up and sent it to Ye Jinghong.

’Mission complete.’

Only after completing this task did he turn the aircraft and head straight for Broken Star Reef.

’Take their money, solve their problems. Now, it’s time for some personal business.’

Han Feng was in a good mood, his fingertips tapping lightly on the control console as he hummed an off-key tune.

Ten kilometers out from Broken Star Reef, Han Feng lowered his altitude.

With a single thought, a vast projection of the Sword Tomb Space descended, silently engulfing the entire X-01 Prototype.

In the next instant, the silver aircraft vanished into thin air.

’Definitely more convenient than a hangar.’

Han Feng clicked his tongue, quite pleased with this new ability unlocked in the Sword Master Realm.

This was his first time storing such a massive object whole. Aside from a slightly large drain on his Spiritual Power, the process was silky smooth.

This undoubtedly gave him another trump card for exploring Dragon Abyss.

Whether for launching an assault or making a getaway.

After stowing the jet, a dark silver light swirled around him as the Escapee Type II·Shadow Spirit Armor instantly enveloped his body.

He activated Phantom Stealth, his form melting into the light and shadows as he drifted toward Broken Star Reef like a gentle breeze.

Today’s Broken Star Reef was a far cry from the chaotic land it had once been.

After Kunlun Holy City took over, they established a small military base right on the reef.

Furthermore, the entrance to the undersea cavern was completely sealed by a massive Spiritual Energy Alloy Gate.

On both sides of the gate, sentries were posted every few steps.

The guards were all Martial Artists at the Peak of Enlightenment, clad in standard-issue Spiritual Energy Armor and wielding Armor-Piercing Spiritual Energy Rifles, their auras chilling and stern.

Like a Ghost moving in another dimension, Han Feng weaved through the shadows, silently bypassing every guard post until he stood before the alloy gate.

"I really don’t get why the higher-ups are so on edge."

A guard captain complained in a low voice, leaning against the cold rock wall. "This place is under Kunlun’s protection. Who’d be dumb enough to come here just to get killed?"

"Words can bring disaster."

Another captain was more cautious. "Those Evil Cultists are all lunatics. You can never be too careful."

"Tch. With security this tight, not even a mosquito could fly in."

The first captain scoffed. "Besides, the Myriad Spirits Transformation Array down below is always running.

If some idiot who doesn’t know any better barges in, they’ll instantly become fuel for the Divine Soul Crystals."

The two chatted on, completely unaware that a phantom-like figure had already drifted past them.

Han Feng stood before the alloy gate as his Eye of Insight swept over it.

The physical defenses were astonishing, and dozens of interlinked, energy-sensing arrays were inscribed within.

Any unauthorized contact would set off the alarms.

’Decent work, but not good enough.’

Han Feng didn’t bother trying to break the defenses. Instead, he pressed himself against the gate and, with a mere thought, slipped into the Sword Tomb Space.

The next moment, he adjusted his coordinates, "stepped" out from the other side of the space, and emerged behind the gate.

Repeating the same trick, he passed through three more similar checkpoints and finally reached the cavern teeming with gray Spiritual Energy tentacles.

These tentacles were dancing slowly. Apparently, not only had the people of Kunlun Holy City not stopped the harvest, but they were now utilizing the apparatus even more thoroughly.

To avoid raising an alarm, Han Feng refrained from devouring the energy this time.

He observed the natural hollows in the cave wall, a smile touching his lips.

His figure flashed into one of the hollows, and he immediately slipped into the Sword Tomb Space.

Within the space, he crossed dozens of meters in a single step before reappearing from another hollow.

By repeating this process, he moved like a wraith phasing between dimensions, silently traversing the deadly forest of tentacles.

In the deepest part of the cavern, the massive underground workshop was completely transformed.

Dozens of personnel in white lab coats bustled about, constantly recording data and adjusting the array’s output.

Even the Corpse Puppets had been fitted with new outer shells, modified into mechanical drones that only executed hauling commands.

The central crystallization platform, meanwhile, was enveloped by a massive, transparent Energy Shield.

Han Feng concealed himself in a shadowed corner and waited patiently.

Half an hour later, the golden motes of light on the platform coalesced into several hundred perfectly formed crystals.

"Conversion efficiency is stable at 73%, with an energy dissipation rate below 5%. They’re ready for collection."

A senior researcher, who appeared to be in charge, gave the order.

A young researcher immediately stepped forward, shut down the mechanism, deactivated the shield, and carefully placed the crystals into a testing instrument one by one.

"Batch A073: energy purity 91.4%, spiritual activity 88.2%. Meets superior quality standards."

Once confirmed, the crystals were neatly packed into a specialized metal case.

Two of the drones stepped forward, lifted the case, and headed back the way they had come.

The opportunity had come.

Han Feng’s figure blurred, and he followed ghost-like behind the drones.

Just at the instant the case was about to be carried out of the main chamber, he silently placed his hand on its outer surface.

The devouring and substitution ability of the Sword Tomb Space activated, passing right through the thick metal.

Inside the case, several hundred freshly produced Divine Soul Crystals vanished in an instant, replaced by the Borrowed Path Sword Seeds Han Feng had meticulously prepared.

The entire process took less than a second, executed with such stealth that not even gods or ghosts would have noticed.
