I Am Not a Villain, Okay?
Chapter 29: Teaching
Sera and Morgan could make their voice as low as mosquitoes hum so others didn’t hear their conversation.
Levi took them to the training room and immediately started the training.
"First of all, you need to lose that weight."
Levi looked at his best friend’s belly and helplessly sighed.
"Impossible! I think I will one day invent a Martial Art that allows me to store a large amount of excess blood energy into my stomach."
"Then, use that energy during a battle."
Mike replied. He was very afraid of losing this weight.
His feelings about Martial Arts were a bit complicated. He did have interest in Martial Arts, and he also wanted to become a powerful Martial Artist.
But for his sisters, he had given up completely.
He raised his belly to remind him he could live a good and happy life while supporting his sisters’ dreams.
So, he wanted to keep this belly.
It signified one thing- his family was happy.
Levi, hearing his excuse, couldn’t help but feel speechless.
"Dude, do you know how much fat you have there?"
Mike shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, I don’t shave off this fat. Bro, you have to help me. With your talent, creating a Martial Art like that wouldn’t be a problem."
He grabbed Levi’s shoulders and asked.
Levi felt helpless towards his friend’s attitude. He knew Mike genuinely had some kind of connection to his belly, but he couldn’t accept it.
What kind of martial artist has such a fat belly, especially a growing Martial Apprentice?
But he couldn’t reject his best friend’s plea. He pinched his nasal root and said.
"It won’t be called a Martial Art. It would be a Secret Technique that allows your body to use that fat for recovery."
"It works like how protein is used as a replacement for carbs. Of course, fat can’t be used like that, so it will take some other methods to do that."
"Of course, the main point is fast recovery and instant consumption. This will allow your body to continuously produce blood energy for a longer period."
Hearing his words, Sonya couldn’t help but feel speechless.
One dared to ask, and the other dared to answer.
What kind of friends did she have?
At the same time, she was touched by their friendship. She didn’t have any close friends in the class.
She did have one friend, but that friend had already joined another school.
"That’s right! I knew I could rely on you. So, what should I do now?"
Mike nodded his head with satisfaction.
Levi replied.
"Of course, I have to see your Five Beasts Form through a battle and understand where you are making a mistake."
"So, we will spar. Are you two ready?"
Sonya nodded. She was wearing a black tracksuit, which was perfect for the battle. Mike was wearing a gray T-shirt and black pants.
They immediately raised their hands and assumed a Martial Stance. It was a Tiger Stance where they were preparing themselves for an attack.
They rushed forward and punched Levi from the left and right.
Their punches packed a lot of strength, but Levi was able to block both of them without even using his Martial Art.
Sonya and Mike didn’t stop, throwing a flurry of punches and kicks at Levi, which he kept dodging skillfully.
Either he would jump or duck. Either he would move sideways or duck and spin.
But throughout their attacks, he didn’t retaliate even once.
He let them attack with everything they had, and they managed to keep on offense for almost five minutes.
Finally, both of their blood energy was exhausted as they stopped.
While panting heavily, Mike fell to the ground while Sonya just placed her palms on her knees.
Levi stopped and nodded.
"I think I understand where your problem lies. First of all, Mike doesn’t have the familiarity with his attacks like Sonya."
"That means when he is using Tiger Stance for an attack, he would need to think about the energy circulation."
"In simple terms, he is lacking practice. But there is another situation. He is not lacking talent. Every time he makes a move, even if it is delayed, it’s smooth."
"Unlike Sonya, who, despite having more familiarity with her moves, manages to run her energy circulation in the wrong direction."
"This is the effect of a lack of talent rather than practice. Of course, practice is also a problem, but considering both of you trained only for a year, this is the reason."
Both of their faces fell, especially Sonya, who couldn’t help but resent her lack of talent.
On the other hand, Mike was feeling ashamed. He had enough talent, but because of his situation, he didn’t utilize that talent.
He did hate himself.
Instead of just giving up outright, he could’ve trained slightly.
But he shook his head. He kept this belly to remind his family that he was living a comfortable life.
If he got rid of this belly, wouldn’t that just prove that he was trying too hard?
He didn’t want to worry his parents or his sisters.
Levi didn’t know any of that. He was just thinking about how to improve them with what they had.
After a little bit of thinking, Levi came to a realization.
’Wait! Why don’t I just help them improve their energy utilization instead of focusing on their move?’
’Of course, Mike has to train extra, considering he is lacking in that department, but with Sonya, there is no problem.’
He nodded.
"Alright! I know how to solve your problem. We will focus on two things. First is the energy utilization, which is your cells’ energization."
"Second is the energy circulation, which is a part of a technique, but when it is regulated through a breathing method, it becomes a Martial Art."
"Since every Martial Art includes a little bit of a breathing method, which allows us to concentrate our blood energy in the exact position we want."
"So, here’s what you will do..."
After that, Levi taught them everything they needed to know. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t hard either.
But everyone’s talent was different.
By the time they had to go out for lunch, Mike had already managed to excel in his energy utilization and circulation.
On the other hand, Sonya was constantly failing at the last moment as if something was blocking her.
This was the result of talent. With enough time, she could learn it, but to learn as fast as Mike, she needed talent.
Levi didn’t say anything. He also had his own things to practice.
His Spear Technique had reached Entry Realm, so reaching Beginner Realm was the next step.
Since this was also the easiest step, Levi planned to reach it by the end of the weekend.
For most people, it would be impossible.
But since Levi had already achieved enlightenment, his progress was not much slower than that of those with a lot of talent.
Especially since he was also hard-working.
The meal was quite satisfying. Levi was quite confused about why the meat tasted so much more delicious and energizing.
But then he realized his parents must have thought M-3 meat.
Levi thoroughly enjoyed the meal and planned to release all that energy in his training.
Mike was also enjoying the food. Sonya even called out his parents for not spending so much on them.
Sera jokingly told her that since this was her first time staying in their house, they would like to be more hospitable.
If she came next time, they wouldn’t be this hospitable.
But Sonya took that seriously. She did plan to train together next weekend. After all, although she didn’t make any progress, it was just one morning.
She still had the rest of the day left and another day.
But soon, Sonya was horrified to find that she couldn’t even maintain the energy utilization.
Whenever she tried to press the blood energy into her cells, they would falter for a moment and dissipate, making her start all over again.
It was frustrating for her.
On the other hand, Mike got a good hold of that thing and started practicing his basics, training for nearly eight hours straight.
The evening meal was quite silent.
After Sonya finished her meal, she silently returned to the training room, but she wasn’t in any mood for training.
At this moment, Sera slapped Levi on the shoulder and said.
"What are you standing here for? Go and cheer her up!"
Mike instantly understood his auntie’s intention and gave him a thumbs up.
"Bro, this is your chance."
Morgan chuckled while Sera gave both of them a whack on the head.
"What kind of nonsense are you talking about? That girl is devastated. Levi, you should cheer her up. Do you know why?"
Levi paused for a moment.
He took a deep breath and said.
"Because I am the best example."
Sera nodded, her eyes dimmed a little bit before they brightened.
Levi was no longer burdened by his physique ’System’.
