Armory?!

Koller’s expression shifted slightly after hearing the intelligence Nelom provided.

If he wasn’t lying, the severity of this rebellion could be far greater than they’d anticipated.

An armory from the Ancient Wizard Civilization wasn’t some junkyard piled high with rusty swords. It would contain ship prototypes, Extraordinary Creations, ancient knowledge, Wizard’s Secret Treasures...

In the Ash Soil Star Zone, every single Ancient Creation was a priceless war machine.

If Claudius was excavating an armory of Extraordinary Armaments belonging to some powerful ancient nation, the consequences would be unimaginable!

From what Nelom was saying, a significant faction within the Mechanist Cult was also secretly cooperating with Claudius, supporting his bid to seize the position of Grand Governor.

’These damn traitors...’

He didn’t need to explain it in detail; everyone standing before the command platform at that moment understood the gravity of the situation.

The rebellion orchestrated by Governor Claudius wasn’t just premeditated—it was a systematic assault on the Administrative Region!

With the support of the Mechanist Cult and the ancient technology from the armory in Cyrenaica, the military might of the rebel army they were about to face could potentially surpass that of the forces sent to suppress them!

Urus took off his Full Coverage Helmet. Strands of messy black hair fell across his face, which was pale and etched with utter humiliation.

As the Master of Intelligence serving the Administrative Region and the Grand Governor, he and the Silencers had always been responsible for infiltration and intelligence gathering throughout the entire region.

They even had spies embedded within the Bator World.

But Claudius and the Mechanist Cult had been secretly excavating in Cyrenaica for fourteen years, and the Silencers had heard nothing. His first suspicion wasn’t a failure of the Silencers’ capabilities, but the possibility of a mole within their ranks.

Such was the nature of intelligence warfare.

They had their people among us, and we had ours among them.

Whoever rooted out the traitors in their own house first would gain the upper hand.

Clearly, in this war against the Infiltrator Council, the Silencers, led by Urus, had suffered one defeat after another!

The three Silencers standing silently behind Urus like shadows also wore grim expressions. After being aboard for so long, one of them finally spoke up.

His voice was hoarse and grating, as if his vocal cords had been severely damaged.

"Sir, nine years ago, I received a report about frequent Mechanist Cult activity in Cyrenaica. I personally tasked Derikov and his people with a covert investigation.

Derikov’s report stated that the Mechanist Cult was merely conducting routine surveys and excavations..."

Urus lifted his hands from the command platform. He straightened up, his eyes filled with a venomous look. He said coldly, "In 1447 of the Radiant Calendar, I had him go undercover in the Bator World for a while.

Are you suggesting he was turned at that time?"

The Silencer behind Urus, sensing the Battle Group Commander’s fury, dared not speak further. He simply lowered his head in silence.

Urus knew this wasn’t the time for a reckoning.

"Let’s put the matter of an internal review aside for now. Nelom, can you guarantee that every single thing you’ve said is true?"

Nelom snorted, his voice dripping with disdain. "Believe it or not, I don’t care. And there’s no need to get so worked up, Child of the Night Demon. Your own Lord of the Legion led the rebellion.

Isn’t it perfectly normal for your subordinates to be disloyal?

Even without this grand rebellion, isn’t cultivating traitors a time-honored tradition for the Night Demon?"

The instant the words left his mouth, Urus drew a dagger and lunged, aiming viciously for Nelom’s throat.

In a flash, a powerful, dark purple Spiritual Storm erupted from Koller’s eyes. A mere thought was enough to forcibly restrain Urus’s right arm. "Commander Urus—!" Koller roared. "This is the Avenger Flagship, not your Silencers! Have you no respect for Lord Reinhardt?!

Stop this instant!"

Koller’s voice, laced with Spiritual Power, boomed across the bridge like muffled thunder.

Hearing this, the command staff all looked up toward the command platform on the second level.

Kurs, a retired veteran of the Administrative Region Navy and former captain of the Fourth Fleet’s *Courage*, was a hard-nosed old soldier with salt-and-pepper hair and a powerfully built frame. Witnessing the conflict erupt among the highest command on the bridge, his brow furrowed. He barked at the subordinates beside him who were rubbernecking, "Focus on your stations!"

’That being said, he was still filled with worry—for himself, and for the future of the Avenger Flagship.’

’There were too many enemies.’

’Even with Reinhardt leading them, escape was nearly impossible.’

’He didn’t fear death. More than fear, he felt anger. The Verne Front Line was still locked in a desperate struggle with the Imperial Rebel Army and the Demons. Yet these traitors, rather than considering the greater good, were trying to exploit this vulnerability.’

’Weren’t they afraid that if the Verne Front Line fell, the entire Administrative Region would be completely overrun?’

On the command platform, Koller turned his ire on Nelom, his tone sharp. "Since you’ve chosen to join us, you need to understand your position. Lord Reinhardt and I need valuable intelligence from you, not for you to provoke Commander Urus time and again.

If you have nothing useful to say, you can just keep your mouth shut."

As a former Battle Group Commander within the Justice Temple Legion, Nelom certainly had his reasons for looking down on a Child of the Night Demon. Those reasons could even be traced back thousands of years, to the ancient conflict between their two Legions.
