Honkai Impact: Become Their Hero

Chapter 629: Fu Hua: What?! Theresa Grew Up Too?!

  • Next Chapter

“So you have an ability that lets you summon Eli anytime, anywhere? I’m so jealous! I want it too! My adorable vampire lady, how about trading it for my Authority of Origin? Pretty please~”

“My dear Ely, please stop making trouble.”

Elias rolled his eyes and flicked the pink elf on the forehead. She immediately covered her head with both hands, dramatically closed her eyes, and stuck out her tongue, striking an adorable defeated pose.

However, what she had just said was no joke. If she really could exchange her Authority as the Herrscher of Origin for Luna’s ability to summon Elias anytime, anywhere, essentially giving her a Command Spell,

Elysia would agree a hundred times over!

Just imagining it filled her with bliss. Possessing the Authority of Origin merely gave her high-level administrator privileges over Honkai, but possessing the ability to summon Elias… She felt as though she would possess the entire world!

“Hmph~ No way I’m trading it!”

Luna rejected the offer without hesitation. Although Elias hadn’t managed to understand the principles behind this summoning ability, the vampire girl had come up with what she considered a brilliant explanation of her own.

(It’s the power of love! The power of our bond! It must be because Human and I love each other so much that the power that originally only allowed us to sense each other’s existence evolved!)

Although this explanation relied entirely on the power of emotions,

Luna firmly believed it. After all, this ability had mysteriously awakened while the two of them were intimately entwined in Castle of Eternal Night for ten days and nine nights!

She only felt slightly regretful. If she and Elias had awakened this ability before falling into the World’s Interstice, they wouldn’t have needed to spend ten thousand years searching for each other.

(Elias: That wouldn’t have worked. If this summoning ability really came from us doing that, there was absolutely no possibility of us obtaining it before falling into the World’s Interstice. After all…)

Before they fell into the World’s Interstice, the vampire girl named Luna had merely been a twelve-year-old little girl.

If Elias had actually done something like that, it would have been an extremely punishable offense. Some supreme force would have annihilated him on the spot, and not even the Imaginary Tree or the Sea of Quanta could have saved him.

“Ahem! Anyway, that’s enough sparring for now. You’re going to be companions in the future, not enemies. Don’t take things too seriously.”

Elias raised his hands and patted Luna and Mei on their heads.

Although the vampire girl was still somewhat unwilling to let the matter go, Luna was extremely possessive. Perhaps it was because she loved Elias too much and regarded him as the one and only person who gave her life meaning.

Consequently, some rather dangerous ideas occasionally crossed her mind.

For example, locking Elias away in a dark room. Back when they had accidentally lost their coordinates in the World’s Interstice, Luna had even entertained the idea of living there with Elias forever, just the two of them.

However, aside from occasionally harboring dangerous thoughts, Luna was absolutely obedient when it came to Elias. Therefore, after staring at Mei with a complicated expression for a while, she eventually agreed to a ceasefire.

“We’ll continue next time. I’m definitely going to win!”

“No problem. I’ll be ready whenever you are.”

Mei responded without backing down in the slightest.

At the same time, she resolved to intensify her training. The competition was becoming increasingly fierce. She had originally believed Elysia was her only real opponent, but who could have imagined that a single trip to the Sea of Quanta would bring Elias back with such a formidable new rival?!

If she didn’t work even harder, she might actually get overtaken!

(I’d originally planned to visit Father at Anti-Entropy this weekend, but it looks like I don’t have any time to waste now! Plan canceled! With Mr. Welt and Uncle Siegfried around, Father must be having a wonderful time. As his daughter, I shouldn’t disturb him.)

A new and formidable rival had appeared. How could she possibly allow herself to stagnate? With that thought, Mei took out her terminal and sent a message to her father, Raiden Ryoma, who was far away at Anti-Entropy.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the ocean, Raiden Ryoma looked at the terminal in his hand. It was a message from his beloved daughter. A few seconds later, all the color drained from his body, and he turned into a stone statue.

