"Don’t bother checking my number; I’ve been waiting forever. How can a bunch of kids take a table on their own!" The middle-aged woman shook off the waiter’s hand, glaring fiercely.

The fierceness didn’t mean she was malicious; her expression just made people feel uneasy and unpleasant to look at.

With a placating smile, the waiter said, "Well, you see, they legitimately waited their turn. I can’t just kick them out to give you the table."

The middle-aged woman’s somewhat plump body shifted as she turned to glare at the waiter, "Is this how you serve people? We adults are waiting outside, and you let a few kids occupy a table. Does that seem appropriate to you?"

The waiter almost lost the smile hanging on his face, thinking, how unreasonable can you be!

"Auntie, do your kids eat off the floor?"

The middle-aged woman picked up on the implication and turned, "What did you say? Whose kid is so rude? Whose kid is it? Come out now, or I’ll educate them for you!"
