I am using hacks in cultivation world
Chapter 227: Ch 227- Last Day
Mo Yuan stepped out of the cultivation chamber.
As soon as he entered the living room, he saw Goldy and Kitty lazily lying on the sofa as usual. One was resting comfortably, while the other had its eyes closed, enjoying its peaceful life.
Seeing this, Mo Yuan couldn’t help but sigh.
"These guys really don’t have a care in the world."
He shook his head and looked around, only to realize that Mo Ran wasn’t there.
After thinking for a moment, he walked toward her room and knocked on the door.
"Mo Ran, are you in there?"
"Yes, brother! I’ll be out in a minute!"
Hearing her voice, Mo Yuan nodded and waited.
About two minutes later, Mo Ran finally came out of her room.
Looking at her, Mo Yuan smiled and asked, "We are leaving tomorrow. Have you finished all the preparations?"
Hearing this, Mo Ran’s expression turned a little sad.
"Yes, brother. I’ve packed almost everything I could but there isn’t much to bring apart from my clothes."
She paused for a moment before continuing.
"I also told my friends about it. They were all sad when they heard I was leaving but when they learned that I was going to the Holy Base, they were really shocked."
Mo Yuan nodded.
"Of course they would be. The Holy Base is the safest and best place for humans. Not everyone gets the chance to live there."
After hearing this, Mo Ran nodded slightly. Then, as if remembering something, she looked at him and said, "Brother, you still need to visit the academy and sign some documents. Since I’m leaving in the middle of the semester, there are some procedures we need to complete."
"Okay, no problem. I’ll go there today and take care of everything."
Mo Yuan agreed without hesitation.
After all, he didn’t want Mo Ran to face any trouble after leaving Cang Lan Base.
Then he looked at her and smiled.
"Since today is our last day here, let’s go out and have some fun. We’ll eat outside and do some shopping. Let’s make some more memories before leaving."
Hearing the word eat, Goldy and Kitty immediately opened their eyes.
Both of them sat up and looked at Mo Yuan.
Seeing their reaction, Mo Yuan couldn’t help but shake his head.
"These gluttons..."
Mo Ran giggled.
"Okay, brother!"
Soon, the three of them left the house, with Goldy and Kitty following closely behind.
They went to a nearby restaurant and ordered a large amount of food. Goldy and Kitty happily ate their fill, while Mo Ran enjoyed the meal with her brother.
After they finished eating, Mo Yuan took Mo Ran shopping.
They visited several stores, bought some things they needed and spent some time walking around the streets of Cang Lan Base.
Although Mo Yuan had only lived here for a few months, he had become somewhat familiar with the place.
After finishing their shopping, Mo Yuan finally took Mo Ran to the academy.
He completed all the necessary procedures for her departure, making sure that she wouldn’t face any problems after leaving.
Once everything was done, they returned home.
By then, it was already around four in the afternoon.
When they arrived at the entrance, Mo Yuan stopped and looked at Mo Ran.
"Okay, I have some work to take care of. You stay at home for now. I’ll be back later."
"Okay, brother."
Mo Ran nodded and entered the house with Goldy and Kitty.
Watching them leave, Mo Yuan slowly took a deep breath.
Then he turned around and began walking through the streets of Cang Lan Base.
Although he had only lived here for a few months, the feeling in his heart was quite strange.
After the destruction of Dong Hai Base, this was the only place he could call home and now, he was going to leave this place as well.
The feeling was different from the grief he had experienced when Dong Hai Base was destroyed.
Back then, he had lost his friends and the place where he had grown up in this world but now, he was simply leaving a place where he had spent the past few months.
Still, there was a strange sense of nostalgia in his heart.
As Mo Yuan walked through the streets, he noticed several people looking at him.
Some seemed to recognize him, while others whispered among themselves.
However, Mo Yuan paid them no attention and continued walking.
Without even realizing it, he had arrived at the street where the Beast Association building was located.
Just as he was about to cross the street and leave, a familiar voice suddenly sounded in his mind.
"Oh, Mo Yuan! Come up!"
Hearing this voice, Mo Yuan’s expression softened.
A smile appeared on his face as he replied.
"Okay, Senior!"
He was genuinely grateful to Bai Chuan.