Siegfried and Welt, who happened to be passing by, exchanged glances. What a pitiful doting father. It seemed their usually serious friend wouldn’t be refusing their invitation to slack off and drink with them today.

“How incredible. I’ve never seen a vampire MANTIS before. Oh? You even possess the power of erosion?”

Back at St. Freya Academy, the women had already surrounded Luna, curiously examining their new sister and romantic rival.

The ever-hospitable Dr. Mobius had stars in her eyes. She very much wanted to invite the vampire girl to visit her laboratory.

She could provide some sleep-inducing black tea and an operating table, ensuring Luna would have a “wonderful” experience she would never forget for the rest of her life.

Elias rolled his eyes and immediately delivered a karate chop to her head.

Elysia promptly pounced over. This pink elf from the Elysian Realm had always been extremely curious about beautiful girls.

“Miss Luna… Hmm, that sounds a little too distant. I’ll just call you Luna! I’m Elysia, and you can call me Ely. Could you tell me about your story with Eli sometime?”

“It really is quite intriguing. How exactly did you manage to marry Elias and obtain a marriage certificate in such a short time?”

“Wait, is it just my imagination? I feel like Miss Luna looks remarkably similar to someone… Theresa?”

“Huh? How do they look alike?!” xN

Cecilia, who had known Theresa the longest, offered that observation, immediately provoking a chorus of astonished questions from everyone.

Many of them lowered their heads to look at Theresa, then raised them to look at Luna. They couldn’t help marveling at the tremendous difference between them. It was practically the difference between a blade of grass and a towering tree, between an airport runway and two Mount Everests!

“Hey! Where exactly are you people looking?!”

Theresa stomped her feet in embarrassment and anger, covering the airport runway that hadn’t developed the slightest elevation in fifty years with both hands. She immediately resolved to double everyone’s homework and deduct their salaries.

Elias burst into delighted laughter. At the same time, he couldn’t help thinking that Cecilia was indeed remarkably observant. As expected, she’d figured it out.

Meanwhile, Luna was also somewhat dumbfounded.

Because Theresa was simply too short, Luna hadn’t noticed her earlier. Only when she lowered her head did she discover an adorable little white-haired girl resembling a porcelain doll, angrily stomping her tiny feet.

“All right, all right. Cecilia is absolutely correct. Luna is actually Theresa’s counterpart from another timeline.”

Elias’ announcement immediately left everyone stunned.

“What?! You’re kidding, right?!” xN

The women gasped, their gazes constantly shifting between Theresa and Luna. Finally, after ignoring their differences in height and figure and comparing only their faces, they realized that the two really did look remarkably alike.

Wait, wait, wait! How was this even possible?!

Everyone stared with their eyes wide open in astonishment.

Their expressions resembled those of explorers who had just discovered an entirely new continent.

“Hello, my other self, Theresa. What a nostalgic name. However, I no longer use it because my beloved Human gave me a much better name.”

Luna raised her hand and patted Theresa’s head. Looking at someone who appeared exactly like her younger self, apart from the difference in eye color, she found the experience both novel and amusing.

Theresa, on the other hand, was even more astonished.

“Y-You’re really me? You’re not joking?”

Such a tall figure, such an enormous bosom, such extraordinary charm, and she’d even managed to win Elias over! Theresa couldn’t help wondering when she’d become capable of something so incredible.

If Cecilia hadn’t pointed it out earlier, Theresa herself would never have realized that Luna was her counterpart from another bubble world. After all, the differences between them were simply too enormous.

When Theresa looked down, she could see her own feet. When Luna looked down, all she could see were two enormous, pale, G-cup slimes.

The Judah launcher suddenly felt that there was hope for her!

Since Luna was another version of herself, didn’t that mean she might eventually develop a figure like hers too? Hooray! Her future was looking incredibly bright!!

