I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means
Chapter 1923 - 1035: Infiltration in Disguise (Part 2)
Chapter 1923: Chapter 1035: Infiltration in Disguise (Part 2)
He could only stare fixedly at the human before him, passively awaiting an unknown fate.
Lis was in no rush to act, instead bending down to quietly observe and meticulously analyze everything about Musaer.
His gaze slowly swept across the demon body patterns and law marks on the opponent, deeply perceiving Musaer’s unique bloodline traits, the power he wielded, and his singular soul fluctuation, thoroughly analyzing and engraving all the characteristics of this demigod in his mind.
After a long time, Lis finally ended his detailed study.
With an indifferent expression, he casually brushed the right hand over the front of his clothes, letting a faint light quietly flow around him.
In an instant, his figure, appearance, and physique started to transform visibly to the naked eye.
His clothes morphed into dark Magic Pattern Armor, his body swelled into a massive and burly demon body, and his human face completely vanished, replaced by Musaer’s exclusive ferocious demon visage, the demon horns on his forehead, and the unique Abyss Breath surrounding him.
In just a few breaths, the human standing at the scene completely disappeared, replaced by a perfect replica of the Judge Demon Musaer.
Whether it was the external appearance, physique, demon body patterns, aura pressure, or the core soul fluctuation and the faint rhythms of demigod power, all were flawlessly duplicated without any discrepancies, even Musaer himself could not detect any flaws.
What is this?
Musaer’s expression froze, almost failing to react.
Another... me?
Although Lis transformed in front of him, Musaer still found it difficult to distinguish between them.
For Musaer, Lis disguising himself to the point even he couldn’t tell them apart was baffling.
Appearance was only part of it; to a demigod, the core of identity confirmation is the soul aura.
But the "Musaer" in front of him emitted a soul aura identical to his own, without the slightest difference.
He could even sense the aura of the Abyss Rules such as [Soul] and [Darkness] from this body.
How is this possible?
Musaer looked at Lis in disbelief, wanting to struggle to rise.
But then, Lis gently placed his right hand on Musaer’s forehead.
After a strange fluctuation, Musaer closed his eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep.
Lis nodded as he looked at the sleeping Musaer, then set up a more secure Magic Barrier in the area to prevent others from entering.
He intended to use Musaer’s identity to perform certain tasks, and Musaer couldn’t have any problems until those tasks were complete.
Otherwise, the fall of an Abyss Lord would cause shifts across the entire Abyss Plane.
Such signs would easily be detected by others.
Of course, all of this was based on Lis’s strength.
To Lis, Musaer’s strength wasn’t bad, as a demigod he was no weakling.
But in front of the current Lis, he couldn’t stir any significant trouble.
It’s no exaggeration to say that, under the influence of the Rules of [Wisdom], the Divine Position of [Magic], and several other factors, Lis’s strength was still rapidly improving.
Based on Lis’s previous comparisons during battles with demigod demons, he felt like he was about to touch the rank of Divine.
However special Musaer’s means might be, before Lis’s almost divine Soul Strength, there was no chance of resistance.
It was precisely due to his formidable strength and multitude of techniques that Lis could "precisely" disguise as Musaer.
His purpose in disguising as Musaer was simple: to infiltrate the [Rot Fog Horn].
Lis’s prior observations didn’t reveal any auras of demigod demons nor Evil Gods.
However, they must be within the [Rot Fog Horn].
Though Lis hadn’t used his full power, it’s improbable that he would discover nothing.
Thus, there is only one explanation: this is Demogorgon... or rather, the design of the Abyss Will.
Under the influence of Abyssal Will Power, those demigod demons and Evil Gods naturally couldn’t be found by Lis.
For Lis, this is quite a troublesome predicament.
No matter how confident he is in his power, he doesn’t believe he could confront the Abyss Will within the Abyss.
So there’s only one choice.
If you can’t beat them, join them!
Anyway, to Lis, he had the identity of an Abyss Lord, naturally quite familiar with the power of an Abyss Lord.
Of course, he certainly wouldn’t have the Vampire Avatar take the risk.
So Lis simply went himself.
Fortunately, all the markings originating from Evil Gods, especially Demogorgon, were cleansed away by the Power of the World when he became a Gaia Guardian earlier.
Otherwise, it would be easy to be detected by others.
After Musaer fell unconscious, Lis placed a prepared ring on him.
It’s a linking ring he prepared, allowing Lis to control Musaer and borrow the power of the Abyss Lord from him.
Naturally, it’s impossible to fully grasp Musaer’s power, but just a small portion is enough to meet Lis’s plans.
He doesn’t lack strength; he just needed the corresponding Abyss Lord power to fill the last flaw.
With all these preparations and Cain’s help, Lis didn’t believe Demogorgon could detect anything without him actively exposing his power.
Lis attempted to use Musaer’s power and could feel orders originating from the Abyss Will.
An endless barrage of chaotic voices flooded Lis’s ears, seemingly trying to fill his mind.
However, Lis merely hesitated for a moment before recovering.
No wonder so many demons, under the influence of the Abyss Will, rushed to the battlefield of Gaia World. This feeling is indeed unpleasant.
At this realization, Lis suddenly noticed a problem.
That his Vampire Avatar is also a demon, and an Abyss Lord at that.
Although he could also feel the call of the Abyss Will, it was nothing compared to now.
Like the gentle breeze contrasting with a Category 12 typhoon.
What causes this pronounced difference?
Lis thought for a moment, finding no clue, then shook his head.
Maybe it’s Cain’s influence?
Lis wasn’t sure, but he wouldn’t disturb Cain over such a matter.
After confirming that Musaer and the surrounding barriers were fine, Lis followed the Abyssal Will Power’s guidance and plunged into the Abyss Space tear before him.
A dizzy sensation swept over him like a tide, the lights and shadows before his eyes twisted and overlapped violently, and everything around fell into a chaotic void.
After a brief moment of disorientation, Lis snapped back to himself and suddenly opened his eyes.
A familiar scene came into view; he had once again returned to the [Rot Fog Horn].
The surroundings matched his memories exactly, yet amidst this familiarity lay a distinctly different sense of anomaly.
Unlike before, at this moment, deep in Lis’s soul, there was a lingering sense of blurred pull.
It was the distinctive call of the Abyss Will, deeply rooted in his thoughts.
Following this intense pull, Lis slowly looked up, his gaze lock onto the massive world rift stretching across the heavens before him.
The pitch-black rift, like a ghastly scar, tore through the entire gray sky. Dark currents surged from the depths of the rift, with shadowy light continuously ebbing, exuding a terrifying pressure capable of devouring everything.
Unlike what he had previously seen, within this rift were no longer dead silent darkness; instead, several vast, wild auras faintly exuded, with layers of overwhelming pressure disseminating through the rift.
Lis’s heart chilled as he clearly identified these savage, raging auras filled with a desire for destruction, all belonging to the Abyss’s demigod demons.
Under the pure and domineering guidance and coercion of the Abyss Will, Lis’s body moved uncontrollably forward, striding directly into the pitch-black world rift.
The fierce spatial turbulence scraped constantly against his body, but was entirely isolated by the power of the Abyss Will.
Unlike ordinary demons who rushed straight into Gaia World through the rift passage, he was lifted by an invisible force, ultimately pausing within an interlayer between the two plane junctures.
This interlayer was a chaotic, lightless expanse with unstable and weak spatial barriers; fragmented plane remnants drifted around, and the air was filled with chaotic, disordered energy.
At the end of the dim view, several fearsome shadowy figures stood silently, their massive bodies blocking the faint light, while the fierce demonic aura swept indiscriminately around.
This is it!
