She smiled and greeted the people she met, then entered the exclusive elevator for the boss.

The elevator was empty, yet clean, moderately warm, Qin Mu stood there, gazing at the view outside, realizing today there seemed to be a thin layer of fog outside.

The further Qin Mu looked, the blurrier it became, the elevator moved steadily, arriving at the top floor. As the door opened, her eyes lifted again, and she saw Xi Meng standing at her workstation, talking on the phone, holding some documents in her other hand, not sure what she was verifying with the person on the line.

When Xi Meng heard the sound, she sluggishly lifted her eyes, and upon seeing Qin Mu, she hurriedly nodded.

Qin Mu gestured with her eyes and hands to ask if Mu Yichen was inside; after Xi Meng nodded, she raised her hand and walked towards his office.

Mu Yichen was working; when Qin Mu knocked, she heard him call her in, so she pushed the door open to see the man focused on work. She quickly averted her gaze, reminding herself of the business at hand.

"Mr. Mu, sorry to interrupt!"

She walked over, greeting him softly.

Mu Yichen raised his eyes, seemingly surprised to see her, then chuckled: "Sit down first!"

Qin Mu put her bag down and sat across his desk, he swiftly read the last two lines, then elegantly signed his name, closed the pen, precisely gazed at her, meeting her eyes.

"Where are the siblings?"

Mu Yichen asked.

"Oh! We ran into their grandma and aunt when leaving the shop, they went to eat with them!"

Qin Mu explained briefly.

Mu Yichen instantly understood the real reason, adding nothing more, they both knew the situation well, no need to spell it out bluntly.

"Are you done busying yourself?"

"Already finished, what do you want for lunch?"

Mu Yichen said, still sitting, his deep voice asking her.

"Anything is fine! Don’t worry about me!"

Qin Mu replied, thinking he always considered her feelings during meals, making her seem too selfish.

Besides, today she was seeking a favor, best to accommodate Mr. Mu more.

Mu Yichen stared at her for a while, smiled, then stood up.

"Let’s go then!"

Mu Yichen said as he grabbed his coat, Qin Mu hurriedly stood up too, surprised at his eagerness.

Though she said anything was fine, it shouldn’t be too casual.

Unexpectedly, Mr. Mu brought her to their employee cafeteria, ha!
