I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate
Chapter 672 - 374: Plundering the Moon God (Part 2)
This Space Armor was a peculiar form of defense. It worked by constantly extending the distance between the wearer and an incoming attack, preventing it from landing immediately and thus continuously weakening its power.
So, Su Ze’s attack was still hurtling toward the Female Bag Race, but it would likely be some time before it could actually reach her.
A Moon God was not to be underestimated. Even one from a weaker species like the Bag Race had a plethora of tricks up their sleeve, making them difficult to handle.
’I wonder how long this Space Armor can last,’ Su Ze thought. ’If she can maintain it for an extended period, this will be a problem.’
Su Ze’s eyes narrowed as a plan to break the Space Armor formed in his mind.
With a wave of his hand, the distant Magic Cube flew over. The ship shrank in size and soared into the space within the Nursing Bag.
The moment the Magic Cube entered the Nursing Bag’s space, the Female Bag Race froze for an instant before her expression changed drastically, as if she had just realized something.
The Magic Cube accelerated at full power, charging toward the Female Bag Race. As soon as it touched the Space Armor, the distance between them was stretched out infinitely, just as before.
However, this wasn’t an issue for the Magic Cube.
Su Ze usually didn’t use the Magic Cube to ram opponents in battle because there was never enough room for it to accelerate. Without building up speed, it couldn’t hit anyone, and even if it did, the impact wouldn’t be lethal.
It was the same principle as hitting someone with a car.
But now, the Space Armor’s ability had given the Magic Cube the exact acceleration distance it needed. With enough runway, the Magic Cube could even accelerate beyond the speed of light. If it hit the Female Bag Race at that speed, she would likely be vaporized on impact.
The Space Armor’s ability had to have a limit. Once the Magic Cube picked up enough speed, breaking through the distorted space would be instantaneous.
The Female Bag Race was out of options. She had to deactivate the Space Armor; otherwise, she would be finished the moment the Magic Cube got up to speed.
Su Ze hadn’t actually expected to kill the Female Bag Race with the Magic Cube. His goal was simply to force her to deactivate the Space Armor on her own.
Before deactivating the Space Armor, however, the Female Bag Race made her own preparations. A Bone Shield materialized in her hand.
The instant the armor vanished, the distance between the Female Bag Race, the Magic Cube, and the "Strongest Strike" attack returned to normal. They were only about an inch apart. The Female Bag Race instantly teleported a short distance away, dodging the Magic Cube’s ram.
However, the "Strongest Strike" was locked onto its target. The compressed asteroid changed direction and continued to hurtle relentlessly toward the Female Bag Race.
The Female Bag Race was prepared and raised her Bone Shield.
The asteroid smashed into the Bone Shield, knocking the Female Bag Race back dozens of meters until she was pinned against the edge of the space, with nowhere left to retreat.
The bones throughout the Female Bag Race’s body creaked under the pressure, cracking and shattering. Fortunately, the Bone Shield began to glow, absorbing a great deal of the force for her.
Little by little, the Bone Shield absorbed the asteroid’s impact force and all the other energies attached to it, including the purple flames.
But what the Female Bag Race didn’t know was that 299 Shadowless Needles were following close behind.
One by one, the Shadowless Needles bypassed the Bone Shield and pierced into her body.
"Aaargh!" The Female Bag Race let out a blood-curdling scream, nearly dropping the Bone Shield. The shadow energy boring into her body was akin to the most agonizing torture imaginable, like steel needles relentlessly stabbing into every inch of her flesh, and even into her very soul.
But the Female Bag Race endured the pain. Instead of immediately expelling the Shadowless Needles, she poured all her energy into activating the Bone Shield.
The asteroid crumbled to dust and dissipated. After all it had been through, the "Strongest Strike" had finally run out of power. It did, however, leave a shallow, palm-sized crater on the surface of the Bone Shield.
Su Ze could tell that the Bone Shield was also a rank-eight Divine Artifact. However, it was a natural oddity formed from a Beast Bone base combined with an alien beast’s Evolutionary Material. This combination was considered bottom-tier among rank-eight Divine Artifacts.
But no matter how one looked at it, it was still a rank-eight Divine Artifact.
A Moon God like this Female Bag Race not only possessed a Moon God-level Spaceship but also multiple rank-eight Divine Artifacts. It just went to show how profitable swindling and cheating really was.
Su Ze hesitated, wondering whether he should enter the Nursing Bag’s space. The moment he did, he would be on her home turf. But if the Female Bag Race just stayed inside, it would drag this fight out.
Considering he was already fighting someone above his own level, there was no need to take additional risks. Su Ze chose to act cautiously. He didn’t enter, instead continuing to remotely control the Shadowless Needles to torment the Female Bag Race.
If the Female Bag Race didn’t expel the shadow energy from her body soon, both her physical form and her soul would be corrupted and destroyed by it.
Su Ze had guessed the Female Bag Race would have a way to remove the shadow energy from her body, but he never expected a method this... explosive.
He watched as the Female Bag Race’s lower body began to writhe. She then birthed a ball of flesh from her body. The fleshy sphere rapidly developed and grew, transforming into a perfect replica of the Female Bag Race in the blink of an eye.
Meanwhile, the original body of the Female Bag Race had shriveled up, completely devoid of life.
Su Ze was dumbfounded. ’...Did she just give birth to herself?’
The Female Bag Race’s original body had been heavily injured and was being corroded by the shadow energy. Abandoning her old shell for a new one was certainly a wise choice.
And as a Moon God, it was normal for her to have some miraculous healing techniques.
It was just that her method was a bit... unsettling.
The reborn Female Bag Race didn’t remain huddled in the Nursing Bag’s space. Instead, she shot into the air and took the initiative, charging straight for Su Ze.
The shield in her hand was now glowing dazzlingly, seeming to contain a torrent of sealed energy within it.
Su Ze’s expression shifted slightly. He guessed what she was planning, and in a flash of insight, he charged forward to meet her instead of retreating.
In his giant form, a single one of Su Ze’s fists was countless times larger than the Female Bag Race. He threw a punch directly at her.
