Chapter 152 - True Stellar Meteor Lightning

"Reversal of Heaven and Earth! Reflect!"

The mirror inverted the flow and reflected the bolt of azure lightning straight back at Lei Zhenwu’s face!

Lei Zhenwu’s pupils shrank. He quickly dodged the attack as he felt the lingering heat of his own lightning graze his cheek.

Before he could steady his footing, a terrifying heatwave washed over the entire basin.

"Lei Zhenwu! Die beneath my fists!"

The Nether-Abyss Tiger Demon, clad in blazing Flame Lord Armor, crashed onto him. His twin fists ignited with molten demonic flame. He threw a ferocious punch straight at Lei Zhenwu’s chest.

Lei Zhenwu raised his halberd to block the attack.

Boom!

Molten crimson fire violently detonated against Lei Zhenwu’s steel halberd. The shockwave blew away the surrounding fog, pushing everyone back.

Lei Zhenwu slid back several steps.

From all sides, attacks closed in.

The twenty puppeted elders charged again with blank eyes, their blades forming a defensive wall in front of Yun Song. The eight-armed Yin-Flesh Puppet raised its jagged claws, ready to strike from the shadows. Yan Jingshu lurked nearby, ready with the Profound Reversal Mirror to launch a sneak attack, while the Tiger Demon grinned savagely, his fists engulfed in molten demonic flames, ready for another barrage.

Lei Zhenwu stood tall amidst the rubble. His breathing grew heavy, but his eyes burned with ferocious resolve.

"A few walking corpses and a beast clad in scrap iron... think you can bury me?" Lei Zhenwu let out a hearty laugh.

Shing!

Behind Lei Zhenwu’s broad shoulders, a magnificent silver-blue Saint Halo erupted into existence. The air in the basin grew impossibly thick, and the surrounding gravity warped with a violent shudder.

The azure sparks vanished. In their place, dazzling arcs of silver-blue lightning intertwined with violet sparks flashed, swirling furiously around his halberd and coating his dark steel armor in a radiant glow.

The ambient gravity around him quadrupled in a single breath. The stone floor beneath his boots groaned and collapsed downward, crumbling into fine powder under the crushing weight.

The sudden shift struck the entire battlefield.

The twenty puppeted elders staggered mid-stride, their knees buckling as the invisible gravitational pressure locked their limbs in place, stalling their advance without harming a single hair on their heads.

Across from them, the charging Tiger Demon let out a muffled grunt as his heavy frame slammed violently on the ground. The stone cracked beneath his knees as his molten flames splattered under the sudden force. Even Yan Jingshu felt the pressure from a distance, the bronze mirror trembling in his hands as the distorted air bent the trajectory of his Qi attack.

Horrified, his face drained of its color. "What kind of power is this?!"

True Stellar Meteor Lightning!

He frantically twitched his fingers, forcing the eight-armed Yin-Flesh Puppet to shoot dozens of pitch-black spiritual threads toward Lei Zhenwu’s neck and joints. But the instant the sinister threads touched the silver-blue aura, the crushing gravitational field and jagged arcs of stellar lightning shredded them into dust before they could even move.

The heavy halberd hummed with the terrifying momentum of a falling star. Lei Zhenwu raised it with both of his hands, his armor roaring with silver blue steller lightning as he planted his footing like an unshakeable mountain.

High above the valley, another deafening metallic screech tore through the clouds.

Su Ming and Chen Wuhen traded lethal blows in the sky, their collisions shaking the mountain bedrock to its roots.

The shockwave from their collision tore through the mist, sending ripples of distorted air across the sky.

Su Ming slid back twenty steps through the empty air, his boots leaving faint trails of condensed Qi in the sky. His wrists throbbed with a dull ache. The physical power of Chen Wuhen and his Saint Grade weapon, the Blood Moon Sabre, carried a crushing weight that tried to shatter his guard with every strike.

Across from him, Chen Wuhen stood suspended in the air with his dark eyes fixed on Su Ming with greedy hunger.

"Your foundation is remarkably firm for a junior," Demonic Ancestor Mo within Chen Wuhen’s vessel said, licking the edge of his blood sabre. "To take my direct blows without shattering your arms... your body refinement is truly something special. All the more reason that I should take it for myself!"

Su Ming did not answer. He exhaled a slow breath.

With a flick of his left sleeve, the Dragon Emperor Sword slid smoothly into his left hand from his storage ring. The dark steel of the Dragon Emperor Sword in his left hand hummed in resonance with the Crimson Heaven Sword in his right.

During the last two months of regular high-intensity sparring sessions with Jian Wushen, Su Ming had pushed his swordsmanship far beyond ordinary limits. Jian Wushen, who possessed the Boundless Sword Physique, was an instinctual genius whose swordsmanship had no fixed form. To match such unpredictable swordsmanship, Su Ming had forged a dual-wielding sword technique that bridged the gap between them.

Chen Wuhen sneered. "Two swords? Juggling extra steel will not save your life, brat."

He lunged forward, his body dissolving into seven shifting blood silhouettes that tore through the sky with terrifying speed.

Su Ming shifted his stance. His left foot glided across the air using the fluid footwork of the Cloud Chasing lineage.

Sky Sovereign Sword Technique: Sovereign’s Gaze.

Su Ming’s right blade thrust forward. A heavy, commanding pressure erupted from the Crimson Heaven Sword, locking onto the lead shadow and momentarily locking the local space. The sudden gravitational pull dulled Chen Wuhen’s acceleration, forcing his true body to solidify out of the illusions.

At the exact same instant, Su Ming’s left arm whipped around in a ferocious arc.

Cloud Dragon Sword Technique: True Dragon Roar.

A powerful draconic sonic shockwave detonated from the Dragon Emperor Sword, blasting directly towards Chen Wuhen’s direction and disrupting his meridian circulation for half a breath.

Before Chen Wuhen could recover his rhythm, Su Ming pressed forward with relentless momentum.