After all, it was because of him that Mo Yuan had managed to obtain the Space Talent and the new Soul Needle Talent.
These two talents had been of great help to him.
Thinking of this, Mo Yuan changed direction and walked toward the Beast Association building.
Then Mo Yuan entered the Beast Association building and walked toward the elevator.
After reaching Bai Chuan’s office floor, he stepped out and was immediately greeted by Bai Chuan’s secretary.
"Mr. Mo Yuan, the president is waiting for you."
Mo Yuan nodded and walked straight toward Bai Chuan’s office.
When he entered, he saw Bai Chuan sitting behind his desk, looking at him with a familiar expression.
It was the same look he had seen several times before.
Bai Chuan looked at him for a moment before shaking his head.
"You’re really a monster. I can already sense some of the elemental particles inside your body."
Hearing this, Mo Yuan scratched his head awkwardly.
"Ahaha, Senior, you’re overpraising me."
Bai Chuan gave him a helpless look.
"Overpraising you? Do you even realize how difficult it is to cultivate elemental particles? Even some Origin Lord cultivators struggle to make much progress in this area."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Yet you’ve already started forming elemental particles. Your talent is truly ridiculous."
Mo Yuan could only smile.
He had already gotten used to Bai Chuan’s praise, so he didn’t know what else to say.
After a moment, Bai Chuan asked, "So, which element are you planning to cultivate?"
Hearing this, Mo Yuan didn’t hide anything.
After all, sooner or later, he would have to reveal his elemental affinity. Moreover, he didn’t mind telling Bai Chuan.
"Senior, it’s Shadow."
"Oh? Shadow?"
A look of surprise appeared on Bai Chuan’s face.
He leaned back in his chair and thought for a moment.
"Then you’ll have some trouble finding suitable techniques."
Mo Yuan nodded.
Bai Chuan continued explaining.
"The human race has developed many elemental techniques over the years. However, most of them are related to the common elements, such as fire, ice, lightning and wind."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"Even among the Sovereign Realm cultivators, there aren’t many who can perfectly utilize their elemental energy. Finding a technique that complements the Shadow Element will be even more difficult."
"After all, the techniques available to humans are limited. You might have to rely mostly on your own talent and the techniques you’ve already mastered."
Hearing this, Mo Yuan nodded.
However, he wasn’t particularly worried.
With his various talents and multipliers, he could already unleash tremendous power without relying too much on elemental techniques.
Still, he understood Bai Chuan’s concern.
Having a suitable technique would certainly help him improve his strength further.
After a moment, Bai Chuan looked at him again and spoke in a more serious tone.
"I also heard about the incident involving the Maverick Family. I hope you’re not angry about it."
Mo Yuan wasn’t surprised by this.
After all, Louis was his friend. It was only natural that he would tell Bai Chuan about what had happened.
Mo Yuan smiled and shook his head.
"No, Senior. It’s fine. Besides, I received a hundred billion from them. Why would I be angry?"
Hearing this, Bai Chuan couldn’t help but nod.
He had already heard about the incident but he hadn’t expected Mo Yuan to be so calm about it.
The two of them continued talking for a while.
They discussed Mo Yuan’s departure from Cang Lan Base, as well as some matters regarding his future cultivation.
Bai Chuan also reminded him to be careful during the journey.
After all, even though the Holy Base was the safest place for humans, the journey itself could still be dangerous.
Mo Yuan listened carefully and thanked him for his advice.
Once their conversation was over, Mo Yuan stood up.
"Senior, I’ll take my leave now."
Bai Chuan nodded.
"Take care of yourself. I hope we’ll meet again soon."
Mo Yuan smiled.
"Of course, Senior."
With that, he left the Beast Association building.
After walking through the streets for a while, he finally returned home.
As soon as he entered, he went straight toward the cultivation chamber.
Although he was leaving Cang Lan Base tomorrow, he had no intention of wasting the remaining time.
Mo Yuan entered the chamber, sat cross-legged and slowly closed his eyes.
The Primordial Qi inside his body began to circulate and at the same time, he focused on the shadow elemental particles.
He had already made some progress but compared to the number he needed, it was still far from enough.
Mo Yuan then took a deep breath.
"Let’s continue."
With that, he immersed himself in cultivation once again.
