Chapter 432 - 383: Glory of Battle! Grasping the Second Domain Power! Five-Star Peak

A weapon is, in the end, just a weapon.

After losing one’s free will, an Extraordinary Creation becomes both a source of power and a cage.

Atlas might be powerful, having once defeated a Domain Level Powerhouse, but his body and will were ultimately just a vessel for the Extraordinary Creation.

Relying on this alone was far from enough to fight Reinhardt.

...

WHOOSH—!

The sound of rending air, wrapped in a sonic boom, tore through the rain.

Propelled by high-temperature jets, Atlas’s figure left behind an afterimage. The whistling hammer grazed Reinhardt’s Power Armor, sending sparks flying as it smashed heavily into the ground.

BANG—!

The already old ground instantly shattered, and spiderweb cracks spread in all directions.

Puddles collected in the crevices between the stone bricks exploded into a spray of water, rising and falling with a SPLASH.

After leaping back to dodge the hammer strike, Reinhardt was propelled by a flow of high-temperature Energy. His body spun rapidly in mid-air, and his right leg shot out like a colossal anchor chain, blasting mercilessly toward Atlas’s neck.

Faced with a heavy Body Techniques strike powerful enough to kill an Elite Slaughter Demon, Atlas didn’t dodge or evade. Relying on the Damage Absorption ability granted by his Extraordinary Weaponry·Battlefield Death God, he forcibly endured the fatal blow.

Although this wasn’t a clash of Knight Power, a massive, ring-shaped shockwave still violently blew away the curtain of rain across the entire plaza!

At the same time, he imitated Reinhardt’s fighting style of suddenly dropping his weapon in battle. He released his grip on the hammer’s handle and, like a wrestler, lunged forward to grab Reinhardt’s airborne waist. With one on top and one on the bottom, they crashed heavily to the ground.

After taking Reinhardt down by surprise, he quickly got up. Clenching his right hand into a tight fist, three wedge-shaped vents split open at his elbow joint. Fiery high-temperature jets erupted instantly, propelling his fist ferociously toward Reinhardt’s face!

"HRAAAAGH—!"

The punch, breaking the sound barrier, came crashing down in a near instant.

Reinhardt didn’t have time to dodge, but an assault of this level was far from a threat to him. To his visual-neural reflexes, the trajectory of Atlas’s punch was perfectly clear.

Combat Skill·Split Armor.

The next moment.

Dark purple living matter continuously seeped from Reinhardt’s Full Coverage Helmet, like dense muscle tissue, completely enveloping it.

Atlas’s Iron Fist fell.

BAM—!

The simple, unadorned sound of impact transformed into a blast wave, scattering the vast puddles on the ground.

Atlas also noticed the bizarre feedback from his punch. It completely lacked the soft, crisp feeling of shattering flesh and bone; instead, it felt as if he had plunged it into a mire.

But he wasn’t the least bit surprised.

Because he knew this was the Special Ability of Reinhardt’s Extraordinary Armament.

’Hmph, finally decided to use your Extraordinary Armament, Reinhardt?’

He used his position to continuously suppress Reinhardt. Propelled by the high-temperature jets, his fists became a torrential downpour raining down on Reinhardt’s face and chest.

Every single one of those punches possessed the pure force to bludgeon an Elite Slaughter Demon to death.

Even the ground around the plaza trembled ceaselessly from the pounding. Mortals who had already fled a hundred meters away could feel the terrifying tremors outside the church!

It was the horrifying aftershock of a battle between an Emperor’s Angel and a heretic!

Even so, Atlas was far from qualified to break through the Morphic Armor’s defense and strike the body within, as Flayer Du Ma had done!

Reinhardt crossed his arms to protect his front as the Aikacia Nozzles on his back suddenly erupted.

The immense propulsive force ignored Atlas’s suppression, launching them both violently into the air!

At the same time, amidst the flurry of high-speed attacks, Reinhardt’s right hand shot out and accurately seized Atlas’s right wrist. "Is this all the power you have?" he asked coldly.

With his wrist caught, hearing that iron-cold, indifferent voice, Atlas froze for a moment.

He couldn’t believe it. The man he had been suppressing for so long had not only stopped his fierce assault in an instant but could even speak with such ease.

’How is this pos...’

Before his shocked thought could fully form, that sensation of his body and consciousness sinking into a bog of time enveloped him once again.

’This trick again?’

Atlas sneered inwardly, full of disdain.

’Hmph, doesn’t this Empire trash know that this kind of Special Ability that interferes with the flow of time is useless against me?’

A silvery light instantly rippled across the surface of his body. The shackles of time shattered like glass, scattering with a CRASH. But before he could mock a Vengeful Angel for having so few tricks...

A swinging punch, wreathed in Blood Flame and Destructive Suppression, exuding a world-ending Knightly Aura, had already reached his face!

Time seemed to stop at that moment.

In Atlas’s Extraordinary Perception System, the Iron Fist Reinhardt smashed toward him was as incandescent as the sun. Its intense Knightly Aura completely overwhelmed and filled his Extraordinary Perception!

He tried to dodge, but at such close range, there was no escape from the powerful attack!

In that extremely brief instant, a look of incredulous shock appeared deep in his eyes. He suddenly realized that the back-and-forth exchange of attacks and defenses in this battle...

...was perhaps just his opponent deliberately toying with him.

Combat Skill·Humiliate People’s Power.

A Combat Technique Reinhardt developed during his time as an Official Knight. It was less a Combat Technique and more a super-heavy punch powered by pure stats! No finesse, only effort and sweat!