“I really was called Theresa before. But I returned that name to my big sister ten thousand years ago. Now, I’m simply Luna, so please don’t get us confused.”

Luna emphasized her words. However, everyone’s attention had already been captured by her mention of ten thousand years. They were astonished all over again. Who would have thought this vampire girl was actually over ten thousand years old?

That was genuinely shocking.

Oh, wait. Quite a few people here were already over fifty thousand years old.

Never mind, then~

“Uh, could I ask when exactly you grew into… ahem, your current figure?”

Theresa swallowed and stared intently at Luna, gesturing in front of her chest with both hands. She was already over fifty years old, yet she still possessed the appearance of the world’s most adorable little girl.

Not long ago, Rozaliya and Liliya had even invited Theresa to join them in forming a little-girl idol group. They’d gone so far as to come up with a stage name for her: Tiri.

Ahem! Scratch everything above!

Theresa had originally abandoned all hope of ever growing up. However, Luna’s appearance had reignited the flames of hope within her! Those flames were already spreading into a wildfire, practically setting the entire ocean ablaze!

(Theresa: I’ve been a little girl for more than fifty years! I want to become a tall, mature beauty with curves in all the right places at least once in my life!)

“Uh, I think it was when I was around eight thousand years old?” Luna answered after thinking for a moment.

“E-Eight thousand?!”

The flames of hope were instantly extinguished.

Theresa’s eyes rolled back, and she nearly fainted. Did that mean she’d have to wait another 7,950 years before her dream could come true?! Wasn’t that just a tiny bit too long?! That was longer than the entire history of modern civilization!

“Oh, come on, Auntie Theresa. Don’t be so depressed.”

A certain tuna wandered over to comfort her.

“Kiana…”

“Look on the bright side. At least there’s still a possibility that you’ll grow up someday, right? Besides, you should learn from our class monitor in this regard. She’s already fifty thousand years old, and nothing’s happened to her either. Just look at her! She doesn’t mind at all.”

“…” xN

Everyone watched as the tuna casually patted Fu Hua on the shoulder. They collectively observed three seconds of silence for the unfortunate girl.

How could this child be so exceptionally talented at courting death? Hadn’t she ever heard that famous Chinese poem?

An immortal pats my head, granting me longevity as my hair is bound.

I accidentally raise my gaze and discover the immortal’s chest is flat.

Terrified, I lower my eyes, pretending I haven’t noticed a thing.

The immortal pats my head once more, unleashing Ki Impact upon my skull.

Her flat chest was Immortal Phoenix’s ultimate forbidden subject!!

Senti: “Oh no! The old fossil is about to explode!!”

Mei: “Looks like I can prepare a little less dinner tonight. Poor Kiana. Farewell.”

Bronya: “Bronya once had a friend. Her name was Kiana. Then she died.”

Kiana: “Bronya! Why are you cursing me?!”

Bronya: “Hehe. The corpse is talking.”

Fu Hua: “Kiana, come with me for a moment. I’m going to teach you an ancient Chinese martial arts killing technique. Don’t worry. It won’t take long. It really won’t…”

Didn’t mind? Hehe! She minded more than anyone, damn it!!

Fu Hua’s fists clenched so tightly they practically turned to stone!

She was the person at St. Freya Academy who wanted to grow up more than absolutely anyone else! If this continued, she’d probably have to borrow breast milk from Aponia, Eden, and the others when she eventually had children!

The flat-chested Immortal took a deep breath and raised a hand to touch her chest, which hadn’t changed in the slightest over the past fifty thousand years. Her eyes immediately became hollow, as though her soul had abandoned her body, and a sinister black aura began radiating from her.

Then she looked at Luna, looked at Griseo, looked at Bronya, and finally looked down at herself. The immortal muttered under her breath.

Fu Hua: “Traitors… All of you are traitors…”
