Chapter 1244: Chapter 109: Let the Slaughter Begin! (Part 2)
Can His Majesty really win?
Basaza didn’t know, but he was going to try. From the very beginning he had embraced the conviction that he would die, so he feared nothing, not even falling into the depths of hell.
Just then, a vampire bat flew over.
When it landed, it transformed into a strange, seductive female vampire, one of Bardi’s subordinates. The vampire looked fearful, lowered her head cautiously and said, "Our scouts have found Melissan’s trail."
"There are still Baal Death Eaters moving around nearby."
"His Majesty orders Lord Basaza to go at once and find Melissan."
The High Priest of Baal, God of Murder.
Also the final contender vying with Chaneem for the throne of slaughter. As the Shepherd Leader of the Church, Melissan had backstabbed Baal, attempting to become the new God of Murder herself.
She hid very deep. Even Duncan had spent nearly half a year searching for her.
"Then I’ll leave things here to you."
Basaza didn’t hesitate in the slightest. He glanced at Kanggos in front of him, then quickly vanished into the night.
At the same time.
In a certain ladies’ hall in Tifandon, the still-shaken Mother of Great Bliss finally had time to look over the fallen Paladins before her.
"Where did so many elite Dark Guards come from?"
"He had deployments on the Sword Coast as well?"
The Mother of Great Bliss had no idea what the Judgement Court was. At least until today, she hadn’t even known the Church had such a department.
Just then, the sound of bats came from outside the door.
The Mother of Great Bliss immediately lifted her head on alert, and in an instant she saw a strange woman standing outside the window. The other had pale skin and a wantonly seductive face. She looked like a High Elf, with sharp, pointed ears, but the crimson pupils and the blood at the corner of her mouth exposed her identity.
Dark Creatures, a vampire.
There was a trace of jealousy in the woman’s gaze. It was unclear whether she envied her beauty, or envied her favor.
"Great Mother."
In the end, the Vampire Queen Bardi still dropped to one knee and presented a human head as she said, "This is the head of the enemy commander."
"His Majesty has ordered us to obey your commands from here on."
Power.
So long as one held His Majesty’s favor, status and authority naturally followed.
Bardi was unconvinced, but she had to obey.
A very powerful Legendary vampire, and behind Bardi were over a dozen vampires that were at least High Tier.
Aside from the Demigod Witch Demon Kanggos, whom even the Mother of Great Bliss truly could not command, a whole batch of elite professionals, at least High Tier, had gathered under the banner of the Mother of Great Bliss, helping her resolve the trouble in Tifandon.
The Mother of Great Bliss’s expression held a faint excitement. Had she known she would have so many helpers, why had she been so cautious? She could have just struck back directly.
Bardi’s figure stepped into the room, leaving no shadow. Her pale skin seemed to gleam. She lowered her head calmly and said, "His Majesty’s decree."
"You need not concern yourself with those Disaster Messengers."
"Faercrag has already gone to deal with them."
Faercrag?
Who was that?
Bardi saw the puzzled look on the Mother of Great Bliss’s face and rejoiced inwardly. It seemed this Great Mother really was just a flower vase, possessing favor without strength, to the point she didn’t even know of the existence of an Ancient Red Dragon.
No more than a prettier face, nothing else.
Bardi’s voice carried a hint of pleasure as she said, "Faercrag is an Ancient Red Dragon. It will handle the trouble at the Falling Star Sea."
"His Majesty has ordered us to clear the regions around Tifandon."
"To sweep away all obstacles for the Allied Army’s assault on Santier Castle!"
Just then, the figure of a Joyful Priest walked in. She stared in slight shock at the Vampire Queen to the side, and when she noticed the lack of a shadow, her pupils contracted in fear. She said cautiously, "Great Mother."
"Yasan IV and the Purple Dragon Knight Order have arrived as well."
Outside Tifandon came the thunder of galloping hooves.
Surrounded by several thousand cavalry, Yasan IV, one of the greatest Knights of this land, King of the Comer Kingdom, arrived at Tifandon with the Purple Dragon Sword in hand.
Among those many fluttering banners, there were also traces of Mithril Holy Grails, which greatly astonished the people gathered to welcome them.
"Is that the Knightly Order of the Goddess of Nobility?"
"Holy Grail Knights?"
Within the crowd, Lady Belkrei’s deep gaze fixed on the darkness in the distance. She couldn’t comprehend the goddess’s arrangements, but now the Comer Kingdom had become one of their core dioceses as well.
Falling Star Sea, Dragon Lake.
On the opposite shore of Darlun lay West Gate City, another land ruled by the Divine Son of Bane, though that fellow had recently vanished.
Just then, a massive dark shadow suddenly appeared in the sky.
A group of Storm Church Priests gathered there looked up in shock, only to see a colossal Red Dragon appear above them.
"Scatter, now!" The Disaster Messenger’s face changed dramatically.
Boom!
Dragon Breath Spray!
A pillar of searing flame fell from the heavens, instantly charring over a dozen Storm Priests into blackened husks. In Faercrag’s bloodthirsty eyes, flames burned. After a single Dragon Breath that scoured the ground, it immediately dropped from the sky, launching a crushing assault on the fleeing Disaster Messenger.
The earth shook and mountains trembled.
The terrifying might of the Ancient Red Dragon directly brought the cliff down. One Storm Lord who failed to escape in time, even as a Legendary Powerhouse, was ground into flesh paste.
Dragon Wing Swing!
Faercrag raised a storm of howling wind, its Dragon Wings blasting enemies away and shattering their spellcasting.
Dragon Tail Horizontal Sweep!
Like a heavy siege ram plowing through the earth, its tail sent over a dozen Storm cultists flying hundreds of meters. By the time they hit the ground, they made no further sound.
