Mary was his best friend’s sister. If he could help her, he didn’t have to think about it.

She glared at Mary and said.

"The battle ends here."

"It was a good fight." Levi crossed his fists and said.

Mary didn’t want her brother’s best friend to see her as an ungrateful woman. So, when she came to realize her mistake, she immediately thanked him.

Of course, she didn’t apologize. There was no need to apologize when she didn’t make any mistake.

Levi nodded and asked.

"Have you practiced any other martial arts?"

Mary nodded.

"Of course! I have a fist-type martial art, a movement art, a sword art, and a palm-type martial art."

Hearing that, Levi chuckled.

"If you had used any of that, I wouldn’t be able to fight you."

Mary countered.

Levi walked up to the bench and picked up his phone.

Hearing his words, Aisha clapped her hands and said.

"It’s already evening. Levi, why don’t you stay here tonight?"

Levi shook his head and said.

"Sorry, Auntie! I have to leave."

Aisha looked at her husband and said.

"You should go with him."

"There is no need to trouble Uncle about this. I will take a taxi."

Levi said.

"Dad can drop you off in his car. There is no need to take a taxi. Right, Dad?"

Mike spoke, turning towards his father as he asked.

"Yes!"

Harvey chuckled and walked forward. Because he was a head taller than Levi, he could easily pat him on the head.

"Come on, champ! I will take you home."

Levi rolled his eyes but didn’t argue.

They walked downstairs, where they rested and talked about other things.

Soon, Levi and Harvey left the mansion, where Harvey took him to his garage and drove out in his car.

It was a luxurious car with a black paint job.

As Harvey drove towards his car, he couldn’t help but start a conversation.

"Levi, how much do you know about superpowers?"

"Not much! Dad only told me the basics, like how they are the result of mutation from Genesis Energy."

Levi shook his head.

"I see! Then, you should know about the power system of the Old Humans, right?"

Harvey continued.

"Yeah! It was a superpower-based system. It allowed old humans to gain incredible power at the cost of going insane."

"The new system doesn’t have these issues, which makes it superior to the old system."

Levi nodded and replied.

"Hmm! That’s right. But do you know how unfair the new system has become for ordinary people?"

Harvey asked.

Levi paused and replied.

"Why do you say that, Uncle?"

"It seems you don’t know the truth. You see, when a Martial Artist reaches Grandmaster Rank, they resonate with the universal spirit."

"But instead of awakening powerful or mysterious abilities, humans awaken weak abilities."

"Let me give you an example. The Old Human can awaken a fire-type superpower, and it can easily wipe out a city with a single burst."

As they got closer to his house, Levi spoke.
